Let me introduce my self and explain my work. My name is Tim Foley. I became interested in Genealogy when my father, John, showed me a work comprised by Dr. Joseph Foley, my second cousin. It was The Foley Family History - a nice booklet with genealogical links dating from Miles Foley (DOB ~1820) who imigrated from Ireland to Hampton, NY with his family.
Dr. Joe did many interviews and had access to much research. I gradually researched families that married in to our gene pool and added my mother's (Stebbins-Blanchard)and wife's family (O'Connell-Keating). Everyday I search for relations, news, photos, and history and it has accumulated so far to a list of 2600 names. I haven't figured out the number of surnames yet. I also try to verify information I have obtained from others. In this site I will include copies (if not at least a bibliography) of my references such as obits, census images, SSDI files etc.
I hope to make this into a book and distribute via CD to those who wish to have the information.
