TRD Springs Install

March 18th - 19th. I installed my TRD (Toyota Racing Development) Lowering springs. Lowered the car a little bit more than an inch in the front and a bit more in the back.
Overall not a bad install. Had some trouble with the Stabilizer Bar end-link, and a bolt in the back. But all in all it went smoothly.

After

It doesn't look all that different now but once the springs had time to settle there is a noticable difference.

The Front

So I started with the front springs. All in all not a problem. EXCEPT one Stabilizer bar end-link. I accidentaly stripped part of it so I couldn't get it off. But with the right tools anything is possible and I was able to get it off.
This is the End-link that I messed up. It is a little fuzzy but you get the idea.

Once that end link was off and the nuts on the top of the strut were removed, the whole assembly came right out.

With the spring compressor I was able to tear down the strut pretty easily.

Now the back.

To get the rear shocks out I had to completly gut the trunk of the car.

This is the bolt i had so much trouble with. I ended up taking the car to a local shop to have them loosen it up for me.

Afer a LOT of wiggling, jiggling and yelling obscenities, I got the rears out.

Thats about it for now.
