Project . Applying what you’ve learned.
Ten points each section. 50 points total.
A friend has asked you to design a web page for his landscaping business. He’s sketched out what he wants to start and gathered most of the information and images you need. You’ll find that in your student folder. Your job is to create the page as specified. Use subtle, consistent colors and some of your own ideas, but follow his requests carefully.
- Home Page . Design a first splash or “home” page with his business’ name and logo prominently displayed. Include a great image and an overview of the services he offers .
- Assume your users have your screen resolution and make sure no scrolling is needed on the first page.
- Use CSS or a table to hold the contents of the page—your client does not like frames.
- Make the navigation bar and the signature (contact information) library items in Dreamweaver and insert them on each page.
- CSS . Design (and apply) an external style sheet that formats everything. Do not use internal styles or class tags.
