Ah, Oppress the Man Day. Truly one of our most controversial holidays. The most controversial thing about Oppress the Man Day is that we can't often decide upon who the man is. Follow me on this one.

The term "The Man" can be applied several ways: "The Man" can be someone who walks with complete impugnity is any area. In this manner, I believe "The Man" is actually Jack Nicholson. But there is another "Man". The one who oppresses anyone and everyone who gets in his way. This is the "Man" who needs to be oppressed today.

So, go out there, find your oppressive "The Man", and oppress him/her/it right back. Don't take that. It's like (Not) the Atomic Playboy said, "Don't mess with us, mo' fo'."
