Newsflash - Fae (Ch Verdoro's Faerie Cake) wins three Group Firsts at Lloydminster Kennel Club 2004 and goes BEST IN SHOW!
I had showed and finished “Fae” for friend/breeder Ann Greenbank.
At first sight of her all I could say was that “she looks like our old girl “Clown” (MBIS CH Verdoro’s Amelia Bearheart) . At that time we thought she would be a great addition to my breeding program but had no room for her. 5 months later my situation changed and “Clown” also needed a companion, so as a birthday present to myself I drove out to Ann’s and announced she was coming home with me.
Before being bred to our “Cowboy” (CH Leilani’s Bull Bustin’), Fae and I did a little more showing and she is now a group placing bitch.
She is now retired from the whelping box and will be returning to the ring to play in the veteran classes at specialties and sweeps.
She is definitely not my “Clown” but
she has filled a void. And I think every once in a while “Clown” whispers in her ear what makes mom happy and how to make me smile.
