Dragonball
Ep.01"Secret of the Dragonball" – After fishing, young Goku meets Bulma and learns about the seven Dragonballs (and what girls are). They start their quest to find them with 3 already! Goku also saves Bulma from a hungry dino with his Nyoi Bo (Power Pole), and they continue on.
Ep.02"The Emperor's Quest" – Emperor Pilaf and his henchman Shao and Mai, are also searching for the balls to rule the world. Goku has to take a bath and annoys Bulma. He meets a sea turtle, and he and Bulma return him to the ocean. While on the way there, Goku easily beats up a punk bear.
Ep.03"The Nimbus Cloud of Roshi" – The grateful turtle introduces the two adventurers to Master Roshi, an old martial arts master. The turtle hermit gives Goku the Kintoun(Flying Nimbus). A magic flying cloud that only the pure of heart can ride excludes Roshi and Bulma). Roshi also gives the two a fourth Dragonball.
Ep.04"Oolong the Terrible" – Our heroes find a town being terrorized by a shapeshifter named Oolong (his forms include a bull, monster, and a "handsome man"). He has been kidnapping the local girls of the town. Goku dresses up like a girl, but Oolong figures it out. It finally turns out Oolong can only hold shape for 5 minutes, and his true form is a pig. They get another Dragonball from the town and continue with Oolong.
Ep.05"Yamcha the Desert Bandit" – The next Dragonball is on Mt. Frypan (Fire Mountain). On the way there Goku, Bulma, and Oolong have to cross the Diablo Desert. Bulma, exhausted, takes a nap. Meanwhile, Oolong and Goku get attacked by Yamcha (a bandit with fighting skill) and Puar (a shapeshifting cat). Yamcha battles Goku, but the fight quickly ends when Yamcha sees Bulma. Seeing pretty girls make him collapse, and Puar takes him home.
Ep.06"Keep an Eye on the Dragonballs" – Everyone in this episode tries to steal the balls from Bulma and Goku. Yamcha & Puar, Shao & Mai, and even Oolong tries to take them. In the end, Yamcha loses a tooth, Shao & Mai are blown up, and Bulma ends up in a playboy bunny costume. Goku, Bulma, and Oolong continue toward Fire Mountain with Yamcha hot on the trail.
Ep.07"The Ox-King on Fire Mountain" – After an unsuccessful attempt to get to the castle (that contains the Dragonball) on top of the mountain, the group meets Ox-King. He does try to kill them, but stops when he sees the Nyoi Bo (that belonged to Grampa Gohan) and the Kintoun (that was Master Roshi's). It turns out Ox-King trained with Gohan under Master Roshi. Goku and Ox's daughter Chi Chi go to Roshi because they need to blow out the flames on the mountain.
Ep.08"The Kamehameha Wave" – Master Roshi uses the powerful energy blast called Kamehameha to blow out the flames. At the same time, he accidentally blows up Ox's castle and the entire mountain. They still get the Dragonball and a new car (the old one was broken when Goku first learned the Kamehameha!!)
Ep.09"Boss Rabbit's Magic Touch" – Goku and Co. find a town under the control of a group called the Rabbits. Bulma is mistaken for a member until she took off her bunny costume. After taking care of two goons, Goku meets the leader Monster Carrot. He can turn anyone into a carrot with just a touch. Thanks to the help of Yamcha and Puar, the big bunny is beaten.
Ep.10"The Dragonballs are Stolen" – On the way to the final ball, Goku, Bulma, and Oolong are robbed of all their Dragonballs and capsules, except for the 4-star Dragonball (which Goku had). Yamcha and Puar finally decide to team up with Goku and the gang. All five break into Pilaf's maze of a palace, but are captured by the many traps.
Ep.11"The Penalty is Pinball" – The gang is trapped in Pilaf's castle. After a failed attempt at trying to torture Bulma, the Emperor decides to just take the last Dragonball. Our heroes are knocked out by gas, and the last ball is taken. As the bad guys (Pilaf, Shao, & Mai) go outside to make a wish. They run into the whole gang again because Mai forgot to close the cell door. But, our heroes wind up back where they started after going through an insane pinball trap!
Ep.12"A Wish to the Eternal Dragon" – Pilaf summons the Dragon and prepares to make his wish to be supreme ruler of the world. Goku uses the Kamehameha to make a small hole in the wall of their cell. Puar and Oolong turn into bats and escape outside. In the middle of Pilaf's wish, Oolong interrupts and wishes for underwear. The "Supreme Underwear" is delivered and the Dragonballs are scattered again. After a long battle with the guard dogs, all our heroes are trapped in a special room that will fry them in the morning. At the end of the episode, young Goku looks up to the full moon…
Ep.13"The Legend of Goku" – Goku transforms into a Giant Ape surprisingly and begins to smash the castle. Pilaf, Shao, Mai, Bulma, Yamcha, Puar, and Oolong all flee. In the end, Pilaf and his Lackeys run away Yamcha and Oolong grab Goku's tail, and Puar cuts it by turning into giant scissors, so Goku returns to normal. The next morning, our heroes are recovered (Goku doesn't know what happened and gets very upset that his tail is gone). They all agree to go hunt for the Dragonballs in a year after they are reactivated. Yamcha and Bulma become a couple and Goku decides to go train with Master Roshi just like his Grampa did. The episode ends with Goku flying off in the distance on the Flying Nimbus.

Season 1
Ep.01"The Arrival of Radditz" – Goku takes his son Gohan to his 5-year reunion with his friends Master Roshi, Krillin, and Bulma. After scaring a farmer and almost attacking Piccolo, Radditz comes to join the party. He reveals that he is Goku's older brother and that Goku is a Saiyan from Planet Vegeta. He also says that the planet was destroyed and there were only 4 survivors, Goku included. He tries to convince Goku to complete his mission of killing all every lifeform on Earth and join him. When Goku refuses, Radditz kidnaps Gohan and flies off.
Ep.02"The World's Strongest Team" – Goku and Piccolo forget their past of fighting and join to fight Radditz instead. Once they find him, the fight begins. Shortly after, Goku and Piccolo discover how much stronger he is than them. In the end, Piccolo loses an arm.
Ep.03"Gohan's Hidden Powers" – Piccolo has lost his arm, but he is still strong enough to try his new attack: the Makankosappo (Special Beam Cannon). He tells Goku he will need at least 5 minutes to charge it. Goku begins to fight. He finishes but misses Radditz because of his speed. As Piccolo starts to charge it again, Goku attacks once more. When the five minutes are nearly up, Goku begins to run out of strength. Radditz blasts him. An angry Gohan, then steps out and attacks Radditz. He is hurt, but not defeated. Suddenly as Radditz is about to attack helpless Gohan, Goku grabs Radditz and holds him just as Piccolo has finished charging.
Ep.04"Goku's Unusual Journey" – Goku has to hold Radditz while Piccolo shoots the beam, so he won't dodge it again. The beam hits both brothers. Radditz believes his brother was a fool to have sacrificed his life, but Piccolo assures he wasn't and explains how they will simply wish him back with the Dragonballs. Little did he know that Radditz's scouter was also a transmitter. The other 2 surviving Saiyans learn about the Dragonballs and head to Earth to wish for immortality. Radditz and Goku die and Goku is taken by Kame to King Yamma's house in the other dimension. Roshi, Krillin, and Bulma return home after they find out what's happened and that they only have a year before the Saiyans arrive. Goku is sent down Snake Way to train with King Kai & Piccolo takes Gohan for survival training.
