There were three great wars:
Gaundarias Great Wars were all fought rather bravely, and were won fairly. These wars had all great tactics, using all the forces of nature and all the elements(water, fire, earth, air)in hand, all used mainly of Gaundarias Magick. I will introduce you to the Great Wars of Gaundaria:
The Great War of Titania
we were friends of the people of Titania, and traded many thing with them, and exchanged many thoughs and stories. This war started all because of a simple missunderstanding. They thought that we stole an ancient ring of theirs that held great power(I know, this does sound like the Lord of the Rings), though it was only one of the most strategic thief on their island, Gladan. They attacked us with brutal tactics before even trying to reason first. Many of us were killed, because they tried using our tactics, but becaue of the stone in the centre of the island(see the History of Gaundarias Magick scroll), they were much weaker than normal. In fact, the stone took half of their energy and used it against them. This war lasted many years, up to 20, until they realized tat Gladan had it, and he used the ring aginst his island while the forces were fighting at our island. when they realized this, they appologized an forfitted the war. Gladan destroyed their island, because he did not know how to wield it, and the island is now a barren waistland. it also cracked in half from the fissure of the great Ring. The ring melted in a volcano and many are terrifyed of enering the island.
The War of the Stone
This has to do with the war of the inlanders, because they tried to fight for the stone earlier on. The inlanders used to be a trading post of black chaos dragons, but they, in time, made an empire and took over many lands. They wanted more power, and soon heared of the stone and our magickal waters, and grew greedy and were corrupted already with the power they already have. They tried to plan a sneek attack to take our island and the stone, but because of our psy powers, we found out. They were only half way, when we sent out our first heat of warriors, and they were taken by suprise. The first heat was slain, because we underestimate what power they had, so we sent out our second heat, with many of our best heroes and heroines(Gladys, Charaba, Morlin, slendra, and Blarden) and slayed their dragons, which made the ocean between our and their land red with blood, and is now called the Blood Sea. They never bothered us for a millenium.
The War of the Inlanders
This war happened just recently, about 2 weeks ago. There was a war above us between the Inladers and the Vestonites(the continent above our island) in which our barrier stopped the bodies from falling onto us. we hadent noticed that they secretly broke the barrier with an ultraviolet dragon(one species we cant detect with our magickal forces), and the Vestonites lost, and they went from above our island into it, attacking everyone in it. we all fled to the Gryffons thicket in the forest, where they didnt detect us, and took over our castle. we then tried to attack them, and destroyed their first heat, and we fld because of our small number. My friend Denser, a very prestge elf in arrow shooting, killed spies when we were hiding in a nearby cave. he killed over 80 dragons, which decreased their number pretty good. Then, with the help of a couple other dragon friends of mine from Tyshas Dragon Forum, whent to take over the castle, and took some prisoners back with us, and fled killing about 375 dragons, because we planned a sneek attack. we then decided to have a massive battle to finnish it all, and we won! We freed all the prisoners, and our land is now peaceful and protected from an extra stong barrier, mostly produced by the stone. Those are all the major wars of Gaundaria, though many very small meaningless ones took place as well.
