ERRORS IN THE NEW ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS OF THE BIBLE

By Georgia Reams

All of the many English Translations of the Bibles produced since 1611 have been tampered with. According to Evangelist, Bill Bradly, (author of Purified Seven Times): "Every English translation produced since 1611 (you read correctly—EVERY English translation produced since 1611) is based on the inferior, corrupt, minority text invented by two lost, infidel, spiritist, ghost-chasing Episcopalian/Romish priests named Wescott and Hort. The minority text, comprised chiefly of Codices Vaticanus, Sinaiticus and Alexandrinus, accounts for about five percent of all known Greek manuscripts. These manuscripts not only differ from the faithful Majority Text on which the King James Bible is based, they also differ from each other in thousands of instances. How these texts rose to prominence among modern "scholars", theologians, and even in the halls of pseudo-fundamentalist colleges and universities certainly defies all reasonable explanation, and is without doubt one of the greatest deceptions the devil has ever pulled off." If you compare these same verses in other New English Bibles, such as the Net Bible, NI, NAS, RS, NRS, LB, NC, the NKJV (which is not a "NEW King James as all the changes and 'improvements" to the text are all drawn from the same faulty, corrupt, unreliable texts of Wescott and Hort, the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus), et al, you will find these same important omissions in important words, and many entire verses. Below are only a few of the omissions and changes in these and other English Translations. There are many, many more! The One World Church is determined to remove the deity of Jesus from these books, and give the glory to Satan, instead.

(The NKJV follows the other English versions)

"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils:"
I Timothy 4:1

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

The very cleverly translated, deceitful NKJV

The claim of the writers of the NKJV is that "A special feature of the New King James Version is its CONFORMITY to the thought flow of the 1611 Bible".

The removal of "thee," "thou," and "thine" which are used in the SINGULAR, and "ye", which is PLURAL, are far more ACCURATE than "you" which is the replacement pronoun in the NKJV.

The scholars of the 1611 Bible wanted an ACCURATE, word-for-word translation of the Hebrew Text. The writers of the NKJV claim that their translation was made because "thee" "thou" "ye", etc. are no longer part of our language. Well, then, change the wording in our hymns, also—"How Great Thou Art" to "How Great You Are", "Come Thou Fount" to "Come You Fount", etc. Sounds rather silly, doesn't it? It certainly doesn't read correctly. And neither does the New Versions of the Bible.

The translaters of the NKJV wanted to do away with obsolete words such as HELL (23 times). It is replaced with "Hades" and "Sheol" which are NOT accurate replacements.

VINES Expository
HELL—
1. For the rendering "hell" as a translation of Hades, corresponding to Sheol, wrongly rendered "the grave" and "hell," see HADES.
2. The verb tartaroo, translated "cast down to hell" in 2 Peter 2:4, signifies to consign to Tartarus, which is neither Sheol nor Hades nor Hell, but the place where those angels whose special sin is referred to in that passage are confined "to be reserved unto judgment:" the region is described as "pits of darkness," RV.

HADES—
1. the region of departed spirits of the lost (but including the blessed dead in periods preceding the Ascension of Christ). It has been thought by some that the word etymologically meant the unseen (from a, negative, and eido, to see), but this derivation is questionable; a more probable derivation is from hado, signifying all-receiving. It corresponds to "Sheol" in the OT. In the A.V. of the OT and the NT, it has been unhappily rendered "Hell", e.g., Psa 16:10; or "the grave," eg., Gen. 37:35; or "the pit," Num 16:30, 33; in the NT the Revisers have always used the rendering "Hades;" in the OT they have not been uniform in the translation, e.g., in Isa. 14:15, "hell" (marg., "Sheol"); usually they have "Sheol" in the text and "the grave" in the margin. It never denotes the grave, nor is it the permanent region of the lost; in point of time it is, for such, intermediate between decease and the doom of Gehenna. Note: In I Cor. 15:55 the most authentic mss. Have thanatos, death, in the second part of the verse, instead of HADES, which the A.V. wrongly renders "grave" ("hell," in the marg.).

According to Webster's New World Dictionary, 1950s College Edition:

HELL—
1. In the Bible, the place where the spirits of the dead are: identified with Sheol and Hades.
2a in Christianity, the place where fallen angels, devils, etc. live and to which sinners and unbelievers go after death for torment and eternal punishment; hence, b) the people in hell. C) the powers of evil or darkness.
3. any place or condition of evil, pain, misery, cruelty, etc.

