Logfile from Malakai

Eclipse puts on his dragon medallion. "When last we left Hell's Errand Children, they had managed to defeat 5 Fae and were currently discussing the best method to cook and serve Caine, when and if they ever manage to get close enough to him again to bury the proverbial hatchet in his back. Psyche and Mereke wandered off to Theusleh to Save the World from the Fae, using a plan suggested to them by, you guessed it, another Fae."

[OOC] Psyche says, "After, of course, a bit of cutesy "come back to me" between T and P in the style of all good adventures."

[OOC] You say, "Of course..."

[OOC] Plax says, "Game time?"

Plax glances around. "Well, how do we want to proceed?" Plax asks the group at large.

[OOC] You say, "About an hour after sunset - twilight."

Valyros says, "I'm not sure about leading up to it, but when we get there, I plan on stopping the bastard's regeneration then start whailing on him."

Typheous frowns darkly. "Just make sure he's alone. I don't want to take them all on.... Is there some way we could trick him to come out here alone?"

Valyros says, "Probably tricking him to come to a meeting where what's left of the faculty want to draw a battle plan for dealing with the renegade fae?"

Plax shrugs. "You'll have to beat me to the beating part. And somehow, I don't foresee him coming alone, Typheous. We do need to do it, however, before the chaos begins, I think. Once he 'saves' the town from the Fae, guess who they're going to cheer as their leader?"

Plax looks up. "We don't have long until dawn, in the scheme of things. That's when the Knights will arrive. I can't believe he's going to try and take on hundreds of rogue Knights with just those he brought".

Typheous scowls. "And if we take care of him now, those hundreds won't get here. And the Fae will have little reason to attack." His music is dark, though it hints of his mind being elsewhere.

Plax says, "And what do we do about the Fae when they /do/ get here?"

Plax says, "It isn't as though they're going to get advance notice..."

Typheous takes a deep breath. "Well, the other choice is to let the Knights deal with them and then fight our way through 400 Knights to Caine. Since I doubt the others are really that far out of his control."

Valyros says, "Or wait until both forces engage, and in the chaos take out Caine while he's back here giving battle directions."

Typheous frowns, shaking his head. "If the Fae don't have some sort of advanced knowledge, how do they know he's here?"

Plax considers. "We do this, and we get rid of the Knights. Period. The only question is when".

Valyros says, "Perhaps we are overanylizing things so far. We get rid of Caine, we get rid of the Knights. We get rid of the Knights, we get rid of the Fae."

Typheous nods slowly. "You have a point. And I don't think the Fae will continue their attack, at least not all of them, if the Knights aren't here. And if some of them stop their attack, they'll start bickering amoungst themselves." His music seems to becoming less tense, at least less ambiguous, though the harmonies are still not at the task at hand.

Valyros says, "So shall we lay our trap for our vicious little bloodsucker?"

(remotely) Plax is going to be smart and put up a Time 2/Corr 2 Ward around the area. Diff 5?

Plax has received your page: "Yup. Good thinking, btw..."

Plax stays quiet, apparently squinting off in the distance as he clicks his tongue.

[Roll]: Plax rolled Arete (3d10): 1, 6, 10 ** 1 success (diff 5) **

[Roll]: Plax rolled Arete (3d10): 4, 1, 6 ** 0 successes (diff 5) **

[Roll]: Plax rolled Arete (3d10): 8, 5, 7 ** 3 successes (diff 5) **

[Roll]: Plax rolled Arete (3d10): 9, 4, 1 ** 0 successes (diff 5) **

*** Scourge die is a 1: Backlash Triggered ***

[OOC] Plax sighs.

[OOC] You say, "No Backlash on this."

[Roll]: Plax rolled Arete (3d10): 3, 9, 9 ** 2 successes (diff 5) **

[Roll]: Plax rolled Arete (3d10): 4, 7, 2 ** 1 success (diff 5) **

[Roll]: Plax rolled Arete (3d10): 8, 5, 7 ** 3 successes (diff 5) **

Typheous's eye looks off toward Wizdin. "We need to make sure we don't do anything until we're sure Psyche and Mer are away." (Strike that sentance if they've already left here.) "Then how do we want to trap him?"

Plax pages: "I'll let it go there. 3 into duration gets me what? (hasn't warded in forever)"

Plax holds a hand up for silence.

[OOC] You say, "They'll be leaving fairly soon. I sent her on a small side-quest, but that shouldn't take more than an hour or two."

Valyros looks at Plax then what he's staring at in the distance.

Plax has received your page: "Until the end of the story or a number of days equal to your Arete, whichever comes first."

Plax pages: "Okay, 3 into Duration, 7 into Strength."

[OOC] Typheous says, "Just let me know when communication is cut. Not that he's going to say anything to her, but when the link's gone, he's going to get more antsy."

[OOC] Psyche was planning on leaving within a couple of hours. She'd wait to cut the link until just before they left most likely.

Plax nods. "Okay. The ward is up. I've blocked us from Correspondence and Time scrying. I'd rather he not listen in on us, after all".

Psyche pages: "I assume I can modify the Withdraw rote to block the link completely?"

Psyche has received your page: "Yes."

Valyros says, "Oh, I'm sorry about that. Good thinking Plax."

Typheous breathes deeply. "So what do we do?" His music is muted, as if trying to hide the plotting as well.

Valyros says, "Well where is Caine holed up now in here?"

(remotely) Psyche nods. Will you make me roll for that, or do you want to say for the sake of story that I get it working?

Plax says, "The trick, of course, is to not make ourselves into criminals. Now, he knows very little about Spirit magic. If I knew more about that sphere, I'd have been able to escape from his capture within about two minutes of being caught."

Psyche has received your page: "I'll go with the story. You'd continue until it was effective anyway."

Plax says, "Remember how we couldn't pick up mages with our scans? I've a feeling he's blocked out of being scanned for, at least with Time magic."

Valyros says, "So, we sneak up to him through the Umbra and strike from there?"

Typheous nods slowly. "Even if we become criminals, he needs to be stopped. But how to... What did we find at your parents' place Plax? anything?"

Plax replies, "Provided he doesn't have another mage warding them. And nothing that can be used as eviden..". He pauses. "Wait. Magic dies when the person who wielded it dies. That means his Time Wards will go down. Which means I can prove what he did with some simple Time Magic".

(remotely) Psyche noddles.

Typheous smiles darkly, almost viciously. "We just have to hope he really is responsible. And reardless, we can find your family Plax, if something horrible hasn't happened and they will tell the story." His music picks up on that viciousness, just slightly.

Valyros says, "If that fails, I might be able to try and find Caine's brother, although I don't know if I can reach out to the land of the dead without the Euthanos sphere, but I can try."