Ep.05"Gohan's Metamorphosis" – During his survival training, Gohan catches a glimpse of a full moon for the first time and transforms into a Giant Ape. Piccolo can't reach his tail, so he just destroys the moon. Luckily, Gohan changes back and Piccolo rips off his tail. While this was happening, Krillin, Bulma, and Roshi finally get up enough guts to tell Chi Chi and the Ox-King what's happened to Goku and Gohan.
Ep.06"Gohan Makes a Friend" – Goku continues to travel along Snake Way toward King Kai's Place. Gohan is left alone by Piccolo and he moves into a cave, but he isn't the only resident. Gohan discovers a dinosaur there, but he is injured. Gohan takes care of him with a family secret his Dad showed him. This did no good though because a giant dinosaur attacks and kills Gohan's new friend. Gohan moves on and continues his training. Meanwhile, Krillin goes to Yamcha (who has become a pro-baseball player) and tells him what has happened. They go along with Yajirobe, Tenshinhan (Tien for short), and Chaozu to train at Kame's and prepare for the Saiyans.
Ep.07"Trouble on Arlia" – Months pass. Gohan is getting very strong, and his father Goku continues to run down Snake Way. The Saiyans, Nappa & Vegeta, make a quick stop on the peaceful planet of Arlia. After some fun killing the locals, Vegeta destroys the planet and they continue to Earth to search for the Dragonballs.
Ep.08"Home for Infinite Losers" – Goku falls of Snake Way and remembers that King Yamma warned him that if he fell off he wouldn't be able to get back on. Goku tries to get on Snake Way but fails and is stuck in HFIL. He meets two ogres, Goz and Mez. The ogres agree to help him if he could pass their tests. Sure enough, Goku passes all the tests and is shown a secret passage. This passage takes him back to King Yamma's desk drawer!! Goku has to start all over but he moves a lot faster after snatching some energy boosting magic fruit.
Ep.09"Princess Snake's Hospitality"-As Goku travels on Snake way he stops at a house. He meets Princess Snake (thinking she's King Kai at first). Goku tries to hurry things up after he finds out Princess Snake is not King Kai. She tries to stall him but then gives up and shows her true form, a giant snake. She tries to eat Goku but he tricks her and continues on Snake Way.
Ep.10"Escape from Piccolo"-Using the boat he made, Gohan leaves Piccolo's training ground. A storm puts him in the care of some orphans. After the orphans are taken to "The Home," the leader, Pigero, takes Gohan to his home. Deciding it would be wrong to go back to his mom, Gohan to return to Piccolo's training instead.
Ep.11"Showdown in the Past"-While training at Kami's lookout, Krillin, Yamcha, Tenshinhan, and Chaozu go to the Pendelum Room which transports them to the Planet Vegeta of 100 years ago. There, they fight two ancient Saiyans and lose horribly. Fortunately, it was an illusion and they are unhurt, but the bad thing is that the Saiyans heading to earth are much stronger. Yajirobe decides to snack for the entire episode.
Ep.12"The End of Snake Way"-Gohan goes monkey form again because of a projection of Goku's old space pod. After fighting a losing battle, Piccolo stops him again by destroying the source. Elsewhere, our hero, Goku, finally reaches the end of Snake Way which has nothing at the end. Then Goku notices a small Planetoid and jumps up to it. There he finds Bubbles (who he thinks is King Kai) and starts doing silly stuff. At the end of the episode, Goku finally meets the real King Kai.
Ep.13"A Fight Against Gravity…Catch Bubbles"-Goku trains on King Kai's Planetoid. Gravity is ten times there than on earth. Goku's first task is to catch a monkey named Bubbles. Under ten times gravity and weighted clothes, Goku finally catches Bubbles!!
Ep.14"The Legend of the Saiyans"- After much strain, Goku accomplishes his next task: to hit Gregory the ultra fast grasshopper with a huge mallet. Goku also learns the history of the Saiyans. Although, King Kai is not completely accurate. He tells Goku that meteors destroyed the Planet. We will find out the truth later.
Ep.15"Black Day for Planet Earth"- After learning the Kaioken and Genki Dama (Spirit Bomb) techniques, Goku is wished back and hurries back down Snake Way. The two Saiyans finally arrive at Earth. They destroy a city before heading off to fight Earth's warriors.
Ep.16"The Battle Begins…Goku Where Are You?"- The battle is set but Yajirobe chickens out last second (surprise surprise). Piccolo, Gohan, Tien, Chaozu, and Yamcha first have to defeat Nappa and Vegeta's six plant warriors called Saibamen. The first fight is Tien vs. a Saibamen. Goku still hurries down Snake Way.
Ep.17"The Saibamen Strike"- Tien beats up one Saibamen and Vegeta just kills it to warn the others not to fail. Next, one self-destructs killing itself and Yamcha. An angry Krillin and Piccolo waste the rest.
Ep.18"Nappa…The Invincible?" – Nappa joins the battle and attacks Tien. They discover how powerful he is. Choazu tries to end it by gripping on to Nappa's back and exploding. It barely leaves a scratch. Things begin to look dim for Earth's warriors.
Ep.19"Tien Goes All Out!!"- Tien pours out all his energy in an attack (Kikoho) to kill Nappa. The triclops ends up dead (Kikoho is suicidal if used too long), and Nappa is once again unhurt and as tough as ever. Vegeta calls a 3-hour break to wait for Kakarot to arrive. In the meantime, Nappa destroys a group of reporters and a huge army out of boredom.
Ep.20"Time's Up!!"- The break ends with no Goku, but our heroes sense him getting closer. Vegeta's scanner reveals Goku's power level at 5000!! He orders Nappa to kill the what's left of the group before the traitor Saiyan arrives.
Ep.21"The Return of Goku"- The fight between the three begins and after a long time, Nappa decides to spice it up. He uses a massive energy blast to waste Gohan, but Piccolo throws himself in front to save his only friend. Even the power of Gohan's anger can't win against Nappa…Goku finally arrives to find that only Gohan and Krillin survived.
Ep.22"Goku Strikes Back"- Nappa can't compare to Goku. Vegeta tells him to retreat, but he attacks Gohan and Krillin. Goku stops him and leaves him defeated. Nappa asks Vegeta for help, but instead Vegeta kills him for failing. Vegeta and Goku fly to a secluded spot to battle. Gohan and Krillin decide to head home.
Ep.23"Goku Vs. Vegeta…A Saiyan Duel" – Goku and Vegeta go one on one. The fight escalates to a huge beam battle. Goku uses the Kamehameha (with Kaioken times 2) while Vegeta blasts with his Galic Gun (Garlic Ho). Goku upgrades to Kaioken times 3, and Vegeta is shot into space. This makes the evil Saiyan very angry.
Ep.24"Vegeta…Saiyan Style"- Yajirobe looks on as Vegeta creates a fake moon to turn into a Giant Ape. Unlike Gohan, Vegeta can control himself and he is now 10 times stronger. Goku struggles to hurt him, but he I no match. He tries the to use the Genki Dama on Vegeta, but just as he is going to throw it Vegeta nails him. Gohan and Krillin sense Goku's power level dropping and return to help.
