She rented a car and headed to Nick's house. She slowly walked to the front door and knocked soffly. Then she rang the doorbell.
"I'm coming!" she heard Nick shout. He opened the door. "Vanessa!?!"
"Nick, I, uh, I wanted to talk to you..." she didn't get to finish because Nick quickly wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly.
"I've missed you so much. I'm so sorry about this whole mess."
"Nick, what happened?" she asked. As he led her inside he told her everything.
"What about your phone? I've been trying to call but it's been busy."
Nick checked the phones and figured out what she had done. "That girl has problems," Nick mumbled to himself and turned his cell phone on.
Vanessa called me at AJ's house and told me everything with her and Nick was fine. I told AJ what happened after I got off the phone with her.
"That's cool," AJ said. "They finally got everything all settled."

The next few days were great. AJ took me to all his favorite places and introduced me to his friends. Then it was time for the guys to get back to business. They had the European tour to do in a couple weeks and had some major rehearsing to do. They had to go to LA but were only going to be there for one night. Vanessa and I spent as much time as we could with our guys before having to go back to our places.

"I'm going to miss you while you're on tour," Vanessa told Nick the last night they were with us.
"I'll miss you too but we have the phone and you have all these pictures of me..." Nick said picking up a stack of magazines and flipping through some of them.
"That's not the same!" I said giving Nick a shove.
"Yeah Nick," A.J said rolling his eyes.
"I know that! I was just trying to cheer her up alittle. What do you guys want anyway? Get out of here and let us have a few minutes alone will ya?" He said as he shoved us out of her bedroom.
"So what are you guys gonna do?" Nick asked Vanessa.
"Well we're gonna get jobs and try to get an apartment together."
"Cool," Nick said nodding his head.
"Nick, we have to go!" AJ said knocking on the door.
Nick sighed. "I'm coming AJ!" he shouted then turned his attention back to Vanessa. "Vanessa I'm really going to miss you. I'll call as much as I can." He leaned forward and kissed her, "I love you, Vanessa."
"I love you too."
"I'll always have my cell phone on and you leave yours on too. That way well always be able to get a hold of each other," AJ said hugging me tightly.
"Okay," I said softy. I didn't want to say good bye to him.
"Hey," he said gently lifting my chin. "Don't worry. We'll see, each other soon, baby, I promise." He kissed me.
"Nick! Let's go before we're late!" he said banging on the door.
"I love you and I know I won't be able to stop thinking about you."
"I love you too AJ. And be careful and be good and slow down on the McDonalds and don't forget too..." he put his fluger up to my lips.
"Don't worry about me. I've done this a lot of times before." He kissed me and gave me one last hug before him and Nick left.

The next few days seemed to drag without the guys. Vanessa and I finally found a job and a couple weeks later got our first apartment together. We talked to the guys often, almost everyday. About a month later Vanessa and I were able to get a week off of work. We were going to surprise the guys and drop in on one of their shows. It took a lot of planning and scheming before we were on our way to see them.

