Lion Statue

This statue is one of the most famous and ancient of Iraqi culture. Some believe the lion, astride a man is a depiction of the story of Daniel and the Lions. Others believe the Lion represents the Hittite Nation of the Old Testament. Its age is estimated at 4000 years.

The Catacombs

Amazing sites to see, a palace, good food and a pool to cure the 120 degree heat. What more could a guy ask for. Babylon has it all.
