"Wow do you really own this place?" Jillian asked, taking in the lush surroundings.
" I'm part owner, yes." Sonny replied as the three of them made their way towards the front desk.
"Ah Mr. Corinthos what a pleasure to see you again. The key to your suite is right here and I'll have someone take the luggage."
"Wait a minute," Alexis began suspiciously, "did he say suite, as in singular?"
"Is there a problem sir I believe you said..."
"Oh I bet I can guess what he said."
"Alexis can I see you in private?" Sonny asked, though it was clearly a rhetorical question.
"You got a suite?" She accused as soon as they were out of hearing range.
"Yes, I got a suite, singular which contains three bedrooms, plural." Sonny explained with exaggerated patience. "It's the busiest time of the year Alexis, the hotel is booked but I do keep this suite reserved for myself.
"I see, obviously I jumped to the wrong conclusion." Alexis replied feeling horribly embarrassed.
Sonny smiled at her and before heading back to the desk whispered something in her ear. She wasn't certain but she could have sworn he said, "No you didn't."
She stood before him like a vision, the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He had never been in love before. Never known what it was to want a woman so much that you ached at the sight of her. He knew that feeling now. She was his love, now and always. He began to walk towards her and she caught sight of him. She smiled, nervously and continued to watch him approach. Then her face changed, she was scared of something. It was behind him but he couldn't see what it was. She turned and started to run, he ran after her. "Stop, please wait" he called. He was getting closer he could almost reach her now...
"Jax... Jax wake up the jet is about to land."
"What happened, where is she?"
"Who? You were dreaming Jax."
"Kristina?" Suddenly Jax became aware of where he was. "Yeah I guess it was a dream but it seemed so real."
"Who were you dreaming about?"
"Who?"
"You asked where she was, who is she?"
"I don't remember." It was a lie and they both knew it.
They had been in their suite for half an hour, Jillian was still in her room unpacking and also allowing Sonny and Alexis some time alone. Every few minutes she went to her door and listened to make sure they weren't arguing, so far things were going well.
"So are you happy you came? Sonny asked as Alexis sat on the sofa with her feet up looking more relaxed than he had seen her look in weeks.
" I didn't have a choice," she reminded him, "but yes I am glad," she said smiling.
"Does that mean you're going to stop giving me such a hard time?"
"I haven't..."
"Yes you have." Sonny interrupted before she could finish. "Its okay though because I know deep down inside you really do like me." Alexis laughed. Maybe it was the beautful surroundings or maybe the company but she was feeling very uninhibited.
"Yes Sonny deep down inside I do like you."
"Would you care to show me exactly how deep your affection for me goes?" Sonny asked grinning.
"Actually I would love to" Alexis answered surprising herself as much as him.
Sonny began to make his way towards her, the closer he came the faster her heart began to beat. He was going to kiss her, they both knew it. Every other time he had taken her by surprise but this time his approach was slow, agonizingly so. Just when Alexis was convinced it would never happen he reached for her hand and pulled her up towards him. They stood face to face, friends, equals, soul mates, their lips met and for both it was like finding home.
