Your Name

When you were born you had nothing.
You were without food, shelter or identity.
Your first given gift was a name to last forever.
And you've never know yourself any other way.

As you grew, and became the person you are.
Your name became such a part of you it was like breathing.
In your mind you knew who you were, who you are, naturally.
Your signature became your bond because it was your name.

When our sons were born, the names we choose were so important.
We wanted strong names, names with power, names to last forever.
The first we named was after his father but he took the name and made it his.
The second we gave a name to grow into and to be proud of having and he did.

My first given names I treasure as I've matured to where I am.
I carry a grand heritage with me and pride have I to be known as me.
In my name I identify the people who came before me and who build my foundation.
These loving people who gave to me all they had that I could be the best I could be.

When you love your name, you will love yourself and find pride in who you are.
In that name is your past, your present and your future.
You are who you are and are known by your name.
Wear it with pride and try never to bring it shame.

Authors Note:
Your Name was written for me, for my sons, and for my friends. I now dedicate it to the submissive men I've met who are powerful men. To be submissive requires a great deal of courage ... one must know oneself and accept the 'you' inside.

To the submissive men I know and love, may you FLY and enjoy the flight!
