No radio. No gas. No hope.

Jessica Wakefield and nick Fox had planned the perfect romantic vacation - an intimate week alone, sailing the Pacific Ocean.
They didn't plan on having to save a guy from drowning after his boat capsized. They didn't plan on taking the stranger aboard. And when their emergency radio goes dead and the boats motor cuts out, they're trapped - in more ways than one. Because the man they have just rescued is no victim. He's a skilled hunter - and Jessica and Nick are his prey.
And in the middle of the desolate ocean, there's no one to hear their SOS...

On the ocean, no one can hear you scream . . .

"Get away from the radio, Jessica," Eric warned. His voice was deep and deadly serious.
"Nick! Help!" she continued on, feeling Eric's smoldering eyes burning into the back of her head. Her fingers squeezed the radio mouth-piece. "Help! This is an emergency!"
Eric stood in front of her, the veins in his forearms bulging. "I told you to get away from there," he seethed, but Jessica wouldn't let go. The radio was her only hope.
"Nick!"
"The radio won't help you, Jessica." With prying fingers Eric opened the side compartment and reached into the radio, pulling out a fistful of broken wires. A triumphant grin broke across his face, revealing viciously gleaming white teeth.
Jessica backed away, eyes bulging in terror, hands gripping her head. "Nick! Help me!" she screamed with such ferocity that it felt as if her lungs were on fire. "Nick!" But she knew with terrifying dread that it was all for nothing. And when she looked out over the water, there was still no sign that Nick was on his way back.
Eric leaned casually against the mast, his grin melting into flirtatious pout. "Don't bother screaming, sweetheart," he whispered, his stony black eyes leering at her through thick eyelashes. "No one can hear you."
