Welcome to the realm of the Stone! The stone itself keeps Gaundaria alive, keeps the magick flowing, and protects Gaundaria as well. Any enemies that enter the island will get a major amount of energy(mostly magickal) sucked away from them and given to the creatures of Gaundaria, and to the River. The stone now remains in a chamber near the centre of the island, underground, about 30 ft into the ground, with concrete walls and gaurds noble to the Queen. The stone itself can only be wielded by the Queen, and has a great deal of power in it, enough to destroy anything that has density, which is why it has to be kept so incredibly safe. Many have tried to take the stone, but failed because the closer they got to it, the more energy it took from them. But, once you touch it(which is almost impossible because you would be almost be dead by the time you got to the top of the stair well) it will stop taking energy from you, and you will be slightly revived.
