Muh'ammadar Rasulillaah
Alh'amdulillah!
FROM THE PROPHET'S LAST SERMON IN MECCA!
(In English)
Listen to my words, my people, for in the year to come I shall not be with thee. Hold thy
goods, thy honour and thy lives as sacred, until the day thou returnest to Allah. And the poor
and clothest them. Rememberest that one day thou wilt appearest before the Almighty and that
he will askest thee the reason for thy actions. It is true that thou hast certain rights with regard
to thy women, but they also have rights with regard to thee. Treat them well, for they are
thy comfort. I have accomplished my mission, and I am leaving thee a guide in the shape
of the Qur'aan, and the example of his messenger. Thou wilt not failest, if yea followest this
guide.
As Muhammad fell to the ground, God bespoke, "This day I perfected for thee thy religion,
and completed my favour unto thee, and chosen for thee as thy religion, Islam!"