Plax says, "He's already claimed to have killed my father, so I don't imagine my mother was spared. First rule of politics. Don't leave your rivals alive."

Typheous scowls. "Then how are we going to show what happened to everyone in the village? Or do you have a way to show them all what happened?"

Plax says, "Time Magic lets you look back in time. Forward as well. And there are ways of displaying it. Difficult, but doable."

Typheous nods slowly. "So how do we get him...."

Valyros says, "If need be we can either lure him in, or I could take you into the Umbra where we prepare, come out of nowhere and assult him."

Typheous paces for a few moments, and then glances to Valyros. "Could.... could you force him to join us in the Umbra?"

Valyros says, "It'll be difficult, but yes. I can take other people into and out of the Umbra as I see fit."

Typheous considers for afew moments longer. "And he'd be isolated there? Assuming that the other mage-Knights weren't able to join us?"

Valyros says, "Well there are few mage Knights, and I doubt many of them would be adepts in Spirit."

Typheous quirks his eyebrow. "So we pull him there with us, he won't be able to go back until we're done with him and very few of his followers will be able to come join him." His music seems to grow a bit more vicious and a bit more triumphant.

Plax has lost his link.

Plax has connected.

Plax says, "And it's more difficult for a Knight to use magic, I can attest to that."

[OOC] Plax mumbles.

[OOC] Psyche says, "Mage Knights! :)"

[OOC] Eclipse thwaps.

Valyros says, "So this is the plan?"

Valyros says, "We all go in the Umbra, I pull him in, you keep him distracted for a few minutes while I take down his regenerative abilities, then we procede to shreed him into dog food?"

[OOC] Rade wakes

Typheous's smile does turn openly vicious at that. "Sounds like as good of an idea as we're going to get."

[OOC] Valyros says, "Hey, just in time, we just got our stories straight and almost ready to party."

Typheous pages: "Meant to ask before we started. Can I blow 8 xp to get Str 3? :) I'm tired of panzy damage."

[OOC] Psyche pouncerolls Rade.

[OOC] Rade squeeks!

Plax says, "I don't have any better ideas."

Typheous has received your page: "Sure."

[OOC] Rade says, "ahh, so we're going with the old 'Drag em to an extra-dimension and beat the crap of of em' ruse?"

[OOC] Plax says, "Yup. Works like a charm."

[OOC] You say, "That's how it seems to be shaping up. He can't talk you down *four* times in a *row*, can he?"

[OOC] Plax says, "Let me see. Plax knows that he'll end his life as a vampire with Caine dead. Umm, no."

Rade, who has been quite most of this time since she's not really the warrior type, chews on her bottom lip lightly. "How long will it take you to do that?"

Valyros says, "To actually pull him in or to kill him?"

Rade winces slightly at the word kill, eyes drooping slightly. "Both."

Valyros says, "To pull him in, probably a minute, or less. To actually kill him, I don't know, he'll be a tough bastard to take down.."

Rade nods quitely, looking between people. "What will his knights be doing until then?"

Typheous scowls darkly. "Hopefully not too long as we will be expecting it and he won't."

Rade shakes her head. "Will they try to hurt anyone while we're fighting him?"

Plax says, "Or, more importantly, after we fight him?"

Typheous frowns, his music darkening. "They won't be able to hurt many, and I'd think they'd be confused for long enough to kill him."

Psyche has received your page: "How long will you be here tonight? I feel kind of bad that I've basically been ignoring you tonight, since this conversation looks like it might take quite a while and requires minimal participation on my part."

Rade shakes her head. "Many...innocent people. We won't be here to protect them."

Psyche pages: "Probably not terribly long; I'm working on some stuff for the hospital but I'd be up for a little more BB if you wanted to do it."

Plax nods. "The problem is that those loyal to him probably joined his program out of thinking it was a good idea. How are they going to react to him being killed?"

Typheous frowns. "Yes, but I don't think most of the Knights are going to beserk when they find they don't need to kill people to live anymore."

Plax shakes his head. "You don't need to kill people to live. Just find a source of Quintessence".

(remotely) Psyche may be around for up to an hour yet, I took a nap this aft.

Valyros says, "And at least beserk ex-Knights have a chance against the villagers, but not much of one."

Plax says, "I'm not concerned about the numbers approaching. Those are most likely not mages. I don't think they found 400 mages to turn into vampires. They're probably normal people. I'm worried about the 24 or so others he has with him here."

Psyche has received your page: "Hmm... Just a little bit, then. I want to get you in position for the next plot twist these folks're going to get..."

[OOC] You say, "Especially since you only foresaw 10-20 of those 24?"

Psyche pages: "Sounds good."

[OOC] Plax says, "Point..."

Plax says, "Given I could see something like 10 or 20 of them, at least 4 are mages knights. What are their loyalties? What will they do when Caine is gone? Will they turn on us? Join us?"

Typheous's music darkens. "But after Caine's dead, they will be normal again. And we don't have to appear anywhere near there, do we? And who's to know we did it?"

(remotely) Psyche was going to pack her things, make sure her knife is sharp, and settle down in her room to say goodbye to Typheous briefly (tell me when that will come in, if it does while I'm still around) before cutting off the link, taking a few moments to settle herself, and going out to meet Mer.

Plax says, "They're Mages, Typheous. I can look back in time. They might be able to. And they may have joined Caine because they truely believed that He Was Right."

Typheous quirks his eyebrow. "And how many will have both Time and Spirit? Or is there some other way to look at past deeds in the Umbra?"

Valyros says, "Well his Right is about to get everybody killed. I say, we explain exactly what went on if they find out, deal with them if they're still sore. I don't know about you, but the sooner Caine is dead, the better off everybody will be."

Psyche has received your page: "(Hopefully, they'll edit in a bit of downtime between now and hunting down Caine. I'll let the two of you BB that separately. From past experience, I'm not guessing this debate is going to last less than an hour... *smirk*"

Typheous nods in agreement. "Then when? Now? Or do we wait for the Knights to deal with the Fae. Which will only bring more Fae later."

Psyche has received your page: "(We'll FF to your departure from Wyzdin, then.)"

Plax says, "We're trying to keep the bloodshed to a minimum, right? That would mean we act soon."

Valyros says, "I would think that now would be as good a time as any. But if the Knights kill the first line of Fae, would they not know about it and send reinforcements? If we stop him now, they will know the Knights are no more and the threat is dead."

Psyche has received your page: "Cutting across open country, I assume?"

Typheous nods, his music sounding more prepare for battle-ish by the moment. "Then is there anything we need to do before we go?"

Psyche pages: "Yes."

Plax shakes his head. "I'm ready".

Valyros says, "Do need any other weaponry, other than that, I'm ready."