HADES—
1. In Greek mythology, a) the home of the dead, beneath the earth. [author's note: these translators of the NKJV turns the Bible into MYTHOLOGY!] b) the ruler of the underworld: also called Pluto, DIS.
2. In the Bible, the state or resting place of the dead: used especially in the Revised Version of the New Testament.
3. [often h-], [Colloq.], hell: a euphemism.

SHEOL—
1. in the Old Testament, a place in the depths of the earth where the dead are supposed to go: underworld.
2. [s-], [Colloq.], hell.

Ref: Matthew 16: 18
KJV—" And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." NKJV—"And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." Ref: Luke 16:23 KJV—"And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom." NKJV—"And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom." Hell is removed in: 2 Sam. 22:6, Job 11:8, 26:6, Psalm 16:10, 18:5, 36:13, 116:3, Isaiah 5:14, 14:15, 28:15, 18, 57:9, Jonah 2:2, Matt. 11:23, 16:18, Luke 10:15, 16:23, Acts 2:27, 31, Rev. 1:18, 6:8, 20:13, 14. Other changes:
NKJV thinks "Hades" should be "grave"—I Corinthians 15:55

NKJV thinks "repent" (Webster's: Turn away from sin or do penitence) should be "relent" (Webster's: Give in, as to influence or pressure )(44 times)—Matthew 21:32

NKJV thinks "repent" should be "remorseful"(Webster's: Feeling or expressing pain or sorrow for sins or offenses)—Matthew 27:3

NKJV thinks "repentance" should be "irrevocable (Webster's: Impossible to retract or revoke )—Romans 11:29

NKJV thinks "new testament" (Webster's: A profession of belief )should be "new covenant" (Webster's: (Bible) an agreement between God and his people in which God makes certain promises and requires certain behavior from them in return )—Matt 26:28, Mark 14:24, Luke 22:20, I Cor 11:25, 2 Cor 3:6, Heb 9:15

NKJV thinks "damned" "damnation" (Webster's: (Christianity) in danger of the eternal punishment of hell) (Webster's: The state of being condemned to eternal punishment in Hell) should be "condemn(ed)"(Webster's: to declare to be wrong)—Romans 14:22

NKJV thinks "devils" (Webster's: the personal supreme spirit of EVIL) should be "demons" (Webster's: divinity, spirit, and attendant power or spirit)

NKJV thinks "servant" (Webster's: A person working in the service of another ) should be "slave" (Webster's: A person who is owned by someone)—Romans 6:22, I Cor 7:22.

NKJV thinks "end of the world" should be "end of the age", which fits in perfectly with their satanic New Age Movement, which teaches a series of ages—Matt 12:32, 13:39, 13:40, 24:3, 28:20, Mark 10:30, Luke 13:30, 20:34,35, I Cor 1:21
The New Age Movement and the occult are waiting for their christ, Maitreya, called the Anti-Christ in the Bible. He is referred to as the Coming One by New Agers and the NKJV—Luke 7:19, 20 (see also Matt 11:3). John told his disciples to ask Jesus: "Are you the Coming One…"
In the highly reverenced prayer of the New Agers and which is chanted by them to invoke Maitreya, it says: "Let Light and Love and Power and Death, Fulfil the purpose of the Coming One." And finally…..
NKJV thinks that "Godhead" should be "Divine Nature".

This is a mere pittance of all the errors in the NKJV. Today, the purest translation is still the
AUTHORIZED KING JAMES VERSION!
Nothing has been changed from the 1611 edition of the Authorized King James Bible.
ALMOST 400 YEARS, AND IT IS STILL THE SAME UNCHANGED, INSPIRED, WORD OF GOD!

Do you know Jesus? He's coming soon for His Church. Are you ready? If not, and you would like to be, just make this commitment:

Dear Jesus! Please forgive me for my sins. I know that you are the Son of God, and that you died on the cross for my sins. I also know that you raised up on the third day to sit at the right hand of the Father. Be my Lord and Savior, Jesus.

Romans 10: 9,10 tells you to "confess with your mouth, and believe in your heart that JESUS IS LORD, and you will be saved." Faith and repentance are the only qualifications you need.
