Taral VII(Planet)

Original Concept Design By; Matthew C. Gill

Taral VII, has always been known for it's night-life, even before the Republic's fall from grace. To many it is the place to be(or go) for entertainment or pleasure. It's booming economy seems to thrive on it's fame, and it's inhabitants have virtually any technology at their fingertips.

However the Republic was forced to cease it's support of Taral VII when it began to fall, and thusly the world had to get by on it's own. It is besieged by both the Rogue Alliance in an attempt to annex it by force, and petty gangs seeking to dominate it.

Shiverre(Planet)

Original Concept Design By: Becky

Shiverre, also known as the world of souls, is a world shrouded in enigmas. It harbors a vast and growing population; and yet it has little to no technology or economy. This is mainly due to the fact that Shiverre is no ordinary planet; it's inhabitants are already dead.

Shiverre is a living simbiotic entity that merges and grows with each new soul that chooses to spend their eternity there. In return the souls of Shiverre are completely at peace and without suffering. The planet itself accepts all souls to it, no matter the race or creed.

Glorien(Planet)

Original Concept Design By: Galadriel

Many Type II's, fearing persecution, fled the Republic; some demanded a world of they're own to call home, others still were forced onto other planets to seperate them. However the free-world of Glorien came to be neither. First colonized by a band of Type II's, Glorien had only ever been the home of still-evolving beasts. Slowly though, Glorien's population grew, as word spread of it's existance and it came to be known as a sanctuary for Constructs.

Glorien has become reknowned for it's vast technology as well as the peacefull nature of it's inhabitants. However, some have come to fear the Gloriens as they have found a way to mimic psi crafts and powers terrans possess. Even though they seem un-interrested in the destructive applications of these gifts many have grown to fear the existence of such a thing. And the Purgeists have begun using thsi fear to their own advantage. The Gloriens themselves find little favor for the various faction and no reason to take any side. As such many have found them to be excenllent teachers and sources of neutral aid.

Urenon(Planet)

Original Concept Design By: Courtney

Urenon, known to most as Shadow-World, is considered a myth. However durring the Republic's fall many a scouting party went missing trying to annex the mysterious planet Urenon.

The Planet itself is an oddity; it's inhabitants are very sparse, with virtually no economy and very little technology to speak of. However, due to it's makeup, Republic Officials believe Urenon to be rich in resources vital to restoring the Republic fleets to glory. They also believe that a study of the Urenian people and how they survive would greatly benefit the Republic.

Unfortunately no contact has yet been made with the Urenian people's. But it is believed that contact is possible, and perhaps that the Urenian people are descendants of a legendary krynean colony interested in psi research that vanished long ago.

Some scientists speculate that due to adverse conditions the krynean colony mutated into a unique species of it's own. And has somehow adapted to survive Urenon's enviromental conditions.

Coromar's Outpost(Space-port/Spacestation)

Original Concept Design By; Matthew C. Gill

Coromar, a free-lance freight-runner(among other things), established his outpost long before the Republic ever had it's troubles. Always one for looking ahead Coromar strategically positioned himself slowly, and when the Republic fell he quicly filled their gap in transport needs, and his own pockets.

Coromar's Outpost retains it's own infamous reputation as well as a hive of intergalatic debris and as a place where the right price can buy just about anything. Just the way Coromar prefers. It is rumored though that while Coromar claims he is his own man and his outpost it's own, that it harbors deep ties with the Rogue Alliance.

Langia(Moon)

Original Concept Design By: Lenneth

First discovered in 3042R.E./0002A.R. by Republic diplomatic envoys seeking to follow and contact Vel-Teh, the aquatic moon of Langia was immediately designated a paradise. It's beautiful seas and waterfalls were only surpassed by the kind-hearted kryneans who dwelt there.

The Langia fishing and tourism industries keep the Langian economy booming. It is said that huge fish swim it's vast oceans and are considered wonderfull delicacies as well as potent sources of medicines.

Langia is also known for it's religious sites the locals refer to as "sanctuaries." These sites are ofter frequented by both believers and those curious. It is said that Langian sanctuaries have been known to generate powerfull barriers, or exist hidden all over the landscape for use during conflicts.

