From Dusk Till Dawn
Rating - R (For Strong Violence, And Gore, Language and Nudity)
Rating - 7/10
Description - It's nonstop thrills when George Clooney (THE PERFECT STORM, THREE KINGS) and Quentin Tarantino (PULP FICTION) star as the Gecko brothers -- two dangerous outlaws on a wild crime spree! After kidnapping a father (Harvey Keitel -- U-571) and his two kids (including Juliette Lewis -- NATURAL BORN KILLERS), the Geckos head south to a seedy Mexican bar to hide out in safety. But when they face the bar's truly notorious clientele, they're forced to team up with their hostages in order to make it out alive!

Demons Review - From Dusk Till Dawn Seems to start out as a solid action-thriller flick, but evolves into a very decent horror film, that is more fun then scary. After being held hostage by two criminals on the run, a father and his two children are led into Mexico unwillingly. About half way through the movie, they stop at the rendezvous point. A sleazy biker/trucker bar, that is more then meets the eye.

At this point in the movie, it really takes off, with nearly non-stop on the edge of your seat action. I would have to say I was not frightened by this movie once throughout my viewing, but was thoroughly entertained. With enough gun slinging, decapitating, and blood-spewing to go around, this movie will satisfy action and horror fans in one hearty dosage.

The music was great, and set the scenes up very well. From epic orchestrative symphonies, to mellow background music that really put you in the movie, it all fit perfect. At not one point in the movie did I cringe at the soundtrack, or feel like turning the volume down to escape the annoying blare of an unwanted song/soundtrack. The dialog was smart, and intruiging and kept the movie moving at a quick, exciting pace.

For the most part the characters were likeable, and the acting good. I only had a real problem with the actor who played Scott, he just seemed so dead and unanimated. Everyone else was great though, and fit the part. Especially the two criminal brothers (George Clooney and Quentin Taratino), they were believable, hateable, and likeable at the same time.

In conclusion, From Dusk Till Dawn Is a more then capable action/horror flick. I would have loved to have seen more scares in this film, there was none or near none. I definitely recommend this movie to any of the following; Gore Lovers, Action Lovers, Vampire Lovers, and Horror Lovers.
