Monty Python's The Life Of Brian

There were many great Biblical dramas to come out of the 50’s, like “The Greatest Story Ever Told”, “Ben-Hur”, and “The Ten Commandments”. I’m happy to say that there was a great Biblical movie out of the 70’s. I’m even happier to say that it was not a drama. That’s right. I’m referring to the one, the only, “Monty Python’s the Life of Brian”. Oh wait a minute; it says that at the top of the page, doesn’t it? Anyway, it chronicles the life of the man who was almost our Lord, Brian, and how he joined his people to help free Jerusalem from the Romans. It has some incredibly funny scenes, like the suicide squad, the scene with all the people standing outside the window, and the one with the spaceship. Brilliant performances by Graham Chapman, Eric Idle, and John Cleese.