Plax says, "Only thing I wish I had was a new sai, but that's life. Bastard troll broke mine."

Typheous shakes his head. "My blades should be good enough as is. They're heavily enough enchanted as well."

Plax glances about. "Then are we all ready?"

Valyros takes out her book, "I'm ready when you are."

Typheous glances to Rade. "You need anything before we go?"

Psyche has received your page: "Despite the dark, you make decent time going west toward Theusleh. The lands out here beyond the road are desolate, reminding you how few people actually live within the entire bubble of Order."

[OOC] Typheous pokes Rade.

Psyche has received your page: "Mereke follows in silence, sighing heavily when you are finally away from the academy."

(remotely) Psyche watches out for people, noting the land, taking in the journey, and mostly trying to pretend she's not going someplace with a girl who wants to kill her, to sacrifice said girl for the good of the world. It's not the sacrificing so much as it is the unwilling part that bothers her. "What is it, Mer?" she asks as Mereke sighs.

Psyche has received your page: "Mereke, "It just feels good to leave it all behind. It was easier when the Masters and other mages left, but the place reaks of power. You can't imagine how hard it was not to kill more of them just to stop that feeling.""

[OOC] Plax watches the silence.

[OOC] Valyros pokes Rade as well.

[OOC] Valyros says, "Keep going as well?"

[OOC] Eclipse breaks out the bullhorn.

Plax waits. "Well, I guess now is as good a time as any". He looks to Val.

[OOC] Typheous says, "Have one that reaches Japan? And we'll assume she says she's ready. :)"

Valyros says, "Alright, here we go."

[OOC] You say, "And if not, I don't see why we can't back-edit minor things."

Typheous looks to Val as well, his music obviously ready to go. "May the gods protect us."

Valyros starts channeling the spiritual energy around herself and the others, drawing them into the Umbra.

[Roll]: Valyros rolled Arete (4d10): 2, 7, 1, 6 ** 1 success (diff 5) **

[Roll]: Valyros rolled Arete (4d10): 3, 3, 9, 2 ** 1 success (diff 5) **

[Roll]: Valyros rolled Arete (4d10): 9, 8, 9, 2 ** 3 successes (diff 5) **

[Roll]: Valyros rolled Arete (4d10): 8, 3, 4, 2 ** 1 success (diff 5) **

[Roll]: Valyros rolled Arete (4d10): 5, 10, 1, 8 ** 2 successes (diff 5) **

[OOC] Valyros says, "8 should do it."

Eclipse [to Valyros]: Penumbra, I assume?

(remotely) Psyche tenses. "Oh." She returns to her path, marking her steps and mentally counting them to track the miles and their pace. She won't say a word to Mer unless there's a reason. Like 'Stop for lunch?' or 'We should rest.'

[OOC] Valyros says, "Yep."

[OOC] You say, "Okay. I have a possible Continuity Crisis, here. I need either a delay of about an hour or a one-hour window sometime before dawn in order to resolve it."

[OOC] Typheous says, "Hm? Need to get Mer and Psyche away be fore we gack Caine?"

[OOC] You say, "That would definitely be nice, yah..."

[OOC] Plax says, "Time flows differently in the Umbra?"

[OOC] Valyros says, "That sounds like a good one, or you could just say fighting Caine just took longer."

[OOC] Psyche says, "Time flows differently in the Umbra."

[OOC] You say, "It will eliminate any Psyche/Typh farewells, but I could probably rule that they can't speak across the Gauntlet, unless one of them has Spirit? In any case, I think I can manage, if Psyche and Typh don't mind not having time to say farewell. The situation is tense, after all."

[OOC] Typheous says, "that's easiest. Or we have an orgy when we get there to kill time."

Psyche has received your page: "Mereke, "You know what Caine is doing in Wyzdin, don't you?""

[OOC] Typheous Was assuming they already said it, as he doesn't want to keep Mer/Psyche here any longer than necessary.

[OOC] You say, "Okay. That works, too. We'll make it be that way."

Valyros brings everybody into the Umbra, "Ah, it's good to be back..."

Typheous glances around, eyeing everyting warily.

[OOC] Psyche has spirit :P

[OOC] Psyche says, "They said goodbye mostly before she went to find "

[OOC] Psyche says, "Mer, I would assume."

You say, "All signs of sentient life fade around you, replaced by the woods that were before Wyzdin was. The night is bitterly cold, and the Penumbra seems even colder."

Plax looks around as well, as he doesn't really go in the Spirit World all the time.

[OOC] Typheous nodsnods. And I was assuming they wouldn't be back.

[OOC] Eclipse nods.

Valyros says, "Plax, do you still have that rote to find Caine where ever he is?"

Typheous shivers in the cold, still wary, watching for anything suspicious. "Well, we should be going. Damn it's cold."

Plax looks to Valyros. "Lead on". He pauses. "No, he wasn't showing up on scans, remember?"

[OOC] Typheous says, "Oh, word of warning, I need to pick up a friend from work at 9:30. Should take no more than 30 minutes."

Valyros nods and starts to lead them out into the village looking for Caine and his minions.

Plax lemmings.

Typheous will follow, watching everything as if the trees were all Caine. His music is tense and paranoid.

[OOC] You say, "Everyone remember how magic works in the Spirit worlds? Details are on the web page under Spirit. The short version, though, is Spheres have the usual effect as long as you're both on the same side of the Gauntlet or enhance another Sphere with Spirit. It's like Time or Cor that way."

[OOC] Typheous nodsnods. So they'll work fine when we get him here, right?

[OOC] You say, "Correct, but so will his. Consider yourselves warned."

You say, "No sign of intelligent life. No roads. No farms. No lights of the town. Just silent darkness, trees, and snow. (Guessing the distance, or is someone planning to use magic to orienteer?)"

[OOC] Plax says, "Given my Spirit 1 suckiness, umm..."

Typheous frowns looking around. "Where do we think he will be?"

[OOC] Typheous notes his lack of Spirit. :p

Valyros looks out of the Umbra, to orient themselves.

[Roll]: Valyros rolled Arete (4d10): 7, 9, 8, 9 ** 4 successes (diff 4) **

Valyros has received your page: "You make your way north along the road to Wyzdin. There are a curiously large number of Knights patrolling the streets. You count at least 30 different ones."

Valyros whispers to the others, "We're going through Wyzdin, most of the Knights are patrolling the town."

Psyche has received your page: "Mereke, "He's doing what any mage would do in his situation - cheating. Do you really think he would fight an army of rogue Knights with his mere handful when he can easily create more Knights?""

Valyros continues looking for Caine.

Typheous scowls. "Where is the Town Hall. He's likely to be there."

Valyros continues to guide them to the Town Hall.

