First a little galactic history
Late earth 20th century, earth invades by the Xidus (spider descendants)
This triggered their 5th stage evolution (the final perfect stage)
War ensued but not before Earth itself burned
Shortly after this the Core System Alliance was formed in an effort to stop a galactic war
The main race of the CSA was the Sumai Thraxians (a peaceful race)
They were being trained to war once again by a Terran named Max (the brother of the Terran leader Price)
It was then that the Arcadians decided to come back from their self imposed exile
50,000 years ago the Arcadians and Sumai were at war
(Sumai led by a god empress who ordered them to war)
It was bloody slaughter on both sides
At the last moment the Arcadians pulled back to give the Sumai the chance to evolve to the 5th stage.
To recover they used Magic to hide arcadia and left the galaxy
After millennia they became just a myth
Whether by accident or design time passed differently
So that when Arcadia returned 50,000 years had passed and the universe had changed.
The home system was inhabited by another race (who were shocked when the planet just appeared)
The Sumai Thraxians had become all that they had hoped
And another war was brewing
Well the Arcadians joined the CSA and that caused a surge in membership
And a fragile peace between Terra and Xid was negotiated
(The kind of peace while both sides is re-arming)
Caught in the center of the eventual battleground is the Prospero system
The party and vacation place of the galaxy
Any war would wipe out the entire system
However as well as a party place it also boasts the largest collection of mercenaries and badasses in the universe (as well as a great deal of money)
That’s where we come in!
Our mission “find a way to stop the war”
Our reward 5 million credits and title to a planet of our own

Ok now a little about us
Basically humanoid in appearance except for the wings and a neon blue glow
The blue glow is caused by infusion with Mana (the energy of the universe)
The only race to have developed and commonly use Magic (most others technological peoples)
Accomplished sword masters and mages alike
And wise beyond their appearance (50,000 years did pass if a little strangely)
Each Arcadian belongs to a school that denotes the kind of training and life path they have
With a particular skill in the charming and seduction of Terran females (particularly governors wives!)
After a snag (getting caught in the act so to speak)
I was hiding out in the Prospero system when my Headmaster (leader of my school) asked if I would
Join the quest for avoiding war (getting the planet and the money as a reward)
So I went off with the crew to find a place to start
