- Our next meeting will be Jan. 30 2007 in the Lounge at Regina 202 at 530pm.
- Archaeology Formal. Will be Feb. 09 I hope you all have your tickets because it will be an excellent night! Dinner and dancing! Raffle tickets will be on sale 1 for 1$ or 3 for 5$ and we have some awesome prizes!
- There is a bake sale on March 6th so sign up to sit at the booth or bake some goodies and you'll get some points! Also that night there will be a movie night so come out and relax
Elections will be held on March 12th all paid members can run for a position and vote. We do ask that anyone running for president have a year of experience on the executive team first. So nominate your friends or nominate yourself and come out!

Remains of ancient synagogue with unique mosaic floor found in Galilee
Remains of an ancient synagogue from the Roman-Byzantine era have been revealed in excavations carried out in the Arbel National Park in the Galilee under the auspices of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The excavations, in the Khirbet Wadi Hamam, were led by Dr. Uzi Leibner of the Hebrew University�s Institute of Archaeology and Scholion � Interdisciplinary Research Center in Jewish Studies.

- Our next meeting will be Nov. 13 2007 in the Lounge at Regina 202 at 530pm.
- DIG NIGHT will be on, Thursday, Nov. 07 2007. All archaeology majors need a credit, AR219, to graduate and other interested parties are always allowed to come check us out or even participate. Dr. Daviau will be presenting on the excavation held in Jordan (June 15 - Aug 07). Dr. Triggs will also present on his excavation in Indian Ontario, 15 minutes out of Caledonia. There may also be a classical option offered, though it will be through another university.
- T-shirts will be going on sale in November, so come out and find out which slogan won!

- Movie Night will be in BA110 at 7pm on Oct. 25 2007. There will be a variety of scary and not-so-scary movies so come out and enjoy a break from all that school work!

- Meet the Profs night will be October 10 2007 530 - 7pm in Wil's Den. Come out and get to know your professor asa well as all the others you'll get to know in later classes. We're all good folk in the Archaeology and Classics Department.
- Our next meeting is October 17 2007. This is the final day to submit your t-shirt slogan ideas. The winner gets a free t-shirt!!

- Meet the Profs night will be October 03 2007 530 - 7pm. Come out and get to know your professor asa well as all the others you'll get to know in later classes. We're all good folk in the Archaeology and Classics Department. This should take place in Wilf's Den.
- The week of Oct 01-05 is also Campus Clubs week. Come out and help with the booth or just drop by to say hi

- O-week is September 03-07. With campus clubs day on Wednesday September 05 2007. Hopefully you'll see our booth there!
- Classes start September 10. Our first meeting is still TBA. But they are usually Wednesdays in the lounge at 202 Regina. Check back soon and we'll have more information.

- DIG NIGHT Will be November 23rd at 7pm in BA101. The professors presenting will be Dr. Knight (Orillia) and Dr. Daviau (Jordan), there may also be information on the classics dig run with another university. Want a chance to earn more fellowship points then bake some goods to be served at this event!
- T-shirts and polo shirts are on sale for the next meeting. They are 15 and 25 dollars respectivly. The colour is maroon.

- For Fellowship Points submit an article to the point by the end of term!
- The faunal class is having an open house on Wednesday the 23rd so go take a look! They have some amazing animal skeletons~

- This is the temperary home of the Wilfrid Laurier University Archaeology Web page, until we are granted our alloted space on the campusclub website
- The first year social was a blast and we'd like to thank all those who came out. Meet the Profs also went quite well, after a little bit of a rocky start. Thanks again guys!
- IMPORTANT: We have a BBQ coming up Thursday October 19th from 8pm to 2am. We need people to sign up to help us raise money for the club and all those who come out will get points towards their fellowship.
- The formal committee is also in seach of memebers to plan this year's social on February 3rd. Students who are on this council will also get points towards their fellowship and it's a lot of fun!