Valyros has received your page: "Town hall is packed with a mix of refugees and townsfolk who are listening to one of the Knights explaining the process and benefits of being a Knight. You hear the word 'duty' an awful lot."

[OOC] Psyche says, "What grade would a 12-year-old be in?"

[OOC] Typheous says, "6?"

Valyros has received your page: "There is no sign of Caine, however."

(remotely) Psyche blinks, turning slightly. "Whereas a non-mage would always play fairly? He's doing what any goddamned megalomaniacal asshole would do in his situation. Get your story straight. How do you know that, and what is he doing?"

Valyros growls when they reach the Town hall. "He's not here, but his knights are already trying to get more converts.

Psyche has received your page: "Mereke, "I remembered the faces of the vampires who came to Wyzdin with him, and the one I killed earlier tonight wasn't familiar. Either Caine is raising an army, or his last, loyal vampires are traitors, too.""

Typheous scowls darkly. "Where would he be? Is there anyway around his wards? Could we see him on this side somehow?" (There any spirits around to chat with?)

Plax thinks. "He's probably at the academy".

Valyros says, "Then we shall go there next."

Typheous follows along. :)

Valyros leads them over to the academy.

(remotely) Psyche nods calmly, turning around to keep walking. "If I start thinking about them, I'll want to go back and help, despite knowing there's nothing I can do there." She's talking to herself, more than to Mer. "I have my part in this, and the cabal has theirs. When they kill him, his magic dies with him."

You say, "(There is a spirit of Duty feeding off the ambient energies in the room, but town hall isn't a very popular site for most spirits.)"

Plax follows along.

Typheous will keep an eye out for possibly helpful spirits along the way.

[OOC] Psyche says, "Okay, I don't have to get up until 3:30-3:45 tomorrow, and I had a two -hour nap earlier. Think I'll stay up a bit."

[OOC] Typheous pokes. As long as you won't be too tired. :)

[OOC] Valyros says, "I can keep going."

Psyche has received your page: "Mereke says nothing more until afternoon (I'm assuming you sleep and eat as normal), which is when you sight Theusleh. The walls are intact, but the gate hangs open, and it appears that it and the gatehouse - the entire city wall, in fact - is slowly snaking around the city, giving the gate the appearance of an orbiting satellite, at which point Mereke says, "*That's* certainly something you don't see every day...""

Valyros has received your page: "You return to the academy a little bit before midnight. It appears almost exactly the way you left it."

Valyros looks through every nook and cranny to find Caine.

You say, "The fountain park looks more or less the same as it does in the physical world."

[OOC] Typheous says, "Hey, it might take 2 hours to -find- Caine. ;)"

Valyros pages: "(I wish you had MSN :P)"

[OOC] You say, "He's got Cor 4. It might..."

Typheous frowns. "Where else could he be...."

Valyros has received your page: "If he is at the academy, he is well-hidden. (Any particular reason?)"

(remotely) Psyche stops, studying the gatehouse and wall. "For once, I have to agree with you..."

Valyros pages: "(So I can send you the Star Wars rules.)"

[OOC] Psyche pats Typh.

Valyros growls, "I don't know. Could he be on the field to try and get the battle plan ready? But we need to hury, it's approaching midnight."

Plax says, "Unfortunately, I can't do anything in terms of scanning, not from here. I don't know that he'd show up on a scan, either."

Typheous sighs softly. "How can we find him..."

Valyros has received your page: "(*shrug* Tyson's running d20 SW, though. Beth has that one, too, and the SW game she's in is West End. I can certainly borrow the book from her next weekend. Tyson mention the kind of character I might end up running? I should probably break down and get MSN.)"

Valyros says, "I can only do some light Life scanning, but with his wards up, I don't know, and it's rather short range."

Typheous frowns. "Is there nothing on this side of things that would let us find him? No sort of imprint?"

Valyros starts chanting, trying to find some sort of spirital life imprint of Caine somewhere.

[Roll]: Valyros rolled Arete (4d10): 1, 9, 3, 1 ** 0 successes (diff 4) **

*** Scourge die is a 1: Backlash Triggered ***

[Roll]: Valyros rolled Arete (4d10): 4, 8, 3, 8 ** 3 successes (diff 4) **

[Roll]: Valyros rolled Arete (4d10): 3, 4, 6, 7 ** 3 successes (diff 4) **

Valyros has received your page: "Caine isn't in the vicinity of the academy, but you sense his aura thick in the town, though it's hard to tell much, at this point. A familiar voice speaks from behind you, "You got a nice ass, chocalate rabbit. Want to make like bunnies, slut bitch?" It could only be Grus."

[OOC] You say, "Much at this DISTANCE, even..."

Valyros says, "He's back in town."

Plax nods. "Let's go".

Valyros turns around and points behind her, "We have no time for your smart ass remarks, we have to save reality, so go drop dead!"

Valyros goes off to town.

Typheous scowls at the nothing and follows.

Plax follows.

Valyros has received your page: "The voice continues to come from directly behind you. "Save reality, eh? Reality can wait on a quick shag, I'm sure. Of course, I'm surprised you want to save reality. If I were as ugly as you are, I'd let reality end just to bring an end to my miserable existance.""

Valyros keeps looking for Caine.

[OOC] Rade sorries :(

Valyros has received your page: "Now that you're actually in town, you recognize that Caine's aura is thick because there are now about 1,000 Knights here, and his aura has bled into them through the association of his magic with them."

Valyros grits her teeth trying to ignore the annoying little thing, the temprature increasing about her in anger.

Valyros says, "Oh shit, he's converted most of the town!"

[OOC] Rade says, "ohh...that isn't good."

Plax says, "Well, when we kill him, they'll revert back."

Valyros continues looking for Caine.

Typheous takes a deep breath, hands reaching instictively to his blades. "Then we better hurry."

Rade nods in slow agreement, fidgiting quietly.

Valyros has received your page: "Grus, "Hey, ugly, that living dead chick is pretty hot. Why don't you bring some of that action my way, biatch?""

Psyche has received your page: "(How are you dealing with this unique circumstance?)"

[OOC] Valyros says, "Just show us the way to Caine already!!!!!"

(remotely) Psyche is trying to decide whether it's safe to go through a gate, or if it would be best to take the back way. I see no need to scan and see if it's magical, and I forget what it takes to pick up resonance.

Valyros has received your page: "The townspeople are clearly terrified. Caine's Knights are freshening up for the next morning's battle, mostly at the expense of those who made the mistake raising their voices in protest."

Valyros pages: "Does it get us closer to Caine?"

Plax pages: "(What level of Spirit does it take to use magic through the Umbra?)"

Plax has received your page: "It's like Cor - the same level as the highest Sphere you're using."

