Back Packs - LIFE TEEN and Jr. CYO are joining together to collect school supplies for underprivileged students at St. Pius and Holy Rosary schools. We will have bins in the entry way of the church through Aug. 10. We'll meet in the Parish Activity Center at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10, to pack the school supplies. Ms. Covert of Catholic Charities has invited us to deliver the supplies with her (date to be announced).

Invitational Kick-Off - Mr. Parks is heading up a committee to host a great, fun event for new and old members of LIFE TEEN. It's set for Saturday, Aug. 16 -- we can't wait to hear the details and we'll share them as soon as we get them!

Special Delivery - We've got to get past proms, finals, graduations, summer colds and Steubenville. We REALLY plan to deliver the 37 blankets we made for the children of Ronald McDonald House the last week in July. Stay tuned.

 

Note: Anyone driving for a Resurrection LIFE TEEN event must be approved by the Diocese of St. Augustine and Resurrection Parish. The approval process includes a personal and driving background check -- fingerprinting and a copy of your driver license. Resurrection's driving policy is that no one can be approved to drive other individuals for a parish-sponsored event without having a driver license for a full year. (New drivers can drive alone for a parish-sponsored event.)
