I lay on my back on the rock just staring at the sky
And for some odd reason I began to cry
My heart began to ache and my vision became blurred
And just like a favorite song, in my head I heard your words
'I will always be there,
No matter what becomes of us...
Believe me when I tell you
You're the only one I'll ever love'
Tears spilled over the corners of my eyes
As the Heavens opened and released it's shooting stars
Right then I made a wish that I will be with you tonight
I wiped my tears away and stood,
I grabbed my shoes from in front of the trees
And walked to my car
I just wanted to hear your sweet voice
Just wanted to see those brown eyes look at me
Just wanted to be with you for eternity
Before I could start the car
I broke down in tears...
Because I could drive for hours until i found your house
and i wouldn't be any happier
because the look in your eyes that i'd see
reflected the tears you're going to wear
because i hurt you
[i cant bear to see that]
I crawled out of my car,
Leaned against the door i just slammed in the dead of night
fell to the ground
and cried some more.
So now I'm sittin here without you,
already missing you
Even though you're in the same place
youve always promised to be
you're still there,
wiating for me.
i'm just lost..
not knowing what to wait for.
