"Hey Leslie! Girl what's up?" Mayela asked her best bud.
"I just talked to Brian and he's on his way home right now," Leslie said with a small sigh.
"Something happened?" Mayela asked.
"Yeah. The guys. The group broke up tonight," Leslie said.
"Seriously! Oh Jesus! What happened?" Mayela asked.
"Huge fight and of course it started with Nick and AJ," Leslie said.
"I can't believe this! Are Brian and Nick still okay?" Mayela asked.
"I don't think so. Brian said he didn't want to talk to any of them again. I mean they're best friends they can't just give up on each other!" Leslie said.
"I know!! We have to help them through this. They love to sing together," Mayela said.
"Well, Brian just pulled up I'll talk to you later," Leslie said and the two hung up.
"I better go see how Nick is," Mayela said to herself.

"Cecilia!!! I'm home!" AJ yelled walking into his apartment.
"Hey babe!! Why so early?" She asked confused.
"Oh nothing really but I will be home more often," he said.
"Why?" She asked.
"We just split up that's all," AJ said acting as though he wasn't phased at all. "WHAT? How can that be?" Cecilia asked.
"I hate them that's all," AJ replied.
"AJ, they're your best friends," she said.
"Correction. They were my best friends," AJ said.

"Nick! You up here?" Mayela yelled walking up towards his bedroom. She heard a small noise that sounded like a sob so she went into his room. He was lying there with his face buried in a pillow. "Nick, you OK, Hun?" She asked.
"Go away," he said quietly.
"Sorry no can do. You want to talk about it?" She asked.
"Not really. Nothing to talk about. It's over that's all. Seven years of work down the drain and I wasted it all on them," Nick said.
