A library so vast expands before you. Your breath nearly stops as your eyes travel the shelves of thousands upon thousands of old books. The largest you see lays open upon an oaken desk lighted by a flickering candle. A lil goblin rests upon its dulled pages his gaze peering over the open book. You glance at his thinking it odd and the lil man suddenly lifts his crimson gaze to you.
"What did you expect to see, eh? Go on ... peer into the book ...read of the past...for your future will be learned within its pages......"
Swollowing hard you sit upon the chair and lean forward as if pulled by the goblins words...or could it be your curiosity. A bright blinding light envelopes you and with a silent scream none hear, you are gone........what is said of the curious cat??..................
THE STORY.....
Appearing as if to hover your vision clears and you find yourself floating over a scene....a vicious battle between two women....One man struggling to watch over his sons, protect them as one falls dead amidst the magic flares and blasts. The other boy child vanishes before the very hand of the man of his father before he can reach him. You can feel the utter agony as u watch the man crumble and go insane. With his insanity and the screams of the woman as his loss is reaked upon them fades the images to darkness......
Tis the beginning of Raven. A man born unto Chaos through the battle of another world.
This realm as all know is good and evil...order and chaos. You cannot have one without the other of course. Yet Good is the epitome of evil itself. Chaos sent a man, Raven....he will bring chaos back to a world of Good and take again the control it once had.
In the floating world of darkness you see visions of chaos and death. Evil laughter fills your mind as insanity grows and you suddenly fall.....fall....fall..... into nothing till at last landing at the bottom looking up at the goblin who ignores you as if you don't exist. You scramble to your feet and run to tell others of this.
You return the way you came and enter into The Nest, the center of this vast Keep, you see a man sitting on the bar and the man on the Bar speaks but is it to you?
"Every one craves life's pleasures yet you don't indulge, you want to drink from ecstasys cup yet you wont abide. You want to walk the edge like one of The Flock yet you are afraid to fall, so you back away slowly hoping no none notices your frailties, your cowardice. You wish you weren't so weak, and that pain never carressed you being. What do you know about the pain? Try walking in our shoes, experience our sorrow. A childhood with out hope, a life without joy. But at least your still alive. They say the Raven is The Flocks guide that he is the very essence that brings them together."
The strange man falls silent as you look around the bar. You have questions yet you don't want to know the answers. What is this "Flock" he speaks of? How did they come together? Is this man the leader of it, this "Raven" mentioned? You look at him again and he begins to speak once more and he raises his head and holds out a hand.
"The world you once knew is over. Gone are the days of normalcy and conformity. I feel your pain, I am your opportunity... I am your salvation. Should you not come with me, I will set you free."
You take his hand and a strange smile comes over him........
Now tis your turn...will you take his hand, follow his lead and join his life in the Darkness.....live the life of The Flock?.....Come......play the Game the board is set and tis your move...............................