(remotely) Plax dangs. "Can't do a thing here then, as I need Corr 2, but have Spirit 1".

Valyros has received your page: "Eventually, you manage to pick out his psychic trail at the northern edge of the town, heading north."

[OOC] Valyros is tired of beating around the bush. I want to DO something!

Valyros says, "He's at the edge of town, follow me."

[OOC] Rade pats Val.

Valyros runs off to the north.

Typheous follows, hands on his swords.

[OOC] Typheous says, "Of course, right when I need to go for a few minutes. :p"

Plax continues following.

Rade follows toward the back of the path.

[OOC] Rade says, "err..path = pack"

[OOC] Valyros says, "Sorry, got into a big argument with my sister essentially saying she doesn't give a damn about us and goes to spend the night at their frineds than spend time with her family."

[OOC] Valyros says, "I need some therapy. I need to kill something."

[OOC] Typheous nodsndos. I'm just going to vanish in like 5-10 for a few.

[OOC] Typheous says, "And I don't want to have to put combat on pause. ;)"

Psyche has received your page: "Mind 1."

[OOC] Psyche says, "With the way combat goes around here, you can probably take your turn and be back before your next init pass."

(remotely) Psyche will scan for resonance then.

[OOC] Rade laughs

[OOC] Typheous chuckles.

[OOC] Valyros snickers.

Psyche pages: "How many of my two previous effects are still active? I don't htink I had less than 4 succ in duration on any of them."

Valyros has received your page: "You eventually see a group of about 20 Knights digging a moat and setting up a spear wall. They are moving at impossible speeds. Caine appears to be directing them from a battle plan map in his hands."

Valyros points at a shadow, "There he is. He's over seeing several Knights digging a trench. He seems to have enchanted them to move a lot faster than normal.

Psyche has received your page: "Both of them, then."

Plax nods. "His Time magic, no doubt".

Valyros has received your page: "He is clearly completely unaware of your presence."

Valyros says, "Alright, I'll start bringing him over. Plax, stand over here, Typheous, Rade, right in front of me. I'll bring him over. Be ready, he doesn't know that we're here but he might strike out of panic."

(remotely) Psyche tugs the crystal on its chain from her shirt, letting it spin, focussing through it on the moving walls. "The question is...who did this...and why? Every maker leaves a mark.." She's speaking under her breath as usual. (Diff 4 -1 for focus, +1 for 3 standing effects, right?)

From Psyche: [Private Roll]: Psyche rolled Arete (4d10): 5, 10, 10, 6 ** 4 successes (diff 4) **

[OOC] Psyche dances!

[OOC] Plax checks. "Do we want to wait for Typh to return for potential combat?" *knows he has to leave in a few*

[OOC] You say, "Not even a Backlash. I'm disappointed. I had the cats all ready to go, too..."

Typheous nods,. his music dark, ready for combat. "I'll be ready for him." He draws his blades, watching carefully where Caine is to appear.

[OOC] Typheous needs to poof now...

[OOC] Psyche says, "And two 10's :)"

Plax moves to his appointed area, drawing his own sword.

[OOC] Typheous will be back in like 20 mins. Maybe more, depends on if she's ready to go when I get there.

[OOC] Psyche should go to bed... :(

[OOC] Plax hurts the nasty RL committments Psyche has, keeping her from the game. :(

Psyche has received your page: "The Resonance is one you've never seen before. The closest you can come up with is Dynamic (Flux)."

[OOC] Psyche kicks all the pedisurg patients out of the hospital, including the one who looks like aGary LArson baby.

[OOC] Plax grins.

(remotely) Psyche sighs, shaking her head. "Not familiar. No help there." She glances to see how Mer is taking it.

Psyche has received your page: "She's fidgeting with her knives again."

[OOC] You say, "Make sure that bellybutton is tied tight. See you later, Psyche."

[OOC] Rade grins

[OOC] Rade wavels at Psyche

[OOC] Valyros says, "Pause?"

[OOC] Valyros says, "Bye..."

[OOC] Typheous idles. Don't kill him without me.

[OOC] Rade says, "we waiting on ty for a min"

[OOC] You say, "Up to you three, then. Want to hold off until Typh gets back?"

[OOC] Psyche nods, passes out hugs, goes to take a shower before bed, as it is now or at 3:30 AM. You don't need to pause for me, Val, I'm on a different schedule. But Typheous...

[OOC] Plax thinks we should. Typheous is the best with sharp, pokey things.

[OOC] Rade says, "mmmhmm"

[OOC] Valyros says, "Yea."

[OOC] Rade ughs. "Sorry for being all tired."

[OOC] Plax is exhausted tonight, too. Don't worry about it.

Valyros pages: "What were you thinking for Tyson's game?"

Valyros has received your page: "I thought, since he's doing a cross between Cowboy Bebop and Star Wars, I might play a pilot/technician droid with a few loose screws that give him a tendency toward narcolepsy and kleptomania... How much more down on your luck can you be than to have a droid that falls asleep at awkward moments for your pilot?"

Valyros pages: "A droid? Eh, don't know about that..."

Valyros pages: "Two out of three Star Wars horror stories I've heard involved a droid PC. One that made a technician/assasin droid that just kept grafting stuff to himself, another about a guy who had an energy based race that had to inhabit droids to interact with the universe, and he got ungodly advantages for that."

Valyros has received your page: "You know how it goes. I go hard and obnoxious with it the first session - just to get the character across - and then ease up on the team-killing. He'll still be quirky, but no, I'm not going to be a sleep-walking kender. It's just that whenever he fails certain checks, the loose screws get blamed, not the droid's competancy. Like, if he fails to repair something, it's likely he almost-unknowingly pocketed a few of the shinier diodes."

[OOC] Typheous chuckles I'm back.

[OOC] You say, "Game on!"

Valyros takes out her spirit book and starts to chant, calling forth Caine into her world.

[OOC] You say, "Hm, can a pseudo-vampire soak agg? No."

[OOC] Typheous says, "Vamps can only soak with Fort ;)"

[OOC] Rade grins

[OOC] Plax thinks he just ticked Caine off. :)

You say, "The blade passes through his body, severing both legs and leaving him lying on the ground. "Wait! Kill me, and Psyche will die. My magic keeps the wraiths at bay.""

Eclipse [to Valyros]: Go.

[Roll]: Valyros rolled Arete (4d10): 10, 5, 2, 2 ** 2 successes (diff 5) **

[OOC] Valyros says, "Anti-regen rote."

[OOC] You say, "Gathering, I trust, since 2 sucs will just cover target and duration?"

[OOC] Valyros says, "Yep."

Eclipse [to Typheous]: Go.

