The type of music that I like most is the type that balances the quality of the music with that of the lyrics. Few artists show this balance as well as Everclear does on "So Much for the Afterglow." And not only is one no more important then the other, both aspects of the album are actually good. The lyrics of "Why I don't Believe in God", for example are no better then the background music of "Sunflowers". It faltures at times, but stays strong for most of it.
