Serina was the Moon Princess in the Moon Kingdom durring the Silver Millenium.

The Dark Kingdom attacted the Moon Kingdom, but her highness, Queen Serenity, sacrificed herself and her Kingdom to save all that she loved.

She sent her daughter, Princess Serina and Prince Endymond (Darian) to live in modern day earth. Queen Serinity also sent Serina's Court, the salior scouts, including two cat advisers, to also live in present-day Earth. But if the need should arise the cats would be able to engage the Salior Scouts, lead by Salior Moon, in the fight againt evil.