Ep.25"Stop Vegeta Now!!" – Yajirobe decides to help Krillin and Gohan cut the Ape's tail off. Gohan and Krillin the distraction and Yajirobe the striker. Gohan and Krillin fly out and begin to distract as they see Yajirobe take off in his car. Krillin tries a Destructo Disc, but it's no use. While Vegeta is about to destroy them, Yajirobe comes back and cuts the tail off. Then he makes a run for it and disappears again. Goku gives Krillin the Genki Dama energy and Krillin forms a ball. This is their last chance, so Krillin waits for the perfect shot. He shoots it, but at the last second Vegeta dodges and the ball flies by, heading toward Gohan. King Kai tells Goku that Gohan can rebound it since he is pure of heart. He does it and this time it hits Vegeta dead on. The battle is finally won.
Season 2
Ep.26"Battle's End"- Earth's heroes are surprised to see Vegeta fall back down to Earth. Just as he is about to attack, he notices Gohan's tail and just as he is about to rip it off Gohan sees the full moon and transforms. For the first time, Gohan is able to control himself and finishes Vegeta. His tail is cut off and he lands right on Vegeta. Earth's warriors spare Vegeta's life and he leave swearing revenge. Our heroes are picked up by Roshi, Bulma, and Chi Chi and taken to the hospital.
Ep.27"A New Goal…Namek"- The warriors recover at the hospital and they need a spaceship to go to the Planet Namek to get the other Dragonballs. After accidentally blowing up Nappa's pod, Bulma is taken by Mr. Popo to Kami's old Namek spaceship. Luckily, it is still in working order.
Ep.28"Journey to Namek"- Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan, load up and blast off toward Namek. In space, a mirror-coated ship captures them. Meanwhile, Vegeta lands on one of the bases Frieza #79 (owned by space landlord Frieza) to recover.
Ep.29"Friends or Foes?"- In the mirror-coated ship, some refugees mistake the Dragonball team for Frieza's men. By saving them from a meteor shower, the team proves their true intentions. Bulma and the rest take off and crash on "Planet Namek." Helped by two of the "Namek" people, they begin their search for the Dragonballs.
Ep.30"Hunt for a Dragonball"- With the help of the two "Nameks," the team goes through many disasters including an acid swamp, a tornado, a living forest, and a giant to get the balls. Goku is still weak in the hospital, but Vegeta has fully recovered on Frieza's base. He is now stronger than ever (max about 24,000).
Ep.31"Who's Who?"- Goku has not recovered enough to train, and ends up in the hospital again. Vegeta discovers Frieza is already on Namek hunting for the balls, and he takes off for Namek. Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan recover another ball from a cave and head off for the last one. When they reach the last ball, they discover that they aren't on Namek. The two "Nameks" that had been helping them were really aliens that created the whole place as an illusion.
Ep.32"Touchdown on Namek"- Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan manage to escape the evil aliens and take off for the real Namek. It turns out they weren't too far and they land on the real Namek. Unfortunately, so do Vegeta and Kui and it turns out Frieza already has some of the Dragonballs!
Ep.33"Face Off on Namek"- After their ship is broken, Gohan and Krillin beat two of Frieza's henchmen. Vegeta easily kills his old rival Kui. Dodoria, Zarbon, and Frieza notice that Vegeta's power hits 24,000, but Frieza decides they should not worry and continue to gather Dragonballs.
Ep.34"The Ruthless Frieza"- Yajirobe stops by the hospital and gives Goku a bag of Senzus. Fully healed, Goku travels toward Namek in a ship modified by Bulma's father. On the ship, he begins heavy gravity training.
Ep.35"The Nameks Versus Frieza"- The Nameks fight Frieza's men to keep the 5th Dragonball. The Nameks first appear to be very weak, but then they trash all of Frieza's Soldiers. The Elder of the Namek village manages to destroy all of Frieza's scouters in the confusion. Dodoria joins in and kills 2 of the 3 Namek warriors with no effort at all.
Ep.36"Escape from Dodoria"- The Namek Elder of the village finally hands over the 5th Dragonball to Frieza. Dodoria proceeds to kill all the Nameks but one (a small child named Dende) because the elder wouldn't reveal the location of the other 2 balls. Gohan and Krillin rush in, grab Dende, and fly off. A terrible chase ensues, but Dodoria leaves thinking he killed Gohan, Krillin, and Dende.
Ep.37"Secrets Revealed"- On his way back Dodoria is mysteriously thrown down. It turns out to be Vegeta and after some insults from Dodoria, he attacks. Dodoria bargains for his life and tells Vegeta the true story of the demise of the Saiyan planet. He explains Frieza destroyed the planet when he thought it might be a threat. Vegeta decides to kill Dodoria anyway.
Ep.38"A Collision Course"- Goku is informed he is soon to crash into a star! Using the guidance of Bulma's Dad (Dr. Briefs), Goku manages to go for a spacewalk and fixes his spaceship. He then uses a Kamehameha with Kaioken times 20 too fly the ship away from the star. Meanwhile on Namek, Vegeta lands at a Namek village not yet visited by Frieza. Vegeta decimates the entire village (the villagers included) and gets a Dragonball! Now, Frieza has 5, and Vegeta 1.
Ep.39"Stay Away From Frieza"- Dende tells the team that they can get help from the eldest Namek. The Namek Guru is the father of all the people on Namek today (Dende is child number 108). Anyway, Krillin and Dende head toward the Namek's house. While training, Goku is contacted by King Kai. Yamcha, Tien, Chaozu, and Piccolo have all arrived at Kai's place to train. In the conversation, King Kai warns everyone that Frieza is way too dangerous for anyone to face.
Ep.40"Zarbon Transformed"- Tien, Yamcha, Chaozu, and Piccolo train on King Kai's Planetoid. Their first task: Make King Kai laugh. All succeed, except for Piccolo. He decides he'll train on his own. Vegeta prepares to fight Frieza's best man, Zarbon. Vegeta won until Zarbon showed his true form. After he transformed, Vegeta was defeated in a second.
Ep.41"The Eldest Namek"- Krillin and Dende travel to the home of the Guru and his protector Nail. When the get there, Guru makes Krillin stronger and gives him the One-Star Dragonball. Krillin leaves and heads back to show Gohan and Bulma what he got. Meanwhile, Gohan and Bulma begin to worry about what's taking him so long. Gohan flies off with the Dragon Radar to search for him.
Ep.42"Get Vegeta!"- Frieza has Vegeta in the rejuvenation tank so he can find out the location of the Dragonball he recovered. Frustrated, Frieza calls for the Ginyu Force. The team continues training at King Kai's. After much trial, they finally catch Bubbles and hit Gregory. They convince Piccolo to give it a try and he catches Bubbles in less than a second. The team decides to fight Piccolo for a little extra training, but just as they are ready, King Kai announces that it's dinner time.
Ep.43"Vegeta Revived"- Vegeta heals and escapes Frieza's ship with the five Dragonballs Frieza collected. Vegeta spots Krillin carrying a ball and follows him. Zarbon sees both and chases after them. While Gohan was flying, the Dragon Radar picked up a ball nearby. Gohan landed to check it out. He ended up at a destroyed Namek village and the radar revealed that the Dragonball was in a lake in front of him. Gohan swam down and found the Dragonball that Vegeta hid.
Ep.44"A Heavy Burden"- A storm in space causes the gravity machine in Goku's ship to go to 100G. Goku tries to change it back but it's just too hard. After a lot of struggling, Goku changes it back to 0G and eats a senzu to regain his energy. Then, he decides to train at 100G. Vegeta and Zarbon arrive and battle over Krillin's Dragonball. Vegeta has a secret though. He tells Zarbon that with every battle, Saiyans become stronger.
