The original, and one many think is the best of the entire series. My personal favorite is Child's Play 2. Anyway, a serial killer named Charles Lee Ray gets iced in (of all places to die) a toy store he's dying and then he spys a toy doll. Quickly remembing the voodoo spell, he chants the spell over the "Good Guy" Doll. Chucky is BORN!!!
Some street peddler picks up the doll inhabited by Chucky and sells it to this Mom who son's name is Andy. Of course, Chucky is now killing people because he wants revenge, or he just feels like killing someone today like most alduts feel like drinkin' coffee. Slowly, people discover Chucky is not just a doll. Usually those people are dead now. But Andy and Andy's Mom both soon realize that Chucky is evil
After murdering his former voodoo teacher, he learns that he must transfer his soul into Andy or be a doll for ever. And he's on a deadline. His doll body is turning real!
In the movie, Chucky dies. But not after getting shot 20 so times, his arms shot off, his head shot off, one leg shot off, and oh yeah, he was thrown in a fireplace before they played swiss cheese with Chucky's limbs. Of course, Chucky comes back. "I'LL BE BACK! I ALWAYS COME BACK!" To quote a famous 3rd sequel.
See some other reviews, because my opipion isn't everything, it's just law.
