The
Colne Amazons
"Hell
knows no fury like a woman scorn."
Not much is known about the reclusive Amazons at all. They are friendly with the
nearby Castle tribe, and are reluctant to fight, but they also keep very
up-to-date with the latest news, often surprising other tribe members with news
that they had not yet heard. Amazons wear light blue headbands.
Although they are a tribe of women, they are kept going by their devised method
of having children. Whenever an Amazon wishes to have kids, she goes to a tribe
for a while and becomes friendly with one or two of the male members of the
tribe, and then gets herself pregnant. If the child is a boy, she can choose to
join the fathers tribe, or just hand the child over to him (bit of a surprise,
eh?). If the child is a girl she will return to the Amazons and bring the child
up in that enviroment.
Amazons are very close to nature, and this is why they chose to live by the
river in a more medieval way than the other tribes.
