DNC Posts Fake DeLay Mugshot
The Democratic National Committee is distributing a fake
mug shot of House Majority Leader Tom DeLay as part of its concerted effort
to drive him from office.
The photo, featuring a smiling DeLay behind the words "Case File,"
includes the superimposed number "18821" - all designed to give the
impression that the top Republican had been arrested and charged with a
crime.
Next to the bogus photo, which is posted to the DNC's web site, a
headline reads: "Scandal Man: A Guide to the Ethics Violations, Abuses of
Power and Corruption of House Majority Leader Tom DeLay."
The DNC's fake photo notwithstanding, DeLay has not been charged, let
alone arrested, in connection with any of the allegations touted by
Democrats and their handmaidens in the media - and has never been implicated
in any criminal activity.
