Highwoods is the name for all the territory north of Colchester.
North of the main train line, a large nature reserve had become overgrown during the war and afterwards. Two brothers discovered that the area was rich with wild animals and enough materials to last them a life time. So it was in the centre of the woods that Kaine and Io founded the Highwoods tribe, a collection of warriors and soldiers, all men up until the moment that two hookers became involved with the leaders, from which point women were allowed to join.
Until then of course, Highwoods were the Amazons main adversaries, each hating the other with a poisonous venom.But becaues Highwoods was the northern most tribe in Colchester, they were the first tribe that the NAC met, and the first to feel the consequences of the confrontation.
After having put up a long and tiring battle, the warriors of Highwoods retreated to their base deep within the forests. It was to be their final stand.
Not a single tribe member survived the slaughter, and the tribes compound was leveled.