Typheous slashes at Caine with his rapier. "Your blood-sucking days are over, Caine."

[Roll]: Eclipse rolled dice (1d10): 6 ** 0 successes (diff 9) **

[OOC] You say, "He's only Crippled, after all..."

[OOC] Plax wanted to strike the deathblow...but I got the leg-chopping blow, so it's all good.

[OOC] Rade says, "mmm"

[OOC] Typheous says, "Args... Loses the rapier diff..."

[OOC] Rade nods at Plax. "Dismembering is always good."

[OOC] Typheous says, "Diif... 7? I think?"

[OOC] Plax says, "Just for using a rapier, the site says 5, but with fencing, it's usually in the 7's."

[Roll]: Typheous rolled 12d6: 6, 5, 2, 1, 6, 3, 6, 6, 3, 4, 2, 6; totalling 50.

[OOC] Typheous eyes... Let's try that again

[Roll]: Typheous rolled dice (12d10): 4, 4, 3, 4, 5, 8, 5, 3, 10, 7, 10, 1 ** 3 successes (diff 7) **

[OOC] Typheous says, "Base damgage is 3 agg."

You say, "The blade pierces his lung, and his voice ceases, his body going still."

Eclipse [to Rade]: Go.

[OOC] Rade says, "...."

[OOC] Typheous says, "Hmmmm... I just noticed I missed that line about Psyche and the wraiths."

[OOC] Eclipse facepalms.

Rade stares wide eyed, it all happened so fast. She walks up next to the apparently 'dead' Caine and starts to kneel. "Was...was what he said true?"

[OOC] Typheous does likewise....

[OOC] Rade pats Typheous. :)

Valyros would answer, but is busy chanting.

[OOC] Rade says, "You killed her!"

[OOC] Typheous says, "The problem is Typh wouldn't believe Caine if he told him that he had one eye right now."

[OOC] Typheous says, "And besides, the Fae said it was Mer that would keep her safe ;)"

[OOC] Typheous says, "I think."

Plax looks at Rade. "He isn't a strong enough Spirit Mage," Plax says, though he looks at himself, then at Caine, wondering why he hasn't undergone any change. He then starts doing a few hand gestures.

[OOC] Psyche says, "So it registers now that Caine's dead, what he said, and T gets to get all freaky."

[OOC] Typheous grins.

[OOC] Rade pokes Psyche. "Shouldn't you be in bed?"

Plax pages: "(Attempting to determine if there are any effects on Caine and, if so, dispel them, such as a Time-based return rote)"

[OOC] Psyche just got out of the shower. Oooh, thanks for reminding me to turn my alarm on,.

Typheous stares down, daggers in his eyes, catching his breath, his blade still in Caie's chest. "What else could he be doing to keep her safe..."

You say, "Caine's body soaks into the ground, and Caine springs from the ground a hundred yards away, seemingly unharmed. "Come now, you didn't think you could take a Master down so easily, did you?""

[OOC] Rade says, "..."

[OOC] Plax says, "Knew it. Time-based Regen rote."

Caine, "You don't listen very carefully, do you? I told you - Psyche will die if she enters the Chamber of Portals after I have been slain."

[OOC] Valyros says, "Mind telling Valyros this so she can stop her anti-life regen rote?"

Eclipse [to Plax]: Go.

Rade blinks, staring wide eyed at the spot Caine's body used to be, her head snapping around to look at him. She starts to get back to her feet. "What...?"

Plax looks at Caine. "Right. I find that hard to believe, given your lack of strength in Spirit, Caine. If I'd been slightly stronger in that sphere, I'd have escaped from you long ago".

Typheous eyes Caine warily. "And why should we believe you? What is your proof you're not twisting your words?" His music is enraged/

[OOC] Plax says, "Holding action"

Eclipse [to Valyros]: Go.

Valyros continues casting her rote.

[Roll]: Valyros rolled Arete (4d10): 10, 4, 4, 10 ** 2 successes (diff 5) **

[OOC] Valyros says, "Still going."

Caine, "Would you betray her as you have betrayed me, Typheous? You realize, of course, that you have just made an attempt on the life of an ally, don't you?"

Eclipse [to Rade]: Go.

[OOC] Rade says, "man, Caine fights dirty"

[OOC] You say, "Yes. Yes, he does..."

[OOC] Rade holds.

[OOC] Typheous says, "And this is suppose to make him look better in Typh's eyes? ;)"

Rade glances amongst her collueges, eyes uncertain. "Why will she die?"

Plax says, "He's bluffing. That's why he doesn't respond to me, Rade."

You say, "Caine drums his fingers against his cheek."

[Private Roll]: Eclipse rolled dice (6d10): 3, 2, 9, 4, 1, 3 ** 0 successes (diff 6) **

From Eclipse: [Private Roll]: Eclipse rolled dice (6d10): 3, 2, 9, 4, 1, 3 ** 0 successes (diff 6) **

[OOC] Plax says, "Can I take my held action, Z?"

Caine, "She will die, because I do, in fact, have some small knowledge of Spirit - enough to ward, say, a large room against the predations of the wraiths."

Eclipse [to Plax]: "Yes."

Plax pages: "(Entropy 1, Ring of Truth on Caine)"

[OOC] Eclipse laughs.

Plax has received your page: "You know the drill..."

Valyros would comment but is too busy chanting.

Plax glances briefly at a feather in his belt.

[Roll]: Plax rolled Arete (3d10): 4, 3, 5 ** 2 successes (diff 4) **

Plax pages: "(I getting any spikes of Order from him?)"

Plax has received your page: "Nope. It's a bald-faced lie, or he's warded himself against Entropy perceptions."

Eclipse [to Valyros]: Go.

Valyros continues casting the rote.

[Roll]: Valyros rolled Arete (4d10): 7, 9, 2, 10 ** 3 successes (diff 5) **

Plax shrugs. "You lie, Caine".

[OOC] Valyros says, "Letting the bad boy out."

You say, "Caine stiffens as he feels the magic touch him."

Eclipse [to Typheous]: Go.

Valyros screams a final word of power, thrusting her hand out at Caine, mana arching across her arm..

[OOC] Plax hugs Entropy.

[OOC] Eclipse was wondering when someone was going to start checking to see if Caine was lying...

[OOC] Plax is always afraid to use Perception Magics, alright? ;)

[OOC] Valyros says, "We already knew he was lying. "

[OOC] Plax just confirmed it.

[OOC] Psyche says, "Question 2: How does he know where Psyche is going, and how much does he know? :)"

[OOC] Plax says, "He probably either was spying on us or broke my Time ward."

[OOC] You say, "When did that ward go up? Pretty much everything you said up until that point. He *knew* you were a threat to him, so he was watching..."

[OOC] Plax figured.

