Why Christianity? This is not about religion or church doctrine. This is about a God who loves you and wants to be part of your life. God doesn't want you to be miserable or unhappy. We were designed in His image. He has a plan for your life and wants you to develop to your fullest capabilities and potential. He wants for you to experience an abundant life of adventure, challenge, purpose and meaning with Him. Christianity is not about following a set of rules or rituals but developing a personal relationship with an all knowing, detailed, living God. He will talk to you as you open up your heart and life to Him. We can actually hear Christ speak to us. God gave each of us the greatest gift of His Son Jesus who wants to save us from our sins. Salvation is only through Jesus Christ. John 14:6 (Christ speaking) "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Colossians 2:8 reads "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ". We cannot save ourselves from our sins. Everyone needs Jesus to save them. (More about this in the Religion section).
