This
is a collection of surreal
style line art
drawings that I have done with India ink and pen on paper, freehand
without
rule. I spend about 3
weeks on each one,
give
or take.
You may save or print a copy of any
drawing for your own use. They will look best at a
screen
resolution 800x600.
Drawings
1-100 are done on either 8.5"x 11" or A4 (8.3"x
11.66") paper. 101-130 are on A3 (11.66" x 16.6"). I have
converted them here to the "international" document standard of 8.3"x
11".
I scan them as b&w fine print bitmaps, then convert to grayscale
gifs with Photoshop. Reducing them to a reasonable screen-sized
resolution takes a lot out of them, so I hope someday to be able to
make them
available in fine-print sized resolution.
Click on
the page links to go to a page of thumbnails
linking to each drawing, and click on a thumbnail
to view the
drawing. If you don't want to look through
the thumbnails, just click on any number to
the left. The current drawing featured above is 78.
For a few moments' entertainment or distraction, cut and paste a
picture into a
new graphic file and then paint colors into the white areas, cut and
paste pieces of it around the picture and/or otherwise distort it.
(Copy the
drawing into
a new graphic file set to RGB color, as they are now in grayscale.)
