"Nick," I picked up our 8 year old son.

"No, we made MTV news." He kissed Jake on the forehead.
"Candi made it, too."
"Should we call her?" Nick asked taking a sleeping Jake from my arms.
"No, I love our life the way it is." I whispered gazing out at our backyard; covered with trees. I know every story has an ending I'm just glad mine was happy.
