These verses are saying no matter how strong your faith is you still need to be careful so that you don't fall into temptation.It is also saying that God wont let Satan tempt you about something unless he knows that you can resist it. The Lord will also provide you with a way out when you are tempted, for example, at a party, if there is bee around and you are tempted, your way out is leaving the party.

For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
Hebrews 2:18
