Replacing The Rear Shocks

Alright, I've found some easier ways to do this other that the way I did it, I'll write up how I did it, and add in some stuff that I think would make things a whole lot easier, but I'm not sure about them.

First thing to do, jack up the car so that the wheels are right off the ground and the suspension is hanging free. Then put the car up on jackstands.
Take the wheels off and put them somewhere where they'll be out of the way.
Now, in the rear of the car(cargo compartment, trunk...) there will be two little plastic covers on top of the shock towers, theyre just held in by clips, so just pull them off. You should see three bolts under that little plastic cover.

Now this is where my way, and the easy way come in:

My way:
Take the two outside bolts out
(image here)
Leave the inside bolt in. After you have the two outer bolts taken right off, go back to the wheel wells. Take off the lower mount bolt of the shock, i believe its either a 14mm or a 17mm.

After that bolt is out, you'll probably notice the shock has gone through the hole in the lower control arm and that it has come out from the top of the wheel well. if it hasnt, just pull it down a bit and it'll come out. Now to get the shock and spring assembly out, pull it up as high as you can, then use a foot to push down on the LCA enough to clear the bottom of the shock, then just pull it right out.
Next step is to remove the shock from the spring, that is what the inside/center bolt is for on the top. If you have a spring compressor, put it on now, and if you dont, try to get one, but if you cant get one, you should still be able to do it, but I am in now way responsible for anything injuries or damage that could happen. Remove the nut on the top of the shock, and you should be able to pull the shock mount and spring right off of the shock.

Easier way (I think):
Take out the two outer shock mount bolts from inside the trunk area. Then remove the inside nut also. Next go into the wheelwell area, now would be the time to put the spring compressor onto the spring, if you have one, if you dont, same as for my way, i am in no way responsible for what happens. After you have the compressor on, remove the lower shock bolt. The shock/spring assembly should pull out from on top, and now you can just pull the shock mount and spring assembly off of the shock. After you have it off, the shock should just pull out of there.

Installation is pretty much just the reverse of removal, for both ways.
