Venture Crew

Welcome:
Troop 2 is a member of the Powahay District of the Connecticut Yankee Council of the Boy Scouts of America. It is a year around outdoor troop whose activities include

• Year around camping, including the District Klondike in January
• Hiking on the Appalachian Trail
• Orienteering
• Canoeing and Rafting
• Backpacking
• An annual historic trails trip
• Week-long summer camp at Yawgoog Scout Reservation in Rhode Island


Troop meetings are held every Thursday from 7 to 8:30pm at the United Church Meeting House during the school year. We observe Norwalk Public Schools severe weather cancellations.

Boards of Review take place during the first troop meeting of each month. Patrol Leaders' Council is held from 6 to 7pm before the last troop meeting of each month.


All boys who have completed the fifth grade, or are 11 years old, or have earned the Arrow of Light, but are not yet 18 years old are welcome.