[OOC] Plax knew he'd watch us anyway, and knew he'd come after us. I just wanted the /plan/ warded.

Typheous raises his blades, stepping forward. "An ally? You were a tool, Caine, nothing more. Simply the only option at the time to saving the town. And now, that tool has outlived its usefulness." He stays his action, ready to strike if Caine moves aggresively at all, if he can get close enough.

[OOC] Psyche says, "Never mind whether he's sent someone to stop Psyvhe :)"

[OOC] Typheous says, "Bah. You've got Mer with you to deal with that. ;)"

Eclipse [to Rade]: Go.

[OOC] Psyche so needs to go to bed. :P

[OOC] Plax snugs Psyche. "Then go sleep".

[OOC] You say, "Night, Psyche."

[OOC] Valyros says, "Night."

[OOC] Psyche nights here.

[OOC] Rade says, "ehh, still holding. :)"

[OOC] Typheous tuckes his Psyche into bed.

Rade's gaze still shifts uncertainly, waiting for someone else to take iniative.

[OOC] Plax watches everyone let me take the shot, and will gladly take it. :)

[OOC] Typheous says, "Go for it. Unless Caine does something stupid. ;)"

[OOC] Plax says, "He already did something stupid. He existed."

[OOC] Typheous says, "I mean as in attack me straight out. or anyone else. :)"

You say, "Caine slices open his finger and lets a drop fall to the ground."

[OOC] Typheous says, "Can I react to that? Or am I close enough?"

[OOC] You say, "WP. If there is any time to spend it..."

Plax pages: "(Am I recognizing any of these as his foci from my time as a captive?)"

[OOC] Eclipse points at the 100 yards thing...

[OOC] Plax points at his 200 yard archery range.

Plax has received your page: "(Cor)"

[Roll]: Eclipse rolled dice (6d10): 5, 10, 5, 10, 6, 6 ** 6 successes (diff 5) **

[OOC] Typheous hmms... Well, I said I was going to try to close the distance. :) Didn't get a "no you can't" thing.

[OOC] Plax says, "Can I make a shot at countering that, Z?"

[OOC] Typheous blows the wp then.

[OOC] Plax wants to use Anti-Magic, specifically. :)

[OOC] You say, "That first die was the Scourge die, so he has 6 successes. Everyone who has a held action (pretty much everyone but Val, iirc) and has at least Prime 1 - you can try to counter this with raw Quint. Roll your Arete (diff 7). For every success you get, it raises the diff of his spell by 1 if you spend 1 Quint per success (to a max of your Avatar rating). We'll be using Threshold rules if it breaks diff 9."

[OOC] Typheous says, "Have fun guys."

[OOC] You say, "That first die was the Scourge die, so he has 6 successes. [OOC] Plax says, "Woo! "

[OOC] Rade says, "hrm"

[OOC] Valyros says, "Go Plax!"

[OOC] Typheous says, "Well, that knocks him down to 2 succ. :)"

[OOC] You say, "That knocks him down to 3 successes, actually. Don't forget WP..."

[OOC] Plax says, "Does anyone else have Prime 1? *hopeful look*"

[OOC] Rade grins

[OOC] Rade pats. I do

[OOC] Typheous says, "Nope. Well, if we had Psyche here to hold my hand. ;)"

[OOC] Valyros says, "I got it, but don't have an action."

[OOC] Plax snickers. "Well, roll it, dangit!"

[Roll]: Rade rolled Arete (3d10): 10, 3, 7 [Spent 1 WP for a success] ** 3 successes (diff 7) **

[OOC] Plax watches Rade and I dominate the Prime 1.

[OOC] Rade high-fives Plax!

[OOC] Valyros says, "My little girl's growing up..."

[OOC] Valyros huggles Rade.

[Roll]: Psyche rolled Arete (4d10): 8, 5, 3, 10 ** 2 successes (diff 7) **

[OOC] Rade grins

[OOC] Psyche couldn't resist, dangit.

[OOC] Typheous says, "Too bad you're not there to help ;)"

[OOC] Psyche really truly does quit watching this screen, now, despite not being able to sleep.

[OOC] Typheous says, "And that's... down to... Umm... 2 succ? :)"

[OOC] Plax says, "At diff 5, we shot it up by 6..."

[OOC] Typheous says, "So Theshold of 2... so 1 succ."

You say, "Caine melts into the ground and emerges from it again approximately 100 yards farther away, looking frustrated. "Stop that.""

Eclipse [to Plax]: Go.

Plax hovers closer and lets loose with two arrows. "Keep him from getting away!"

[OOC] Typheous says, "Ow...."

[OOC] Plax says, "Base of 7L"

[OOC] Typheous says, "I don't think we're going to need to..."

[OOC] Plax says, "Do NOT mess with the Archery man."

You say, "He seems a bit surprised when the arrows go into each of his eyes. He'd be even more surprised not to be able to recover from it, but comatose people are generally immune to surprise..."

[OOC] Rade says, "dang man"

[OOC] Typheous grins.

[OOC] Valyros says, "You're the man Plax!"

[OOC] Plax sighs. "Cable modem is getting mean...last saw my OOC".

You say, "He seems a bit surprised when the arrows go into each of his eyes. He'd be even more surprised not to be able to recover from it, but comatose people are generally immune to surprise... (repost)"

Valyros has received your page: "Grus's voice, "So, going to have a rigor mortis salami ride?""

Plax goes over to him and starts attempting to dispel any time-magic on the body (though not the regen rote).

[OOC] Plax says, "And do I gain any WP for taking him down that fast? ;)"

[OOC] You say, "YES. That's a story, folks. Get all your WP back."

[OOC] Typheous says, "I fit matters, did we have to spend that wp earlier? :)"

[OOC] Plax cheers!

[OOC] Plax says, "End of session then?"

[OOC] Typheous says, "Since we need to wait and see what happens with Psyche and Mer? :)"

[OOC] You say, "Unless there's something more you want to do before we end. Story end doesn't have to be session end, necessarily, but this is definitely a good stopping point."

Valyros has received your page: "After that, the sense of having a talking head breathing on your neck fades."

[OOC] Valyros says, "Woot!"

[OOC] Valyros says, "Stupid gremlin!"

[OOC] Typheous says, "Well, most of what Typh wants to do now is figure out his relationships. :)"

[OOC] Valyros says, "And get Psyche back alive."

[OOC] Plax thinks it's a good spot, and it's near the usual stopping time, isn't it? *is a bit tired, to be honest*

[OOC] Rade nods

[OOC] Typheous nodsnods.

[OOC] Valyros just wants to make sure her people, and more importantly, her kids are alright.

[OOC] Rade just wants to frolic in the woods :)

[OOC] Valyros says, "I'm ready to call it a night."

