We realize that many of you are not local and therefore are not always aware of town issues. It is our goal to keep you informed as to events and controversy in our town. There are major issues in the town that the majority of homeowners do not know about. Are you concerned about what is happening in YOUR TOWN?? YOU SHOULD BE!! While Dewey certainly needs it's bars and nightlife, there is also a need for noise controls and public concerns have to be addressed. We need to ensure that as Commissioners and appointed officials of the Town of Dewey Beach we reflect the will of the majority of homeowners in the way they conduct Town business. As Commissioners we will listen to homeowners’ concerns and issues and act on those concerns and issues with honesty and integrity. To accomplish our goal we must ensure that honest and dedicated Residents and Property Owners are encouraged to participate in the governance of the Town by attending town meetings, accepting appointment to Town Committees, or by showing support of the individuals who do. We hope you will check our page often for updates and important news that will effect you or your property. We also invite your comments on issues that are important to you. It is NOW time for a new Council majority to be put in place. We need the best interests of Dewey Beach Citizens and Property Owners to be first and foremost. All businesses are important but some should not be allowed to do things for the sole purpose of financial gain without regard for our exisiting laws or for the good of the town.
