Challenge of Champions IV
1. For Scenario 2:
My group broke the treasure chests into separte planks and then glues them up the wall to climb out. What was odd was that one of the members of the group wanted to glue together the gold coins and use them as rungs like you are supposed to, except another player convinced him not to, but to rather, use the planks of wood. (If you ask me the planks of wood makes more sense and takes a lot less time than gluing together all those gold coins.)
2. Scenario 3:
Here they just took a wild guess (they never understood the "ALLITERATION" hint) and happened to pick the right vial that had the spider climb spell in it. They also used some reasoning to eliminate the blue one since they thought of the blue as being like water.
Scenario 5:
We basically skipped this one since it is just like the windows "minesweeper" game and it turned out to be really boring to go through all those different moves.
Scenario 4:
Now for the REALLY funny one. This one had us going for a good few minutes. One of the characters happens to have a strength of 25 and, like in the World's Strongest Man competitions, he decided to attempt to THROW his teammates up onto the wall. He ended up missing and the character went flying into the wall, bounced off the wall, hit the totem pole, and landed on the ground. Did that stop him? No. HE picked him back up and tried to hurl him up the wall a second time only to fail again. They eventually figured it out, but if he had rolled better then I could have seen him tossing all the characters onto the wall, only problem would have been how to get him out of the pit.