Ep.45"Immortality Denied"- Vegeta has become even stronger than Zarbon, defeats him, and takes the Dragonball. On the way to the ball in the lake, he runs into Gohan. Luckily, Gohan sensed him coming and hid the Dragonball before he showed up. Vegeta recognized the radar in Gohan's hand, but wasn't sure what it was. He took a hit at Gohan and flew off, but when he found out the ball he hid was stolen, he remembered that it was a Dragon Radar. Vegeta flew off to settle the score with Gohan.
Ep.46"Big Trouble for Bulma"- Gohan arrives and shows Bulma and Krillin his newfound Dragonball. Krillin decides to take Gohan to see Guru while Bulma stays and guards the Dragonball. Bulma carelessly loses the ball and it rolls into the ocean. She takes out a capsule and follows it in a sub. She ends up in a cave full of eggs that look like Dragonballs. A crab awakens as she takes the ball and narrowly escapes it only to be caught by two of Frieza's henchmen.
Ep.47"Scramble for the Dragonballs!"- Bulma cleverly convinces the henchmen that they would be better off getting the balls for themselves than working for Frieza. She tells them she knows where tons of balls are. She leads them down in her sub to the cave where the crab was. She tells them the eggs are Dragonballs and as they are distracted she grabs the real ball and takes off. Just as they begin to chase her, the crab attacks. Bulma escapes safely with the ball. Vegeta spots Krillin and Gohan on their way to the Namek and follows them.
Ep.48"Arrival of the Ginyu Force"- Goku has completed his 100G training and is getting closer to Namek, but there's one problem. The Ginyu Force has already arrived. Krillin distracts Vegeta as Gohan receives the Guru power up. They are all informed about the Ginyu Force's arrival and decide that the only way to win is to team up. Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta fly off to join the Dragonballs and make their wish.
Ep.49"Elite Fighters of the Universe…The Ginyu Force"- The three find Bulma and take the ball, leaving her completely confused. They join all seven and Vegeta says he must wish for immortality, so the can win the fight, but Krillin & Gohan want to wish their friends back. While deciding, the Ginyu Force arrives and they take all the balls.
Ep.50"Time Tricks and Body Binds"- Gohan and Krillin fight the time-stopping, cowardly Guldo. As the others watch on, Guldo nearly wins until Vegeta steps in and takes care of him. The next battle begins.
Ep.51"No Refuge for Recoome"- It's Vegeta vs. Recoome. Captain Ginyu flies off to give the balls to Frieza while Jeice and Burter watch the fight. Vegeta gets beaten and almost killed, until Gohan and Krillin step in.
Ep.52"Enter Goku"- Frieza finally attains all seven Dragonballs! The only problem is he doesn't know the password. Gohan and Krillin fight Recoome and are badly beaten. When it seems there is no hope for our heroes, Goku finally arrives.
Ep.53"Goku…Super Saiyan"-Goku goes to the battle ground and gives Sensus to Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta. Goku then decides to confront Recoome who Goku defeats with a single hit. Vegeta, Krillin, and Gohan are amazed. Vegeta feels Goku's incredible power. He thinks that Goku is a Super Saiyan! Jeice and Burter decide to attack. They can't touch Goku.
Season 3
Ep.54 "Ginyu Assault"-Jeice and Burter are attacking Goku but can't seem to touch him. They are fooled by their scouters, wondering what's going on. Goku stays in the same place as the two try everything. After a while Goku decides to make a move. He beats Burter up in a second then lets Jeice retreat. Vegeta then finishes the crippled Recoome and Burter. Jeice retrieves Captain Ginyu and they head towards the Z gang as the Ginyu trainees bury the Dragonballs. Goku tells Krillin and Gohan to find the unattended Dragonballs while him and Vegeta wait for two power levels headed their way. They discover that it is Ginyu and Jeice. As they are waiting to fight, Vegeta leaves leaving Goku alone! Vegeta has other plans…getting the Dragonballs.
Ep.55 "Incredible Force!"-Captain Ginyu initiates battle with Goku. As they fight, Ginyu tests his full power on Goku only to miss. He knows that Goku is hiding his true power and gets angry. Ginyu insists that Goku should reveal his full power. Goku warns him but Ginyu keeps insisting, so Goku shows his true power. Goku astounds them both. They read his power at 180,000…a power they never anticipated. Ginyu says Goku is a Super Saiyan!
Ep.56 "Frieza Approaches"-Captain Ginyu and Jeice discover what they're up against. Elsewhere, Guru bestows a special gift of healing upon the young Namek, Dende. Dende is then given the password (we don't hear it). Nail returns to protect Guru from Frieza who arrives shortly after. Frieza is greeted by Nail. Then, a few Nameks come from behind and ambush Frieza, but their efforts have no effect as Frieza finishes them off in a second. Frieza asks Guru for the password, but Guru refuses to speak. Nail steps up and decides to challenge Frieza. Frieza accepts and they leave to fight in a better place. This is a plan to stall Frieza so Dende can get to the humans in time.
Ep.57 "Goku is Ginyu & Ginyu is Goku"- Frieza battles Nail in an effort to discover the password for the Dragonballs. Nail is gets his but kicked, but Frieza also gets a couple surprises. Elsewhere, a powerful Goku faces the remaining Ginyu Force. Suddenly, Ginyu gives his scouter to Jeice powers up and punches a hole in his right side. Goku is confused as Ginyu goes through a strange routine and takes over Goku's body! Goku is now in Ginyu's crippled body and Ginyu has a new super-powered body! Ginyu and Jeice head towards the Dragonballs.
Ep.58 "Calling The Eternal Dragon"-Goku is left helpless while Ginyu and Jeice head to the Dragonballs. Vegeta arrives at Frieza's place and searches for the Dragonballs, destroying Frieza's men in the process. Vegeta puts on some new clothes armor. Suddenly, Krillin and Gohan arrive with the Dragon Scanner and uncover the Dragonballs. Vegeta hides nearby waiting for them to summon the Dragon. He plans to kill them when the Dragon shows up so he can wish for immortality. Krillin tries to summon the Dragon but can't without the password. Then, Ginyu and Jeice arrive. Gohan, Krillin and Vegeta think it is Goku and that Jeice teamed up with him. They are surprised when he attacks. Goku arrives and assures Krillin and Gohan that he is not himself. Ginyu doesn't understand Goku's body, so he can't reach full power. This gives Krillin and Gohan a chance to attack. Ginyu decides to try to achieve full power. Jeice uses his scouter to see if Ginyu can reach full power…
Ep.59 "Gohan Defeat Your Dad!!"-Jeice reads his scouter aloud and reveals that Ginyu's power is actually going down. Gohan and Krillin take action and the battle goes on. Vegeta decides to face Jeice. The gang begins to lose hope as Ginyu begins to understand Goku's body. At that moment, Vegeta destroys Jeice and Ginyu overpowers Gohan and Krillin. Ginyu offends Vegeta. Vegeta then launches his attack and beats Ginyu in three hits! Vegeta might also be a Super Saiyan! Ginyu is lying on the ground helpless. Vegeta is about to deliver the final blow as the episode ends.
