The Insanity of Black Steel part II
Seasons passed and BlackSteel was as happy as ever, only one thing problemed him. The evil sorceress ShadowSong, was back and after his lovemate who had once been her servant.
One night ShadowSong came to BlackSteel's den. He awoke while she was coaxing SkyNight out of their den using hypnosis. BlackSteel shot up, knowing he would be unable to defeat ShadowSong he simply made his plea,
**Please...no...(he looked at his lovemate)...take me. I'll go, just leave SkyNight alone.** ShadowSong looked him over and smiled evily, **Yesss...** She hissed,
**You would be a much better servant for what I need. I agree.** BlackSteel nodded sadly.
For many seasons in secret BlackSteel served his "captor" until one day... BlackSteel came to ShadowSong's lair high in the mountains one night. He walked inside her den. She sat in the shadows, her face covered by the dark. **Welcome BlackSteel. I have another job for you.** She whispered. He looked mournfully at her, **Yes? My lady?**
ShadowSong stood and walked to the window over looking the forest. She pointed at a den, it had a single flame glowing in it. **There... I want you to kill everyone that lives there.** She ordered. BlackSteel's face grew pale. **But... that is the den of ForestGreen THE CHIEFTAN!!!** He said with horror. ShadowSong laughed horribly,**HAHAHA... yes I know...isn't it PERFECT?! HAHAHA...NOW GO!!!** BlackSteel just stood for a moment in dread and then turned and left for the den of his chief.
BlackSteel stood at the foot of BlackTree where ForestGreen denned as all head chiefs do. He frowned and a tear ran down his face. He slowly walked inside and drew a dagger. He started criing uncontrolably, he raised his dagger high over his head and struck down... but he stopped just before striking. He couldn't go through with it...it was to much. He turned and ran through the forest and to ShadowSong's lair. When she saw him she smiled, **So the deed is done BlackSteel?**
He glared at her, **No...** He hissed, **I'm through with you. You spineless, cruel, backstabbing, slug!!** ShadowSong stared at him, **I wouldn't say such things.** She warned. **I don't care...kill me if you want...I've no life any more thanks to you.** ShadowSong smiled evily, **No...I won't kill you. You hold life to preciously for me to kill you. Your Lovemate you sacrafice your life for, you are the best hunter in the holt. You are admired for your looks. No life I shall let you heve. But not your same life.** She waved her hands and from them came rays of black energy. They hit BlackSteel in the chest and he yelled in pain. Slowly he began to transform. His back started to curve and his skin turned blue and wrinkly. His teeth sharpened and his eyes grew large and yellow. His fingers grew large and his naile turned to claws. He had transformed into a monster. ShadowSong laughed as he looked at himself in horror. He ran from the lair and to his den. SkyNight awoke when he walked in. **Black' Is that you? You smell horrible.** She rolled over and saw him. She screamed and ran out of the den. BlackSteel tried yelling but only a long hiss came out. Tears ran down his face. Suddenly all the elves came out of the bushes and saw him standing there. ForestGreen cocked his bow and aimed at BlackSteel not realizing that it was him. BlackSteel yelled but again it only came out as a hiss. Realizing it was futile BlackSteel lept into a tree and ran. He ran to the swamps and hid. There he has lived to this day, he changed his name to Slag and over the seasons the once happy and loving elf turned into a heartless cold killer whom stalks the swamp making sure no one comes in and sees him in his horrid state. Anyone that enters is killed. On the day he came to the swamp he vowed to get his revenge on ShadowSong and one day he knows...he will.
