Notes for John * BOYCE
Arrived young from Ireland and purchased Boyce Farm prior to Civil War. Consisted of farm lands and old white house that Manley and Karen Boyce currently reside in. When Johns son Manley marrried and wed, built the house (Connely s) just below. Manley and Alice Gorvette Boyce purchased house in about 1957 and Mary and Elizabeth Boyce, along with John, moved to yellow house up the street. It was built by John Boyce (son of John). John Boyce (of Ireland) was unable to serve in Civil war due to loss of fingers at some point.