Ep.60 "Captain Ginyu…The Frog"-Vegeta is about destroy Ginyu when Ginyu begins the body switch process. Goku jumps in the way and returns to his normal body. Ginyu is now in his old body and Vegeta is beating him up. Goku notices that Ginyu is going to switch bodies with Vegeta. At that, Goku grabs a frog and throws it in front of Vegeta. Ginyu's switch beam hits the frog and instead of being Vegeta, he becomes the frog. Ginyu hops away and that's the end of the Ginyu Force. Goku is badly injured so Vegeta takes him to one of Frieza's rejuvenation tank and gives Krillin and Gohan some saiyan armor to protect them in the upcoming battle against Frieza. Krillin then decides to go to Guru's place to find out the password, Dende is still on his way, and Nail is barely holding on in the battle against Frieza.
Ep.61 "Password is Porunga"-Vegeta decides to take a short nap. A defeated Nail reveals his subtle plot. To stall Frieza long enough for Dende to deliver the password and the for the earthlings to summon Porunga, the Namekian Dragon. Finding his confidence in the Ginyu Force misguided, a frustated Frieza races to stop the earthlings from executing their wishes. Once Dende arrives with Krillin, Gohan says that Vegeta has been asleep for almost an hour. This gives them a chance to make their wishes. They decide to go far away from Vegeta to make their wishes so if he wakes up, it'd take time to reach them. They summon the dragon and the episode ends with an enraged Frieza heading towards the earthlings.
Ep.62 "Piccolo's Return"-Gohan and Krillin ask Dende to summon Porunga, the Namekian Dragon, to make their wishes (Because the dragon must be called and the wishes recited in the Namekian language). But to their disappointment they discover only one person can be returned for each wish. Without sufficient wishes to return all four warriors on King Kai's Planetoid, Krillin and Gohan are convinced by Piccolo to restore him, thereby reinstating Kame and the Dragon Balls on Earth (which was Piccolo's intention), but they have to use their second wish to have Piccolo be transported to Namek so he can assist in battle. An enraged Vegeta, who woke up only to discover that the earthlings had summoned the dragon, arrives before the last wish is cast. Vegeta forces Dende to tell the dragon to make him immortal (Vegeta convinces them that it is their last chance). But before the last word is spoken, Porunga disintegrates into the atmosphere and the Dragonballs turn to stone, Guru had died.
Ep.63 "The Fusion"-Frieza is furious when he discovers the Namekian Dragon Balls are gone, and launches into battle with Vegeta. Elsewhere, Piccolo finally arrives on the opposite side of planet Namek only to discover a badly injured Nail. Even though Nail can't continue to fight in his own body, he can continue to fight by combining with Piccolo in a Namekian fusion technique! Piccolo now united with Nail, feels more powerful than ever and decides to continue to look for the others so he can assist them in the ultimate battle with the relentless Frieza.
Ep.64 "Fighting Power: One Million??"-Frieza's dark past is explained as his destruction of the Saiyan home planet is revealed. But Frieza also has other hideous secrets more revelant to the warriors from Earth, such as the power to transform! In this new transformed state is his power level really over 1,000,000? As Gohan and Krillin face off against this barbarous creature, Krillin makes the ultimate sacrifice and falls prey to Frieza's vicious onslaught. Is this the end of Krillin and all the Earth's hope?
Ep.65 "Piccolo the Super-Namek"-Frieza's assault on Krillin continues, and in his new transformed state all the other warriors can do is helplessly look on.. As Frieza disposes of the noble combatant, an ally arrives just in time to save Krillin from certain doom. It's Dende! And he has a healing power bestowed by Guru. As Krillin is being revived, an enraged Gohan steps up to battle Frieza. And while his fury stalls Frieza for a while, it is not enough to stop the merciless tyrant. Gohan is seriously wounded in his grapple with Frieza. But a renewed Krillin jumps back in the fray and resumes his war on Frieza, starting by cutting off part of his tail. Thanks to Krillin's efforts, Frieza is stalled long enough for Dende to restore Gohan's health. Finally, Piccolo, now united with Nail, arrives to the battlefield! Will the combined efforts of Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin and Piccolo be enough to stop Frieza's reign of terror?
Ep.66 "Deja Vu"-Piccolo, unioned with Nail, launches into an all out brawl with Frieza. As the battle wages it appears Piccolo has finally gained the upper hand. But Frieza isn't done yet! In fact, he transforms a second time! And in this new form Frieza appears truly unstoppable. With the situation appearing more and more hopeless Vegeta devises a plan. But will it work?
Ep.67 "Frieza's Second Transformation"-The united powers of Nail and Piccolo continue to struggle against the almighty Frieza. For a brief moment it seems the Namekian duo could be victorious, but Frieza soon sets everyone straight with a second transformation! With new speed and strength, Frieza gives Piccolo a ruthless beating. Gohan and Krillin are on the sidelines ready to attack.Vegeta is still devising a plan to help them permanently gain the upper hand.
Ep.68 "Another Transformation?"-Desperate to help Piccolo, the enraged Gohan unleashes an attack that nearly topples Frieza. Inspired by Gohan's powerful display, Vegeta reveals his daring plan: he will let Krillin beat him to near death, and force Dende to heal him, as a Saiyan's power increases after healing from a serious injury. Could this tactic finally transform Vegeta into a legendary Super Saiyan? Meanwhile, it seems Frieza has a plan of his own: his final transformation! Vegeta manages to surprise Krillin to where he delivers a powerful blow right through Vegeta's torso. Vegeta believes he will become a Super Saiyan as soon as Dende heals him, but, to Vegeta's surprise, Dende says he can only heal those pure of heart. Vegeta is helplessly lying on the ground, enraged, and then dies.
Ep.69 "Dende's Demise"-Dende heals Piccolo and Krillin, Gohan, and Piccolo convince him that he needs to revive Vegeta. Dende takes a quick trip , revives Vegeta, and gets the crap beat out of him, because Vegeta is mad that Dende didn't revive him in the first place. Having reached his ultimate form, the evil Frieza begins a merciless assault. To start, he takes out the only one who cannot be healed by Dende- Dende himself! As Frieza's onslaught continues, it becomes clear that Piccolo, Krillin, and Gohan don't stand a chance. Suprisingly, the fully healed Vegeta comes to the rescue, wanting to fight Frieza single-handedly! Are Vegeta's claims true? Is he really a Super Saiyan?
Ep.70 "The Renewed Goku"-Despite his new powers, Vegeta proves to be no match for the all-powerful Frieza. With each painful punch, Vegeta's dreams of becoming a Super Saiyan fade away, and Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin can do nothing but watch, frozen with fear. Back on the spaceship, Goku's healing is almost complete! Can Vegeta survive Frieza's relentless beating long enough for Goku to arrive?
Ep.71 "The End of Vegeta"-The revitalized Goku arrives on the battlefield of Namek, but not in time to save Vegeta from Frieza's vicious attack. Beaten and broken, Vegeta hangs on to his life by a thread, using the few minutes he has left to share the secrets of his violent past. Vegeta tells Goku that he was so ruthless because he was a slave to Frieza, after Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta, along with Goku and Vegeta's fathers. Vegeta sheds tears which he held back for his entire life. Vegeta claims that Goku is a Super Saiyan and that Frieza will finally get what's coming. Frieza becomes tired of Vegeta's babbling and,without a sweat, puts a Ki blast through his heart, ending his life. Frieza recognizes Goku as the last Saiyan and son of Bardok.
Ep.72 "The Ultimate Battle"-Feeling a new sense of brotherhood with his long-lost Saiyan race, Goku wages a determined battle with the evil Frieza. As the fight ensues, it appears that Goku is holding his own! In an attempt to defeat Goku, Freiza directs his energy blasts at Namek itself, turning the planet into a deadly, lava-spitting war zone! Can Goku stop Frieza before Namek is torn to pieces?