[OOC] Eclipse grins. "Admit it, Joe. You like Grus. You wish he's follow the cabal around all the time... *smirk*

[OOC] Valyros says, "No, I don't."

[OOC] Valyros says, "I'm glad I banished him."

[OOC] Plax should shoot Grus. Just for fun.

[OOC] Typheous says, "I'd also like to know what happened to Masters."

[OOC] You say, "Which is why I made him your personalized manifestation of Madness..."

[OOC] Valyros says, "Although diety-hood would be a nice prize as well."

[OOC] Rade says, "and the other students :)"

[OOC] Rade says, "you have to listen to the bad guy talk, especially if they think they're winning, they'll reveal their whole plan for you :)"

[OOC] Typheous says, "Yeah, but he kept chaning his plan. :p"

[OOC] Plax says, "We kept making him change his plan. And I can't believe it took me until now to think, 'Gee...Entropy 1 would be useful right now'."

[OOC] Rade laughs

[OOC] Typheous pokes you. We would have killed him about 3 encounters ago. :p

[OOC] You say, "That and he wasn't revealing jack shit, half the time - just trying to convince you that letting him have his way was in your best interests..."

[OOC] Plax says, "2, actually. He was telling the truth (in a roundabout fashion) the first couple times."

[OOC] You say, "True."

[OOC] Plax says, "We'd have taken him out in the woods, but he'd have been hard to take out with all his Knights around."

[OOC] Plax got to flaunt that 200 yard range with his bow tonight, and all is good.

[OOC] You say, "Okay, so you admit it wasn't just his talking to you that forced you to stay your hand the other times, right?"

[OOC] Plax nods. "Attacking him with 24 other Knights around wouldn't have been the best plan, but it was the only plan we had".

[OOC] Typheous says, "Just our paranoia. :)"

[OOC] Valyros says, "Yea."

[OOC] You say, "That certainly helped."

[OOC] Valyros says, "Well, I think I need to head off to bed. Goodnight everybody!"

[OOC] Plax says, "Granted, Val and I probably could have killed a quarter of them with our bows and her anti-regen spell...but that'd leave 18 for Rade, Psyche, and Typh to fend off."

[OOC] Valyros says, "Yea, we kick ass."

Valyros has disconnected.

[OOC] Typheous says, "I think I could have parried about 6 of them and kept them busy. Maybe more."

[OOC] Typheous says, "If they were not blood-sucking."

[OOC] Plax nods. "It would be those attacking Rade and Psyche...and yeah, all Knights can Blood-Suck".

The resolution of Valyros fades. With a hiss of static their disconnected body implodes into a single point of light, then blinks out of existence.

[OOC] Typheous says, "Can and will are two different things."

[OOC] Plax says, "Given the diff, it's a high-risk, high-reward attack."

[OOC] Plax also thinks Rade and I got lucky with our Anti-Magic rolls. 1 more success and he's out of my range.

[OOC] You say, "You've gotta think, though, that it's not like he was going to really be able to get away from you. He was trapped on the far side of the Gauntlet with no way of getting home. That and spirits (including Halda) would have been able to track his ass down for you. He was down to 5 Quint from 20 after that encounter."

[OOC] Typheous grins. :)

[OOC] Plax nods. "And in the Spirit World, Plax isn't limited in tracking those things (couldn't track him in the real world due to only having Spirit 1). Catching him in the Spirit World though, that was probably the best way to take him out. Safest, I think".

[OOC] Rade would have died a horrible death :)

[OOC] Typheous says, "So, are we going to meet again next week?"

[OOC] Typheous says, "Since we have the ex-Knights to deal with"

[OOC] Rade mmms

[OOC] Rade says, "and random loose ends I imagine"

[OOC] You say, "Yep. Lots of loose ends to wrap up, even if the main villain is now dead. All those Knights un-Knighted, plus the Fae to deal with, since Psyche won't even reach Theusleh until afternoon..."

[OOC] Rade says, "eww, right, fae"

[OOC] Plax grins. "Well, given that according to Plax's predictions, the Fae won't arrive until evening, that's no-problem".

[OOC] Rade says, "yeah, but we should find a way to place ourselves in unnecessary danger"

[OOC] Plax will walk up to Lyka and say he got killed twice. That'll put him in unnecessary danger. :)

[OOC] Typheous says, "Sure, we'll get in the way of the Fae. :)"

[OOC] Rade says, "well...someone needs to tell them cane's dead :)"

[OOC] Typheous says, "And bring proof with us. :)"

[OOC] Plax grins. "I just know that Plax gets to finally let everything hit him now. There might be actual emotion from Plax next week (shocking, I know!)".

[OOC] Rade awwws. "No more vampirism for you." :)

[OOC] Plax will just be glad to get rid of that extra difficulty to magic, thankyouverymuch.

[OOC] Plax says, "Plus he got half a new body in the process, so it's all good."

[OOC] You say, "Yeah, that was probably partly to blame for all that Madness. Explains Malkavians, doesn't it? *smirk*"

[OOC] Rade grins. "But no more sucking on virgin girls necks...."

[OOC] Rade says, "Oh, wait, didn't get to do that didya? Man, being a vampire sucks :)"

[OOC] Plax says, "Plax, I think, used the bloodsucking 5 times at most. He won't miss it. ;)"

[OOC] Rade says, "all that extra quin!"

[OOC] Plax says, "Prime 3, same thing, lower diff."

[OOC] You say, "Well, not quite. They need to have non-Avatar Quint to suck it with Prime 3. You basically had Drink of Life at will, when it worked, of course..."

[OOC] Plax nods. "Diff 8 made it work rarely. It worked well, though, when it did. Plax just didn't opt to use it very often. The only useful thing, he found, in being a vampire was the regeneration. Everything else sucked. Though I've go to ask now, what would have happened if Plax didn't spend the Quint to avoid taking damage every morning?"

[OOC] Typheous says, "Most would agree what being a vampire sucks. ;)"

[OOC] Plax is, unfortunately, going to have to get going. "Night all, see you next week". *sleep-crashes*

Plax has disconnected.

[OOC] Rade might drift off to sleep randomly :)

[OOC] Rade ughs. "Just so you know, I'll probably be even more tired next week :)

[OOC] Rade says, "unless they're nice and end this crap early"

[OOC] Typheous chuckles. Probably not. :)

The resolution of Plax fades. With a hiss of static his disconnected body implodes into a single point of light, then blinks out of existence.

[OOC] Rade says, "heh, we'll see"

[OOC] Eclipse had almost forgotten how funny these Ab3 RP editorials are...

[OOC] Typheous chuckles.

[OOC] You say, "He's got some adorable RL essays there, now."
