Flashes of faces, people he'd never known, yet were somehow familier. Koi

didn't understand them, theydidn't matter. Now...the faces are flooding back,

the archmage releasing the damns that heldthe images back. A woman, his

mother...he thinks...a waif of a girl. His father, strong, silent. Other

faces, a blur, happy, his people, his home. And darker images, a home on

fire, men raiding his town, slaughtering his people. A man, looking at him

intently as he sat crying pointing at him and then nothing. The memories are

fragments, never quite complete, torn from his mind. Gone forever, or still

lost within his mind only time will tell.

Hugon has disconnected.

Eclipse [to Koi]: Nothing appears to be wrong with her. She looks like she's

awake, but she's behaving as though she's trapped in a nightmare or

hallucinating from a terrible fever.

The resolution of Hugon fades. With a hiss of static his disconnected body

implodes into a single point of light, then blinks out of existence.

Koi calls out to the people on deck. "Help!" Then sits down next to Taetia in

an attempt hold her steady.

AlMarth rushes down

Oriana continues to sleep, and will do so unless somebody kicks her again...

Rahab runs down too.

Rahab glances at the empty space, as if for confirmation.

Eclipse [to Oriana]: That will take an extended ritual. You'd have to ward

Koi nods to Oriana. "If your to tired...you can wait until your rested."

AlMarth finds one of the empty water barrels, and ties it to something so it

can catch the rainwater

Oriana sneaks into the cabin and curls up in a corner

Taetia has a very happy smile on her face.

Taetia says, "Hello Oriana. Try not to get the bed wet."

Oriana looks up at Taetia. "You seem unusually cheerful today..."

Taetia says, "Yes. We're all going to drown."

waves don't pull them off. The sea, she will have to take us down crew,

Oriana says, "We're not going to drown. Ahab and Vernon know what they're

doing."

Oriana's voice, however, sounds a little uncertain when she says this...

Koi nods. "Captain...will we need worry about lightning?"

Taetia shakes her head "He won't be able to hurt me anymore soon."

AlMarth asks ahab what the most dangerous thing about the storm is

Oriana [to Taetia]: Don't you feel like you have a score to settle with him

first? I know I do.

Taetia says, "Yes.. but if I try.. he'll hurt me again, and make me into her."

Taetia says, "So it's best that we all die now, so he can't hurt us."

Koi sets about helping to secure cargo and rigging, readying the ship for the

storm.

You say, "The rain begins to fall in sheets on the deck. Ahab turns to Koi,

'Now, I want you and anyone else without the sense to tie yourself to the

deck to find some buckets and bail out water as quickly as you can. We're

already taking on water. If the water reaches the edge of the rail, we're

sunk! Understood?'"

Taetia pages, "Hmm... With forces, don't suppose I could subconciously whip

the sotorm up higher?"

Oriana [to Taetia]: He can't hurt us, or anyone else, if we succeed. That's

why we have to do this.

Koi nods to Oriana. "Hurry." And with a worried glance at Taetia, he turns and

heads out to the deck again to prepare to help out.

Oriana glances back at Taetia once more, then goes above decks to help bail.

Rahab [to Taetia.]: "What's a nevitable?"

stronger, pain is weakness leaving the body. But as we're going to die, the

pain is pointless. A quick death by drowning is best."

Ahab, "If we all drown, dehydration will be the least of our worries. We

might be able to make it to the coast if the sail holds."

Taetia says, "It's a bit like freezing to death. A bit of pain at first, then

it's like going to sleep."

Koi wonders how hard it would be to cast in a storm.

Rahab shakes her head. "We won't drown." Completely confident.

handle much more of this!"

right. Whoever they are, they've got some really intense magic on their

ship."

Koi shouts. "But will we -survive- in this one?"

Ahab "Well, once we're in it's wake, we'll be sheltered from the storm, too.

Let's hope no one pays us any mind until the storm passes.