Ep.73 "Clash of the Super Powers"-Goku and Frieza continue to match strength and wits on Namek. A clever underwater attack puts Goku on top until Frieza traps Goku in an energy ball. It's pinball style fun for Frieza as he bats Goku around, but being trapped in the exploding ball proves to be a deadly game for Goku!
Ep.74 "Frieza's Boast"-To prove his superiority, Frieza vows to beat Goku without using his hands. But after a few painful lessons, the mighty Saiyan has Frieza eating his words. Elsewhere on Namek, Captain Ginyu manages to pull the ol' switcheroo on Bulma, leaving her trapped in the body of a frog!
Ep.75 "Bold and Fearless"-Captain Ginyu returns to the battlefield, but this time, in Bulma's body! Can Piccolo, Krillin, and Gohan handle this Femme Fatale'? And when Frieza powers up to fifty percent of his maximum, Goku is totally outclassed by the evil supergiant! Without anymore cards up his sleeve, where does Goku go from here?
Ep.76 "Embodiment of Fire"-Goku is in hot water when even his Kai Ken Attack has no effect on Frieza who is only at fifty-percent of his maximum power level! But when it looks like Frieza has dealt the final blow, a dreamlike vision including Vegeta helps Goku to awaken to an even higher level of power and strength!
Ep.77 "Trump Card"-Once again Goku is rescued from the depths of despair by a vision! This time Vegeta talks to Goku from beyond the grave to offer the ailing Saiyan new hope and encouragement! But when the renewed Goku realizes that the battle against Frieza is futile, he turns to his last resort: the Spirit Bomb!
Ep.78 "Keep the Chance Alive"-Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu are shivering in their boots when the members of the Ginyu Force pay them a surprise visit at King Kai's planet! Meanwhile, back on Namek, Frieza puts a stop to Goku's struggling efforts to gather enough energy to form the Spirit Bomb, and Piccolo has to intervene to buy Goku the precious time that he needs!
Ep.79 "Power of the Spirit"-Chaos erupts on King Kai's peaceful planet as the Z soldiers battle the Ginyu Force! Back on Namek, a life and death struggle between Piccolo and Frieza buys Goku the time he needs to finish gathering enough energy to form the Spirit Bomb! And when Goku scores a direct hit on Frieza, it looks like the battle is over at last!
Ep.80 "Transformation at Last"-A tender victory celebration comes to a crashing halt when Frieza reappears on the battlefield, enraged that he was almost destroyed by Goku's attack! With no reserves left, Goku watches helplessly as Frieza drops with a single blast Piccolo and causes Krillin's body to self-detonate in mid-air. Enraged by the loss of his friends, Goku suddenly undergoes a wild transformation! What does this mean? Who is the man of gold?
Ep.81 "Explosion of Anger"-Engulfed in a shimmering aura of golden light, a completely rejuvenated Goku announces that he is now a Super Saiyan! Frieza is curious but unimpressed - until the fighting begins, that is! In a raging battle Frieza is horrified when he realizes that Goku is now superior to him in every way!
Ep.82 "Namek's Destruction!?"-A Demonic Flash Penetrates the Ground:Realizing that Goku has indeed become a Super Saiyan, Freeza grows furious at the shame he is being put through. Gohan and Piccolo arrive at Goku's ship, and Gohan begins preparations to lift off. Fearing that Goku may be strong enough to defeat him, Freeza claims that he would rather die by his own hand, and sends a blast of energy straight to the planet's core, enough to destroy the planet! Witnessing this, Kaio-sama can only gape in disbelief. On Earth, Kami-sama telepathically contacts Kaio-sama to let him know that the Dragonballs are assembled and that he would soon be wishing his pupils back to life. Kaio-sama realizes that if Kami is alive to deliver this message, then Piccolo must have survived as well. The planet Namek survived Freeza's blast, but just barely. The planet's core has been obliterated, and the planet has roughly five minutes remaining before it collapses upon itself and really is destroyed.
Ep.83 "Final Attack"-Freeza begins to concentrate his Ki in order to attain his full power. Kaio-sama contacts Goku, telling him that now is his chance to defeat Freeza. Goku tells Kaio-sama that he is going to let Freeza power up to 100% of his abilities, and then defeat him to avenge Kuririn's death. Goku refrains from attacking while Freeza powers up. Gohan finds Bulma and takes her to the waiting space ship. Bulma is overjoyed that she will finally be able to return to Earth, but is a little unsure about spending a week in space with the injured Piccolo. Having attained his full power, Freeza attacks Goku hard and fast, seemingly overwhelming him. Freeza boasts to Goku that he is just getting warmed up for this power level. Goku boasts back that if that was the best Freeza had, he would have been disappointed.
Ep.84 "Approaching Destruction"-Goku's battle with Freeza is partially to buy enough time for Gohan and the others to clear the planet before it explodes. On Earth, Mister Popo stands ready with the assembled Dragonballs. As Kami-sama prepares to summon Sheng Long, Kaio-sama, who is still in telepathic contact, is struck with an idea how to use the Dragonballs. Using Earth's Dragonballs, Kami would wish everyone who had been killed by Freeza's forces back to life. Assuming the Grand Elder's life had been shortened somewhat by the distress caused by Freeza's actions, he too would be brought back to life, however briefly. With the Grand Elder alive, Polunga, the Namek version of Sheng Long, would also reappear, with one wish remaining to grant. Using that wish, everyone but Freeza could be teleported off of Namek to Earth before Namek is destroyed. Yamucha and Tenshinhan agree to wait until the next time the dragon is available to be wished back to life. Mister Popo and Kami-sama summon Sheng Long, hopeful that Kaio-sama's plan will work.
Ep.85 "Gohan Returns"-Sheng Long listens Mister Popo's request, but offers no guarantees as to whether or not the wish will be effective so far away. Sheng Long grants the wish, but it will take some time before the effect reaches Planet Namek. Goku receives a stunning blow from Freeza, burying him deep into the ground. Sensing his father in trouble, Gohan takes off for the area where the fight is happening to take his place. Gohan realizes he will not be able to defeat Freeza on his own, but if he can keep him occupied until the planet explodes, that may be enough to finish him. Gohan is no match for Freeza, however, and is easily beaten. Just as Freeza is about to deliver the finishing blow to Gohan, Goku returns to the scene and rescues him. All over Namek, the dead begin to rise from their graves from Sheng Long's power . The Grand Elder is among those who have been wished back to life!
Ep. 86 "The Last Wish"-Freeza is beginning to grow tired of Goku and threatens to kill him the same way he killed "his bald friend", Krillin. Goku is insulted, becomes furious, and attacks Freeza. The battles continues, King Kai is still watching from his tiny home. He tells the Grand Elder to get Dende to wish that everyone be returned to Earth (except Freeza)before Namek explodes. When King Kai tells Goku about their plans, Goku decides that he must be left to continue fighting with Freeza. King Kai reluctantly agrees and tells the Grand Elder. The message is relayed to Dende and makes the wish that will leave the two fighters on Namek. Before the wish is carried out, Vegeta returns to Goku and congratulates him on becoming a Super Saiyan. He prepares a blast targeted for Freeza, but before it is executed, he vanishes and returns to Earth. Freeza becomes enraged when he learns that everyone he killed was brought back to life and sent to Earth. All while he was fighting Goku!! They had done it telapathically and Freeza missed a chance to make a wish. They are all reunited on Earth and Goku and Freeza are left to battle on the doomed Namek.
