you see a few heads break the surfaces of the pools.
Enoon ! Is it The Human ?! "
It's voice is like music!
" Yes, girls, it is The Human.",answers Enoon
& she leads you to the edge of one of the pools.
You can't believe your eyes !
Climbing out of the water onto a small island
in the center of the pool is A MERMAID !
NO ! WAIT ! TWO MERMAIDS !!
As they shake & arrange their tresses,
Enoon introduces them.
"That
lovely young lady is 'Merriam' .....
&
this is her sister,
the
equally lovely 'Merna' ", says Enoon.
They giggle to each other then look at you shyly
and say,
in those sweet, musical voices,
" We are most pleased to make your aquaintance ! "
" The feeling is mutual ! " , you answer, still awed
,
almost mesmerized by these creatures !
Enoon's movement towards another pool
breaks the enchantment .
"Don't be afraid ! This is a friendly Human !"
With that, a beautiful, sloe-eyed,
cyan water dragon emerges from the pool.
She smiles at you & says,
" I am Moonyean . I am graced by your presence ! "
" As I am by yours, Moonyean ! ", you reply,
thinking how pleased 'Sun' would be
with this proper dragon greeting !
Not to be outdone by this delicate little lady,
another water dragon makes his presence known.
"Hello,
Human ! I am ' Nepresaes ' ,
blue
as the Sea, as you can see !", he says, laughingly.
" Nepresaes is a very merry fellow ", says
Enoon, leaning over to lovingly stroke his head."
He is a source of good cheer to us all ."
Suddenly, you feel something sniffing at your shoes !
You look down to see a very small red baby dragon,
crouching down in a playful way,
wagging his tail & giggling !
Enoon looks down & laughs,"This is 'Pepper' .
He is one of the youngest of our family & loves to play !
He is usually out playing in The Garden,
but I guess he, too, couldn't wait to meet you !
Come.
Let us go to The Garden & meet the others."
You can't resist the temptation !
You reach down & pick up Baby Pepper !
He responds by gurgling & rapidly licking your face
with his little pointed tongue !
It tickles !
After bidding your new friends good-bye,
& promising to return soon for another visit,
you follow Enoon to yet another door..........
