Chloe couldn't believe Martin was showing up at the Theta house! She watched him take a step into the living room -and trip over one of his shoelaces. He stumbled against Moira's chair, and his eye galsses fell onto the floor.
Chloe heard snickers from her sorority sisters as Martin got to his feet.
"Are you all right?" Denise asked him.
"I'm fine," Martin said with a smile, picking up his glasses. "Except for the fact that I'm completely uncoordinated!"
"So how can we help you?" Denise asked.
"Get him a new prescription," Sure whispered to Kate, and they both started giggling again.
Chloe edged toward the living room's back door. She had to get out of here fast. at Theta, image counted -for a lot. And Chloe wasn't prepared to scarifice what little image she had for a guy who couldn't remember to tie his shoes. Even if she really lliked him...