However in 3043R.E./0003A.R. the Republic sent troops to annex Langia for it's economy and technology. Unfortunately, a contingent of the Federated Union was also en-route to commence negotiating an annexation. Conflict shortly began escalating and despite Langian attempts to stop the ensuing conflict, but battle erupted and the face of Langian was scarred.

Langians have claimed both neutrality and independence ever since. As well as a distrust and (for some) a hate of the Republic.

Langia's icy-blue seas and silver-caped peaks still beckon travelers. Most it's visitors stumble upon Langia by accident, it still remains a secret resort.

Brinore(spaceport)

Original Concept Design By: Lenneth

Brinore Spaceport, center of trade and technology, was constructed in 3041R.E./0001A.R. However running low on funding the Republic was forced to abandon completion of the port, and leave it useless. Freelance construction crews working on the spaceport were left with empty pockets and a nearly completed spaceport, and witht he Republic unable to pay they merely accepted their loses and inhabited Brinore spaceport.

For years travelers and refugees of all races came to call Brinore home, their cultures mixing. However once the Republic stabalized in 0010A.R. it appeared that they had forgetten Brinore Spaceport. That is untill Brinore became a major trader in both arms and other "usefull" items. Suddenly the Republic declared it's outrage at it's property being so freely inhabited by "space trash." The Brinorians contested claiming they were an independant colony and that the Republic was at fault for completeing payment, thusly forfitting all rights.

Unfortunately in 0012A.R. the Brinore Spaceport was declaired a reclaimed property of the Republic and was forced to rejoin with it. Even so the Brinorian people retain their sense of independace. They say in 0015A.R. a bandit fleeing ADF forces escaped to the spaceport and was aided by the Brinorians. To this date he has never been found and it is assumed he is still in hiding aboard the Spaceport.

Draconious(Station)

Original Concept Design By: Courtney

Draconious Station, a small outpost of the Republic, has little to offer at first glance. However it's known throughout the underworld as a place to go when you need info. The station itself is inhabited mainly by terran-krynean half breeds that give the station it's pleasent atmosphere.

Draconious station isn't without it's darkside though, durring the revolts of 3040R.E. a conflict errupted on the station. Young idealists attempted to raise support against the Republic and durring an anti-Republic demonstration violence broke out. In the chaos Republic peace officers opened fire and accidently injured a small group of children, killing three. No such outburst has since occured but the stations faith in the Republic has decreased, and yet Draconious station still supports the Republic(perhaps out of fear...).

Manglor(Planet)

Original Concept Design By: Courtney

Manglor, one of the most vile worlds, is fortunately known only to few, as most who stumble upon it are never again heard from. The planet itself is home to murderous theives prefering to do as they please. As such the Rogue Alliance was the perfect opportunity for Manglor to be left to it's own devices.

However the origin of Manglor is still a mystery; it is inhabited by malcontent bioids. Some believe manglor itself was a Purgeist's Party ploy to herd and use bioids to spread dissent. The only ones to perhaps know the truth are the handfull of traders to rumored to actually have dealings with the bioids of Manglor, and none have been found, much less found willing to discuss the matter.

Pathena (planet)

Original Concept Design by: Ariadne ap'Shadowhawk

Nestled deep within the isolated regions of the outer rim lies the ancient world of Pathena. It's people filled with a rich and varied history. They have always been aware of the Republic it seems, and yet have chosen to remain unknown.

The Pathians are a tall beastial race standing on average around 2.3 meters. Short snouts adorn their faces and dense fine hair cover their bodies in colors rangeing from shades of amber to hues of auburen. Panthians also possess thick tussled manes that they gennerally wear long. Ears that rise to points that curl back and elongated fingers and toes add to their distinct appearance.

However very few people have ever even seen a Pathian, as they ferverantly defend their planet from discovery. The Vel-Teh seem to be the only people the Pathian truely trust to maintain any dealings with, and they in turn have never betrayed their allies trust.

Pathenian space is avoided like the plague by all slave trade and smuggler traffic. Apparently those ships that "accidentally" enter Panthenian space have a bad habit of being returned to port unconscious and empty-handed or worse... Causing the area itself to be labeled a danger-zone indeed.