Ep. 87 "Duel On A Vanishing Planet"- Goku and Freeza continue their battle. Back on Earth, Guru dies and passes his power to the next eldest Namek. Dende heals all the wounded and Piccolo has flashbacks of him and Goku in Dragonball and the beginning of Dragonball Z. He knew Goku could go beyond any obstacle and believes he can overcome Frieza. Vegeta tries to convince everyone that he'll soon be the most powerful warrior in the universe as soon as Frieza and Goku finish each other off. This makes Gohan angry.
Ep. 88 "Pathos on Frieza"- Time is growing short for Goku, as each passing second brings Namek closer to it's ultimate destruction. But the Super Saiyan's powers seem to know no limits, and it looks as though the once unstoppable Frieza has final been outmatched! As Goku's strength continues to increase with every blow, it appears that the battle has at last reached its conclusion! ...or has it?
Ep. 89 "Frieza Defeated"- As his desperation grows, Frieza's attempts to destroy Goku become more and more reckless. Goku's power proves to be far superior, however, and he easily counters the evil tyrant's attacks. It seems that Frieza's greatest fear has been realized - defeat at the hands of a Super Saiyan! But the clock is ticking! Can Goku escape Namek before it explodes?
Ep. 90 "Mighty Blast of Rage"- As Goku is leaving the battlefield, an angered Frieza turns on Goku with the power he gave him, but with one swift blow, Frieza's reign comes to an end. Now that the battle is finally over, Goku flies off in search of Frieza's ship, his only way off Planet Namek. After what seemed to be hours of searching, he spots the spacecraft and attempts to launch it. Is this the end of Goku?
Ep. 91 "Namek's Explosion...Goku's End?"- Goku reaches the main control room and begins toggling with every button. The problem is that the spacecraft has been heavily damaged and can no longer operate. Before Goku can do anything else, the ship slips through a massive crack down into the fiery lava pit below. Goku escapes from the pod just in time but now has no place to go. With no alternatives, Goku unleashes a shattering yell, screaming, "SSHHIITT!!!" Moments after, the planet explodes. Has Frieza won? Is the Super Saiyan gone for good?
Ep. 92 "Goku's Alive!!"- It seems that everyone can be brought back to life except for Krillin and Goku. Vegeta appears to be partly disappointed, because he won't be able to defeat Goku himself, but is also happy because he is now the strongest fighter in the universe. Chi-Chi, Roshi and the others prepare to fly off to Namek to rescue the Z Team but are stopped when Dr. Briefs receives a call from Bulma. They abort the flight and head over to find that Gohan, Vegeta, Bulma and the Nameks are on earth but two are missing...Goku and Krillin. Bulma explains to Chi-Chi and the others what happened. Vegeta is acting cool but becomes scared when the women begin to hit on him, telling him he's "cute". Vegeta discovers the Capsule Corp. Spacepod and figures out that Kakarot [Goku] used it to go to Namek. He then realizes that he can get the kind of training he needs in that but doesn't worry about that now, cause he's the most powerful warrior in the universe...right? After 130 days, Dende summons the eternal dragon of Namek, Porunga. Everyone decides that it would be most important to bring Goku and Krillin back by bringing them to the spirit realm of earth and wish them back to life. Krillin is brought to the spirit realm of earth but Goku cannot because he is alive and refuses to return until he is ready. Vegeta realizes that he has been wasting his time slacking off on earth and that Goku has been training, which means he is probably twice as powerful as he used to be. Vegeta steals and departs on one of Dr. Brief's Saiyan Pods in search of Goku. Yamcha is wished back then 130 days later Chaozu and Tenshinhan are wished back. Once those two wishes have been granted, the Nameks knew where they wanted to live so they were teleported to New Namek with the last wish of Dende.
Season 4
Ep. 93 "The Heavens Tremble"- Marron is introduced as Kuririn's girlfriend, Garlic Jr. appears and takes over Kami's Palace. He then releases the Black Water Mist to wreak havoc on the minds of humans on earth. The Mist causes anything that inhales it to become extremely wicked and instantly makes them slave to Garlic Jr. and his henchmen. Will this strange mist empower Garlic Jr. and make him the ruler of the world?
Ep. 94 "Black Fog of Terror"- Chichi, Buruma, Yamcha, and Roshi are possessed by the Black Water Mist. Garlic's henchmen visit Kame House with news that Garlic Jr. is back. Gohan becomes angered because he remembers Garlic Jr. from the past [The Dead Zone] and attempts to fight the henchmen but fails when they cast their invisible webs on him. They begin to tease the boy but it stops when an energy ball nearly hits one of the henchmen and explodes in the ocean. Piccolo launched the energy ball to save Gohan but now must face his possessed allies and Garlic's henchmen. Will Piccolo be able to overcome their strength? Are Gohan, Krillin, Marron and Piccolo the last line of defense for earth?
Ep. 95 "Battle at Kami's Lookout"- Garlic's henchmen notify Piccolo that in approximately 24 hours the effect of the Black Water Mist will become permanent; not even the Sacred Water, the antidote, will be able to change those back to normal. Garlic Jr.'s henchmen begin their assault on Piccolo and make him realize that he is no match for them alone. Piccolo ends up facing off against his own friends and decides he must destroy them to get them out of the way. Gohan and Kuririn go to Kami's to retrieve the Sacred Water but it's going to be much harder than they expected. Piccolo is urging to battle Gohan and two henchmen are sent to attack. Far off in the distant regions of outer space, Vegeta is training to become a Super Saiyan and believes to see Goku when a planet next to him begins spewing debris (boulders, rocks, and other things) everywhere. He spots a yellow flare on a planet then it suddenly disappears. Could it have been Goku?
Ep. 96 "Fight with Piccolo"- Gohan & Krillin continue their fight against the henchmen. No matter, Gohan still manages to relentlessly kill two of the four henchmen. The possessed Piccolo then steps in to fight Gohan. Things aren't looking too good...
Ep. 97 "Call for Restoration"- Gohan continues to battle the relentless Piccolo, who is even disobeying the henchmen's orders so he can fight Gohan. Krillin tries to free Kami and Popo, but Garlic Jr. stops him in his tracks. Later in the fight, Piccolo bites Krillin, apparently turning him evil as well. Now everyone is against poor Gohan, but things begin to look up when Piccolo suddenly attacks Garlic Jr., taking away the two bottles with Kami and Popo, releasing them. What has happened?
Ep. 98 "Suicidal Course"- Kami and Mr. Popo are now released. They retrieve the Sacred Water, but Garlic Jr. says it will be impossible to spread it among the entire world before the 24 hour limit is breached. The 24 hour limit is when the effect of the Black Water Mist becomes permanent. Piccolo and Krillin reveal that they were only pretending to be slaves of the Black Water Mist and tell of the plan they made while Piccolo was "biting" Krillin. Mr. Popo devises a plan to save the humans. He recalls that there is a whole which they can travel through that leads to the 7 air currents of the world and says that they can make it before time is up if they hurry, but Mr. Popo warns Kami that it will be dangerous because the previous Kamis of the world would attack them. Despite the warnings, Kami does not refuse. They get protected by the other Z Warriors and escape from the palace on Popo's Carpet. Garlic Jr. reveals his source of power, the Makyo star, which has just arrived the apogee of Earth. This extra energy allows him to mutate into a gigantic demon. He is now ten times more powerful than ever. The two remaining henchmen become stronger as well. Kami and Mr. Popo arrive at the portal to the Kami Underworld. The world's fate is at stake...
