Notes for Phyllis RUSHTON
DICKSON, Phyllis Marie - 74, Amherst, died February 8, 2000, at home. Born in Detroit, Mich., she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Minnie (Gorveatt) Rushton. She worked at Gables Lodge for 15 years. She was a congregant of Immanuel Church, on the board of Church Stewards, a member of Mothers Club and the United Church Women. She was a Pythian Sister. She enjoyed travelling with Clyde. Surviving are her husband, Clyde Arthur Dickson; daughters, Valerie Currier, Riverview, NB.; Judy McLaren, Golden, B.C.; son, Thomas, Sudbury, Ont.; sister, Lois Chell, Pictou,; seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by brother, John; sister, Jewel. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, in Campbell's Funeral Home 98 Church St., Amherst. Funeral 2 p.m. Friday, in Immanuel Church, Hickman Street, Amherst, Rev. Danny Compton officiating. Spring burial in Monument Hill Cemetery, Springhill. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society, Immanuel Church or any charity.
