Update 2/11/02 by PTsenior2000

Well, I've been told that I should make this site workable, but that sounds like a lot of work to me. I'm trying to fix all the broken links, old information, ect., but I don't know when I'll be done. I actually update my "about me" section! *Scratches head* *sweat drop* It's kinda embarrassing that I have let it go for so long. Especially since some of that writing was just freaky. Hopefully, I'll have this site cleaned up AND get some updated info on CTZ as well.

Update 1/14/02 by PTsenior2000

Welcome to the new site! Hope you like it better than netcolony because this is the best I can do for now. I'm putting up a new Reviews section, so check that out! Between working 5 days a week and studying for a winter class, hopefully I'll find some time for programming. Sorry for the long delay between updates...

**Update** 12/03/01, by Dagger ^^

Hey, welcome^^! Dagger here and I am here to help Paul with the webpage^^! I have also resized some images so that we can fit more pictures in the CTZ pictures page. But if you have any things to tell me or help for the webpage, please don't hesistate please tell any of us(me, RPGWizard, or Paul). And we will try our best to meet your request ^^! Ok, I think I've said more than enough so this is Dagger signing off ^~.

Well, I've neglected my other areas of the site so long that I felt I needed to do something about it...

SO, I am updating the console page. It's not finished yet, but I've started to put up my collection list and my want list. I will also do some reviews of games in the near future and expand those pages. If you wanna trade, just email me. That's all for now.

Hey people, Paul has given his website responsiblility to me and Dagger. We will be the new website crew and you can e-mail us if anything is wrong with the site, or if you would like us to add something. Dagger can be found at queen_garnet@shinra.org. I RPGWizard can be found at potter7890@home.com. We will keep up with updates, Paul will probably make updates too.

Happy Halloween! Well, I just updated some stuff for the site. Hopefully I'll be able to change some stuff around on the site so it will reflect our current status. Haven't done too much programming (sorry!). I promise that I'll start again soon...

Anyway, I added some cool nsf files for use with ctz to my yahoo briefcase! There's only two so far. To listen to them, you must download the nosefart plugin for winamp at www.winamp.com or www.zophar.net; whichever one you choose. We've made some excellent progress on the story. Unfortunately, due to the slacking on my part, there won't be a new demo until mid December (maybe earlier if I work hard enough). Which means, the release of ctz won't be as early as I had hoped...

Well, that's all for now. If there are any of you talented musicians out there that are looking for a challenge and want to join, please email me so we can talk! I can't compose worth crap (you'll see what I mean when you listen to my nsf file). See ya next update!

Ok, no updates for a while and all the sudden I get a bug up my ass! Well, that annoying bug won't seem to go away so here's the update. I posted a nice nes demo, Pong.nes, for y'all in my yahoo briefcase . Also, an old member has just contacted me about the project. And, a new member has joined! Plus, I'll be rethinking the battle system a little bit because I've come up with a brand new idea. Not to mention the fact that soon, I might move my site from this hell hole onto a much better server thanks to our newest member of the team! I've been given several designs for the new version of this site, but I can't seem to choose between them (they're all so great). Anyway, I'll be updating some things and I'll be changing other old misinformation as I have time.

Ok, guys. I have now made the demo available to download without any modifications or anything that could possibly mess it up. I'll also post loopynes as well. If there is a reason why I cannot do so, would somebody please inform me, thanks!

Updated as of 09/06/01

Ok, I have updated the demo and posted a list of instructions so that you guys can download it. This is my latest demo which fixes most of the bugs from the previous one. It even has a background that looks kinda cool. ;-)

So download it if you haven't already.

Well, it seems my angelfire site has been shutdown, so my CTZ demo is no longer available at the moment. Be patient, though because I'll post a new link as soon as I can! If you really want to see the demo NOW, email me with your request.

Chrono Trigger Zero?! Yes, I have read the posts on the messageboards and the rumors about CTZ being cancelled or dead. Let me just reassure all the staff members and viewers of this website that this game is far from dead. I think the reason people have questioned this is because of my temporary leave of absence from the project and my lack of updates and postings to this site and the messageboard. Well, I won't be concentrating too much of my time on the project until I pass my A+ OS exam. Once school starts, I might not update for a while as well because it's just too much during the school year.

So what does this mean? It means that I am still working on CTZ, but I won't be working on it as much as I used to. I know everybody wants it to be released asap, but remember that this is a non-commercial game, so just be patient. To show all of you disbelievers out there that I AM programming this game, I will be posting the first demo today! It's not much, but it shows that I have been working on CTZ and that I have the skill necessary to complete the game. There are, however some bugs that still need to be worked out, but it works pretty good so far. Please download a copy! For those of you who have emailed me with requests to join the site, check your email today! That is all for now...

Hello all! I've had some computer trouble recently, so I'll be reaching out to my loyal visitors of this site to help me improve it. If you are interested, please email me right away! Now that I've said that, let's get on with the update.

