"Last night I saw Finn with some blond chick," Sam said. "He was all over her. I thought you should know before your date with him tonight."
Elizabeth let out a short, dry laugh. "Yeah, right, Sam."
He ran his hands through his sandy-brown hair. "Liz, Finn's a two-timing jerk. And you'd better wake up to that fact before it's too late."
"Too late for what?" Elizabeth snapped back. Had Sam overheared her telling Jessica that Finn was pressuring her to sleep with him?
"You know what I'm talking about, Wakefield."
So he had heard. She felt her stomach sink with that knowledge, but she wasn't going to let Sam and his jealous lies get to her.