Ep. 99 "Extreme Measures"- Piccolo battles the mutated Garlic Jr. while the remaining two henchmen mutate into giants as well. Gohan and Krillin each fight one on one with the monsters but Krillin is no match. One of the henchmen kicks Krillin of the outlook and Gohan gets angry, causing him to send the Spice Boys into oblivion. He then rescues Krillin. Kami and Mr. Popo struggle to reach the 7 air currents. Vegeta is still in search of Goku.
Ep. 100 "The World Awakens"- Kami and Mr. Popo attempt to pass the four guardians of the 7 air currents. Kami is becoming weaker and weaker by the moment, so Piccolo begins to suffer in battle as well. Mr. Popo is able to pass the 4 guardians while Kami distracts them. He reaches the portal and delivers the Sacred Water to the 7 air currents of the world, returning the people back to normal just in time. Piccolo is now useless, so Krillin battles Garlic Jr.
Ep. 101 "Brief Chance for Victory"- Garlic Jr. is overpowering the Z Team in every way but Gohan gets an edge and plunges through his body. It seems to be over but Garlic Jr. is suddenly resurrected and reminds everyone that he is immortal. He then creates another Dead Zone. Gohan makes an energy shield to keep him and his friends from being sucked in. Piccolo & Krillin attack Garlic Jr., giving Gohan enough time to destroy the Makyo star. Thus, making Garlic Jr. shrink and lose power. Due to his weakness, he can no longer keep himself from falling into the Dead Zone and is sucked in once again. The fight is over and peace is restored.
Ep. 102 "Krillin's Proposal"- Krillin is in love with Marron and he wants to propose, but doesn't know if she'll say yes. It's the Turtle's, Master Roshi's pet, 1000th birthday. Turtle gives Krillin some information about a giant pearl in the sea. Gohan and Krillin dive to find it only to be stopped by a bunch of overdefensive fish. Krillin decides to dump Marron but as he is doing it, she tells him that she would have said yes. Krillin feels like an idiot and calls Marron's name but a stud in a car takes her away. Vegeta can't figure out where Goku could be but has a feeling that he is closer than he's ever been before.
Ep. 103 "Frieza's Counterattack"- Vegeta crash lands on Earth after his long search for Kakarot, because the Capsule Corp. Saiyan pod ran out of fuel. Mr. Shuu, a tutor Chi-Chi hired, is very mean to Gohan. He beats Gohan with a whip everytime he misbehaves or talks back, but after Mr. Shuu insults Chi-Chi, she kicks him out of the house for good. Everyone is having a peaceful evening and still wondering where Goku is, but suddenly the Z Warriors sense something coming. A huge power level like Frieza's, but even larger than before. All the heroes gather and make a plan to surprise Frieza by hiding their power. When the enormous spaceship passes their area, they all feel the tremendous power and begin to have doubts. Nevertheless, Vegeta talks them into going on with their quest and so they walk toward Frieza's ship. King Cold, Frieza's father, walks out of the ship with his son by his side.
Ep. 104 "The Mysterious Youth"- Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohan, Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, and Chaozu believe they stand no chance. Despite this fact, they continue to walk toward King Cold and Frieza. Once Frieza is outside the ship, he admires the landscape when he notices something standing on a ledge. When he notices that it's Goku, Frieza flips out and trembles in fear, but is relieved when the image disappears. Frieza believes he will destroy everything on earth and leave Goku suffering, but then a mysterious fighter appears from the sky. This boy acknowledges Frieza and stands prepared to battle. Who is this mysterious youth?
Ep. 105 "Another Super Saiyan?"- Frieza sends his henchmen to annihilate the boy, but they can't touch him. The fighter unsheaths his sword and disposes of the weaklings with ease. Frieza is impressed but still believes the boy to be a joke. The boy mentions Goku, saying that Frieza will never see him again because only one will remain when he arrives. The boy threatens Frieza but Frieza is not intimidated one bit, until the fighter transforms into a Super Saiyan. Frieza becomes enraged when he notices his eyes, which are the same as Goku's, and begins to launch an enormous energy blast. The Z Fighters notice the huge blast and wonder who could be there. They decide to hide their levels until they are certain, for now, Gohan thinks his father is fighting Frieza. Trunks decides to let Frieza have two more chances at destroying him, but is unable to, even though Trunks is giving him the advantage. After the three attempts, Frieza hovers in the sky looking for the youth, but is surprised when he suddenly appears from behind. Trunks unsheaths the Holy Sword once again and slices the evil being in half. Is this truly the end of Frieza?
Ep. 106 "Welcome Back Goku"- Trunks cuts the two halves of Frieza to pieces and disintegrates him with a massive blast. All the Z Warriors are stunned by this kids unbelievable power and decide to move closer and watch the action. King Cold tries to sucker Trunks into joining him and becoming supreme rulers of the universe. However, Trunks refuses the offer and destroys the King with a powerful blast. Trunks notices the Z Fighters and bids that they follow him to a spot where Goku will arrive two hours from now. When they get to the spot, Trunks whips out a Capsule Corp. refrigerator and offers everyone drinks. Everyone becomes suspicious and begin to ask questions, but Trunks says he cannot tell them his name or his reason for being there or where he came from. After two hours, Goku arrives in a Ginyu pod and everyone cheers upon his arrival, except for Vegeta and Piccolo, of course. Goku is surprised when he learns that there is another Super Saiyan, but is amazed that the boy defeated Frieza. How could this be?
Ep. 107 "Mystery Revealed"- The boy asks to speak with Goku in private, which rises everyone's suspicion even more. Once they are far enough, the boy introduces himself as Trunks, a teenager 20 years from the future who will be born two years from present day, and asks Goku if he can control his strength. Goku says it was spontaneous at first but can now control it. Trunks bids him to transform and so he does. Goku shows his remarkable power and Trunks decides to transform as well. The boy spars Goku with his mighty blade, but Goku is only using one finger to thwart every swing. Both return to normal and Trunks admires Goku's power. He then feels he can trust Goku and decides to tell him of the future. He tells of Vegeta and Bulma being his parents and that Goku must never tell anyone about this, because it could threaten his own existence. He then tells about Dr. Gero's plans of world conquest with his androids. Trunks describes how the androids are brutal and in his time, killed all the earth's special forces. Goku wonders if he is also killed but Trunks assures him that a virus that attacks the heart will kill him soon, before the battle begins. Goku becomes angry at the news, but is relieved when Trunks pulls out the antidote to the deadly virus. After all is said, the boy flies off into the distance, without saying goodbye to anyone except Goku. Everyone gathers around and asks Goku what the youth said. Piccolo then steps in and tells them everything, because his Namekian ears heard the entire conversation. Piccolo tells of everything, except about Vegeta and Bulma being Trunks' parents. Everyone doesn't believe the story till they see Trunks in his time capsule. The boy bids them farewell and wishes them luck, then disappears. When will the warriors see this boy again?
Ep. 108 "Goku's Special Technique"- Goku tells of his magnificent escape from Namek. He is able to find a Ginyu pod just before the planet explodes. The pod crash lands on planet Yadratt and the peaceful race nurses Goku back to health. They also repair his spacepod and teach him a new technique, instantaneous movement. He shows them the ability by teleporting to Roshi's and taking his sunglasses.The warriors then split up to train on there own and agree to meet in 3 years on May 12, the day the androids arrive. Will the warriors have the ability to cheat fate?