I'm going to put up chapter 1 in the ctz section so all of you can read it. I won't be posting anything else as far as the plot goes. You'll just have to wait for the game to come out. I'll also put up new pics and such with the help from my new tv tuner! This thing is awesome! ANYWAY, I'll be doing all this in the coming week, so come back and visit regularly!

Sorry, but I can't get to the other stuff from my last update. My computer broke down, so my demo will not be ready as soon as I had hoped. The staff pictures will be posted as soon as I can get to them, but it might take me a while. With my new tv tuner, I will be able to add both pictures and sound to each and every page on my website. As always, I'll be putting up small updates over the week. Again, PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU WISH TO HELP WITH THE SITE!

After looking at my site's statistics, I've come to the conclusion that most of the people who come to my site don't use javascript; making it nearly impossible for them to view my other pages. With that said, I have added a link to my main page.

As far as ctz goes, there have been quite a few developments in the past month. I've made a messageboard that has helped a lot in the development process. I've also had other staff members submit drawings (which I will post in the appropriate place on the ctz site). I haven't updated anything as of yet, but I will be doing the following over the next week: Post staff drawings, update the old plot summary, and try to post my new demo for ctz (not finished yet, but I expect it to be done relatively soon). The demos that I post won't be the actual game, but rather subdivisions of the game. I'll go into more detail about that later.

As for my other pages, I will be adding material on each and every site! With school out until May 29th, I'll be free to work on my website! I might even remake some of the sites so that they look a whole lot better.

My site so far has attracted 810 unique visitors (according to hitbox from March 11 to May 21). Thank you for your support!

Ok, I apologize for the long waiting period between updates. This update in particular is an achievement all on it's own. I've updated everything I said I would, with the exception of a few pages. I've even added a new programming section to the nes page, so be sure to check that out!

On a different note, nesfan.com has officially closed down. This is truely sad because I loved their messageboards. It was fun while it lasted, but we must move on. I'll be creating some articles in the near future about the nes scene and nesfan.com in particular.

On a more positive note, CTZ has been coming along nicely. With the help of my staff members, the project should be finished in no time. I'm still looking for additional members, so if you wish to join, just email me! I'm also using a new publishing service called xanga.com! It allows me to make reviews and post daily entries like a journal. I'll post the link to my page soon! As always, I'll be making small updates to the site over the week. Be sure to check back and see what's new!

Hi all! Yes, I've finally updated the site (well, not really). Dont expect me to post much in the coming month, because I doubt I will have the time. With school, work, and CTZ all on my back at once, it'll be hard to update the site much at all! I will give you some goodies very soon though. Among those will be the theme to ctz (composed using a shareware midi program and NerdTracker II), some sprites of actual characters, my have and trade lists for nes and other consoles, some updates to the Dragon Force site, an update to my bio page (it's blank now), and some more stuff that I will slowly post on the site (including my first nes ROM Pong). I think most of the work I will put into this site will be during Spring Break. Until then, this is Paul Talbot signing off.

Wow! It's been a month since I've updated this site! Well, I've done lots of work on the visual aspects on the site. I've also done some work in the scripting and character design of CTZ. As far as all the other sites, I've set up the basics, I just need to add the material. The nes site has some material already! I'll try to do more work on this webpage in the coming weeks. Like always, I'll put up small updates over the week.

Hi all! Yes I know, I'm a day late in updating my site. I have good reason for not updating, though! This week was finals at my College. Studying and testing has made it nearly impossible to reply to every email, but I think I satisfied everybody (those of you who aren't, please email me)! Alright, enough self-pity talk, on with the update!

Those of you who have visited my CTZ page have noticed a lot of updates over the week. I added to every single page except the progress page! I even added a pic of what the Dragon Force battle system will look like! If you haven't seen it already, check it out by clicking on CTZ to the left! I also made a faq to try to answer all of your questions that you have asked via email. Thanks for the emails! I also updated my links page to include many sites that I frequently visit. The reason that I haven't updated my progress page is simple; I have nothing to report. I'm still working hard to decifer all the functions of the NES. I've been able to make a few demos, but nothing postworthy. I'll add pictures and other stuff as soon as I receive them.

I would like to thank everybody who has emailed me about the project. You have been very helpful and I hope to hear from more people in the future. Keep those emails coming!

As you can see, I have updated my site again! I decided the new frames look is the best. Thanks goes out to Netcolony. They made it possible to only have one banner at the top instead of one banner for each frame! I have updated my CTZ site to include four separate sites. It's also in frames format. If you don't like this format, sorry. I'll work on a no-frames option later. For now, this is how it's gonna be!

Next time, I'll add to my CTZ page. Hopefully, I can have all sections up and running. As of now, they are all blank. I will also be working on my other consoles page and my NES page. Maybe by next update, all my links will be available. Thanks for visiting! Come back and look for small updates over the week.
