"Nick! Brian! HURRY UP!" Kevin shouted up the stairs. They heard thundering from upstairs followed by a loud thump.
"OW! Damnit Nick!" Brian shouted from upstairs. Nick flew down the stairs and started to put on his shoes. Brian came down the stairs and pushed the bent over Nick onto the ground.
"What was that for buttface?" Nick growled as Brian smirked.
"I'm dating a freaking retard." Ella buried her face in her hands.
"Ella, I'm married to a freaking retard." Leigh spoke up. Ella began laughing and looked over at the pouting Nick. A smile spread across his face.
"Come on Nickels. Get up." Ella reached down and helped him up. He reached down and entangled his fingers between hers and kissed her nose.
"Aww...so precious!" Kristin giggled.
"No, it's not! It's gross! They don't stop being all cute and cuddly. Come on guys it's been a month." Brian whined.
"I think it's cute Bear." Leighanne poked him.
"I was only kidding Leigh. I think it's sweet." Brian smiled.
"Whipped." Ella coughed.
"Oh sweetie. You need some water?" Nick laughed.
"I hate both of you." Brian narrowed his eyes.
"Let's just go eat." Howie suggested and they all piled into two cars and headed toward the restaurant. They were escorted to their seats and ordered their drinks.

"I'm so excited for the tour guys!" Ella exclaimed and was replied with some "me toos" and some groans.
"I am too but it's coming up too soon and it's gonna be a rough tour. We leave in two days for another 100 hour tour which will really be tough. But I'm looking forward to being on stage again." Kevin smiled.
"Ditto." Brian and Howie said.
"I can't wait to be up on stage again. I miss it." Nick said.
"Neither can AJ." Ella spoke up. They all looked at her.
"What? Just cuz he's in rehab doesn't mean we can't talk about him. I was talking to him the other day and he says he's feeling so much better. He really misses us all and really can't wait to see us. He is really excited about going on tour again." Ella smiled at the thought of her friend.
"That's true. I don't see why we walk around the subject of him in rehab for any reason. It'll all be ok. It's just a hurdle we have to get over and I think we'll clear it just fine." Brian responded and the others nodded.
"I think so too Bri." Ella reached under the table and grabbed Nick's hand. The rest of the meal was filled with conversation about the tour, past tours and their personal lives. After two hours they headed home to the beach house they were still occupying.

"Tow truck?" Ella looked at Nick hopefully. He kissed her forehead and nodded. She grinned, he turned around and she climbed onto his back. She hugged him tightly and rested her chin on his shoulder. She nuzzled his neck as he walked up the stairs to his bedroom that they sometimes shared. He sat down on the bed and she began to lay down pulling him back onto her. He laughed as she wrapped her legs even tighter around his waist. "Thank ya tow truck Nicky." She giggled and kissed his neck right below his earlobe. He gently reached down and pried her legs apart and stood up.
"Where ya going?" She asked. He laid down next to her.
"No where." He whispered and pulled her close to him. She laid her head on his chest and grabbed one of his hands and began to trace lines around his palm and up his fingers. She felt him let out a sigh.
"Are you all right baby?" She whispered looking up at him. He looked down at her.
"I'll be fine. I just don't want to leave you." He told her honestly.
"Oh hun, I'll be fine. You'll be fine. I don't need to come. I'd just be in the way. And you wouldn't have any time for me. It's only for 100 hours. Well, a lil more than that but whatever." She smiled as she began to stroke his face. He sank farther into the bed and started rubbing his hand across her back.
"I know. But we haven't been apart for that long. And plus AJ won't be there." He began to tear up. She pulled herself up and opened her arms and he fell into them.
"I know baby. I know. It'll be hard but he's getting better. Would you rather have him better or just have him sad all the time?" She whispered.
"Better. I know it'll be hard and everything will be ok but ya know," he replied.
"I know. But hey, don't worry about me though. I'll be chillin with your family. I can't wait to see them again." He pulled away and sat on the bed with his legs sprawled out. She sat Indian style between his legs. He smiled at her and reached out and caressed her hair. She closed her eyes and leaned into his touch.
"I love you Ella," he whispered hoarsely. She reached up and took his hand into hers and opened her eyes.
"I love you too Nickolas." He leaned forward and gently brushed his lips against hers. As he was pulling away, she put a hand on his neck and softly pushed him into her. She began to deepen the kiss and brought herself to her knees never breaking the kiss. He slipped his arms around her and began to caress her back. She pushed him down and laid on top of him. She began to feel his chest while his hands wandered around her body. She broke the kiss and licked her lips.
"We better stop." She whispered and laid her head in the crook of his neck. She felt him nod and reach up for her hair.
"You just can't keep your hands outta my hair can ya Carter?" She smiled.
"Nope. It's too pretty. Blonde just like mine." He told her and looked into her eyes.
"But I have to say you're eyes are prettier than mine." He whispered.
"Naw. You're eyes are the color of the ocean. Mine are just green."
"No. They're so captivating Ella. They're such a rich green and sometimes almost like a clear pool of green that you can see right through. Your eyes are really the windows to your soul." He replied.
"And yours." She responded.

"Ya wanna go for a walk?" Nick broke the silence that had settled in the room almost fifteen minutes ago.
"Good call Nicky." She replied. He grasped her hand and they walked through the house onto the deck and descended the stairs into the backyard. They walked by the pool onto the beach. He guided her closer to the crashing waves and started to swing their arms. He swung hard and almost smacked himself in the face. She let out a hearty laugh and he grinned.
"See. Told ya your laugh always makes me smile." He taunted.
"I never said it didn't, did I buttface?" She glanced at him and he smiled then turned to look at the ocean and pulled her down onto the sand. She pulled her knees to her chest and he put one leg under himself and rested his elbow on the other knee. He rested his chin in his hand. She looked over at him and her hair began blowing gently into her face. She pulled it back and rested her head on her arms and looked at Nick while glancing at the surroundings every once and a while.
"So serious." Ella pouted. He gave her a half smile.
"I never thought I'd find someone like you Mercy." Nick said and turned to look at her. She smiled and leaned into him. He put his arm around her and they stared out at the ocean together. "My mom loves you Ella. She has NEVER like any of my girlfriends. And she never liked any of Brian or Kevin's girlfriends. But when she met Kristin and Leighanne, she liked the immediately. And now they're married."
"Are you trying to hint at something Carter?" She smiled.
"You're a punk Ella. I was just sayin it's a good sign that my mom likes you."
"I'm a punk? You're a butthead." She laughed. She turned her face to his and saw him smiling.
"You're smiling!" She exclaimed and kissed him soundly on the lips.
"No, I'm frowning." He rolled his eyes and she grabbed his neck. "ELLA!" He yelped.
"Sarcastic mofo! Your ass is grass!" She shouted and sat on him and began tickling him.
"Please Ella! Stop! ANYTHING! I'LL DO ANYTHING!" he shouted and she stopped.
"Anything?" She raised an eyebrow.
"No?" He said and she began tickling him again. "YES I MEAN YES!" He screeched.
"Alright. Lemme think." She rubbed her chin still straddling his waist. He reached up and grabbed her sides.
"Don't even think about it Carter." She said and he pulled his hands away.
"I got it."
"Oh no....what do you want me to do?"
"Promise me that you'll never forget how much I love you. And how you and the guys mean to each other." He looked at her puzzled.
"Why? I mean why the last part?"
"You might need that in the future. I dunno. I just thought of it." She shrugged and leaned down and brushed her lips against his.
"I promise." He whispered as he gently held the sides of her face and stared into her eyes.
"Good. Now gimme a kiss."
