Buyers Beware!!!! Alexandria Homes is a new home builder located in Lehigh Acres, FL. My husband and I have spent a year building a new house with them and let me tell you...what a mess. I had to pick out colors and tile three times, My cabinets were ordered wrong and my countertops took forever. There were problems with their in-house mortgage broker trying to rip us off and threats that if we used another broker we would not get the house and after putting in hours of labor and roughly $10,000.00 of our own money the builder has backed out of the contract illegally and is trying to sell the house from underneath us. Not returning any of our money! We were buying the home for $140,000.00 and now he is selling for $165,000.00. I have hired an attorney and we are working on finding another builder, one whom is honest, hard working and dedicating to build the best home possible for us. Please beware if you are looking for a new home in the Lehigh area, for all the previous buyers have contacted me and they too are unhappy with their homes as well as the service they have received..customers that have contractors calling them looking to get paid, customers that have had septic back ups into their home and the builder refused to send someone to fix. These people are crooks and will take you for everything you have!!!! Please use caution
