This class concentrates on the various parts of the chicken and judging the chickens. Students learn the different types of feathers by "hands-on" work. They learn how to judge the breeds of chickens as well. Diseases of poultry are also discussed. Different bodily functions, like the digestive tract and respiratory system, are also covered in this class.