We walked into the stadium and sat down. We weren't close but we had a perfect view of the stage. We were very excited this being our first time seeing their big show with fans and everything. Finally the show started. It was as good as the guys explained it to be. Halfway through the show I noticed AJ started paying a lot of attention to the red headed dancer. He would put his arm around her and their heads would be close together. It wouldn't have bothered me but the closeness on stage kept happening. And in front of thousands of people no less.
I leaned close to Vanessa. "Do you notice what I notice?"
Her eyes opened wide, "Uh, what would that be?" I tilted my head at her, "Okay, okay so maybe he's just being friendly..." she said.
"A little too friendly!" I said standing up as he walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her.
"You noticed that too?" some girl said as I sat down. "AJ's my favorite and I came to both the concerts they had here and he was all over her last night too."
"Oh he was, was he?" I was getting angry.
"Yeah but it's not like we can do anything about it. I mean I'd give anything to be in her shoes," she stood up and screamed as the guys did their famous 'All I have to give' hat dance.
"Don't jump to conclusions. You know how AJ likes to flirt." Vanessa said.
"Yeah you're right," I said and tried to enjoy the rest of the show.
After the show Vanessa and I went to the hotel. We had rented a room in the hotel the guys were staying at.
"We're sure going to surprise them!" Vanessa said excitedly, "I can't wait to give Nick a hug."
We went to the front desk but they refused to give us any information. Then we saw one of the crewmembers that we had met before. "Oh the guys can't get any calls right now. They're doing some kind of interview. I'm sure they'll be free in a few hours."
We thanked him and asked him to not let our surprise get to the guys. Then we walked around and checked out the hotel. We found the indoor pool and spa.
"Lets get our suits!" Before we left I called AJ's cell phone. Still no answer so we decided they still must still be busy. We walked down to the spa and saw there were two people in there. They were laughing and slashing water. When we got closer we noticed it was AJ and the dancer. He put his arm around her and they kissed.
Vanessa looked at me in shock. "Come on lets go..." she said turning around.
"No. You go on ahead," I slowly kept walking toward them. Hurt by what I was seeing at first then the hurt turned to anger. They didn't notice me behind them because they were still kissing. I couldn't contain my anger anymore. I reached out and grabbed her arm and pulled her away from AJ.
"Hey..." she looked at me in shock.
"What the hell is going on AJ?" I said angrily letting go of her arm.
She rubbed her arm. "Don't ever grab me like that."
"Oh I'll do whatever I want..."
"Oh yeah well we'll just see about that..." AJ jumped between us before we started a catfight.
"This must be the girl you're so in love with, huh, AJ?"
"Kristen, please..." he started.
"Did you think I wouldn't find out AJ? I thought you loved me..."
"Baby, please..."
"Don't call me baby," I turned. Everyone that was in the pool was now staring at us.
"Wait," he said grabbing a robe.
"I should have known. That's why you were always 'on and off with Amanda, isn't it? You should have just told me the truth AJ!" I turned but he was still following me.
"Please..." he grabbed my hand. "I want to talk about this," he pleaded. I turned and looked into his eyes. He looked so sincere but I was so angry.
"No AJ. The answer is no." I said as I walked away.
"Please, I just want to get this..." he started to follow me. Kristen followed us. "AJ forget about her." she said.
I turned. "Stay out of our business!" I shouted walking backwards.
AJ turned to her, "Yes.Kristen. Please." He turned back to me and took my hand. He pulled me up to his room I protested the whole way. He shut the door when we got inside.
"Now what is it that you want from me!? I know what I saw so don't try to deny it or make some lame excuse." I didn't look at him. I couldn't. I knew if did I would end up forgiving him for something that was unforgivable. I loved him so much. He sat on the bed. He knew he had screwed up and by the way his voice sounded it seemed like he was making his final plea before giving up.
"Angela," his voice was huskier then usual from all the shouting. "I know this doesn't sound like enough but I'm so sorry. That kiss was ... well it was the first and last one. Her and I became good friends and I guess I missed you so much..."
"Don't use me as your excuse AJ. I missed you and you don't see me tonguing some other guy ... look I'm so sorry this happened AJ. I love you so much and this is going to hurt me so much but AJ ... I don't think I'm going to be able to trust you. She's your dancer and you're going to see her everyday and I ... I just can't be with you anymore." I was now crying. I still hadn't looked at AJ since we entered the room. I had my back to him. He didn't say anything and we had been sitting there for about two minutes since I told him I couldn't be with him. Then I heard a sniffle. I slowly turned around and looked at him. He wiped his eyes he was crying too. I stood up and walked over to him and sat down next to him.
He took my hands, "I don't want to lose you." He wiped the tears streaming down my face. "I love you so much Angela. I made one mistake please don't hold it against me."
"AJ, you're going to see you everyday. I mean she's going to be the one with you when you need someone to talk to. Don't tell me it won't happen because it just did and you told me it's because you missed me and she was there. And I do love you but no I can't be with you." I stood up and he did too he put his hand on my cheek.
"I love you..." he said.
I turned and walked out of the room. I ran the rest of the way to my room and cried myself to sleep.
